Why? Punch him 'cuz he's kind annoying, maybe, but then hug him 'cuz after being punched by you, he'd need a hug?

I agree with Corpse Bride. Even if this whole guild, or even all the Gaian Christian guilds were to protest this, it wouldn't make a difference. Think about it. Christians probably make up a teeny tiny portion of Gaia, while the rest don't care about the ungodliness of MTV.
I'd just ignore the MTV affiliations to Gaia, and continue going about my busines here.

In any case, Lanzer's probably a Buddhist. He looks the type.
Besides, his name is Derek Liu. Asian. Nothing says Asia like a Buddhist altar.

I'm Asian, I'm allowed to dislike my own culture. Besides, the vast majority of Asians are either Buddhist, Hindu or Shinto. Christians are a relative minority, except in Vietnam, 'cuz the French. So there's a better than even chance that I'm right in guessing that Lanzer's Buddhist.
In any case, Asian culture is diverse, but ain't that great. Vietnamese opera? A dentist's drill would be more musical. Japanese food? With the exception of haute cuisine, it is very good for you but very bland. China's... general attitude towards the rest of the world? Blargh. Asia is so convinced that they possess all knowledge, all wonders, they're utterly convinced that all enlightenment began in Asia, that all good things came from Asia, that the whole world started in Asia! Their arrogance makes my blood boil! ARGH!

ARGH! not even from asia, as i understood it they each believe those things started in thier own countries. the most racist i've ever seen a chinese man was against a vietnamese man.

Vietnam actually has more reason to hate China. For a thousand years, on and off, China invaded, occupied, lost and retook Vietnam. It ain't easy being a little tiny country next to an Asian superpower.
But as I understand it, the Mongols (who conquered nearly all of Asia and some of Europe) never managed to take Vietnam. *nationalist pride*

@Laz: I am not little. I may be skinny, but I'm taller than most people in my class, thank you so very much... *miffed*
And my parents emigrated about nineteen years ago. Being Southern Vietnamese (well, my dad's Central and Northern, but was born and raised in the South, plus, his father had ties to the French), my parents were oppressed in their own country, so they emigrated. And now I'm Australian-Vietnamese. Best of both worlds. ^_^

Death to MTV because they disobey the Bible! All nonbelievers must be shunned!
You know, this kinda sounds like... guess what? Terrorists... Why should you shun a tv channel because it does not obey your beliefs? Don't be a hypocrit.
