Sure, I'll take them. They live in the cupboard 99% of the time. What do I care what colour they are? They're new!
Would you take a really expensive top-quality mattress that was only a month old, but the person who had it before was a chronic bedwetter and they had flipped the mattress so both sides got peed. A lot.

Depends on the age and the value, sentimental or otherwise. My Grammy has some ornaments in poor condition that i would take because they were my great grandmothers.
A full set of china with a pattern you think is unattractive?

Yes. I was given such a set. I don't think it's hideous, but I wouldn't have paid for it myself. Even if it was hideous I wouldn't have turned it down. I could always have sold or swapped it.
A powder blue toilet from the '60s that someone took out of their house during a remodel. And yes, they scrubbed it so it's clean. wink

Nah. I'd rather have a tent. Easier to maintain.
A camcorder in working condition, but with a few external abrasions (it's been dropped quite a few times..), that uses tapes (not digital)?

Hmm, probably not.
A parrot that is quite smart and is trained to sing and talk on command, but has an innate fear of loud noises and will squawk uncontrollably for hours when startled?

I would take it then sell it at a pet store. I'll take anything if I can resale it! If I had to keep the damn thing then no.
A cell phone that works in all aspects except, half the screen doesn't show picture.

Probably not, doesn't sound much better than my current one... but at least the cell phone works.
An old but comfortable banana chair, that the material on the back has torn and been duct taped back together?
