The authoress was doing a ShikaNeji 30_lemons thing that I was following; and just happened to find it. Supposed it would be easier to track if it was on AFFnet though xD Yes. Yeah though, I've seen ItaShika around quite a bit, actually ._.' I was asked to draw a ItaNeji fanart just recently for someone...has anyone seen that one before? I don't think I have o_O

Takeshi: I don't know. I kinda find myself attaracted to healthier-looking people, but I know I probably won't get someone like that if I'm chubbseh.(I've just never been attarcted to chubby guys before, that's all.)
Pen name: I think the same way. I can see Shika with a lot of people, but I can't see Neji with anyone else but Shika. (Mostly since I'm the type who'd support a Shika-harem. Or probably just wanting to get my favorite character laid. Either or.)

I think healthy means a bit of extra chub. I mean...300lbs or something is clearly pushing it, it's bad for your heart and whatever. But a still want a bit of skin to hold on to.
I'm trying to think of a good example but can't seem to come up with one xD;;
Either way, love handles: please; cardiac arrest: no thanks.
[granted, I won't argue a nice six-pack either >_> I'm still a typical woman after all...well sorta. ]

Now, I've read a KankuroNeji fic and I liked it, but I like to have a pretty bishie and a sexy man beast seme with chiseled, rock hard abs. Le drool...but that's just my hormones talking. mrgreen

One of my ex boyfriends is chubby. But good in bed. Sometimes when you like a guy you just like a guy, you know? xd
Kankurou is considered chubby? Hm... I never saw him as plump. He's not as slim as Gaara or Shikamaru, true, but not as plump as Chouji. Maybe it's the costume? And I think Chouji is still sexy. He doesn't look like the Blob or anything xp He's the kind of chubby that looks healthy, big and strong.
Sanee: Oh yeah. Shika'd look drool-worthy getting laid with anyone.
I forgot to mention though, somehow I can't feel good about ShikaChou, ShikaNaru or ShikaKiba. Those flashback scenes of the "Detention Gang" (Shikamaru, Chouji, Naruto and Kiba) must've really gotten to me. I saw them as this really close friends, almost like brothers. Sure they don't hang out together much anymore, but the bond's still there. Reminds me of my childhood friends which, I don't know why, found the idea of any of us getting together icky if not borderline insane xd So I'm not against those pairings or anything, just wouldn't want to read it.
I have the same problem with ShikaIno and/or ChouIno. This one's worse because my closest inner circle right now consists of me and my two best friends. One of them is a sweet, chubby guy and we're so close many people have asked why didn't we just get together. Every time anyone asked that, to either of us, we'd react the same way: "Ew! He's like my brother/sister!" So I guess when I see the interaction of Team 10, I see a bit of us there. Again, I'm not saying it's a bad/wrong pairing, it's just my personal take on it.
Why am I rambling like this? I'm supposed to go to work, damn it!

Those points you made really make sense, but I still think ShikaNaru, ShikaChou, and ChouIno are really cute. Especially ChouIno. Chouji's so adorable in Shippuuden, and he'd be ridcuously sweet to Ino. Still, I'm not sure if Ino deserves a man like him just yet.
There's a comic somewhere (actually two, I believe) about Shikamaru being portrayed as a slut/man-whore/etc. I'll have to find them.

I was hunting around on the 'net today...and ZOMG! Kanky's not chubbers at all- he looks WAAYY hot without that ridiculous, baggy, hideous black outift and make-up. He's almost as hot as Gaara, though Gaara's all skinny and emo-lookin. Kank's got more of a punk "I'll kick your bloody a**" thing going on....
and I loved the SHika man-whore comics. Again, makes me think of Harem Neji and Shika, where Shika's this really rich sheikh and he's got himself a literal harem. 'Course, Neji would still be his favorite. Even if Neji's a guy...who cares? He's prettier than all them beoches! ^O^

Yup! Little Neji being in the front of the fan-horde was the first thing I noticed too. It's just great.
(I also like the panel where all the pairings are being read off. ShikaShika? LOL. [Sounds kinda sexy, actually. But...it's more than it's share of weird. Still....])
I think we all agree that Kanky should take his makeup off?

Agreed! It's like he's a normal human being underneath all that purple....it's gorgeous. Incidentally, his makeup is necessary for me >_> only because if I draw him without it, it might as well not be Kankuro. Doesn't look a thing like him
