Shisharen had heard the history Xanitos was telling, and had wandered closer, interested. "I heard about that..." she murmured. "But I didn't think they were such a big deal any more."

Ashe walked into the building, and as a precaution, set out an item so that the sound of their voices would go no farther then this room. Then she closed all the windows.

"Ah, yes. The Spajeran." Asuryan says. "I remember the warrior children there. The fighting was as close as I have gotten to death, except for the lair of the demon lord."

Brandon Goldenleif walked to the door of the inn. He had heard rumors that the something was happening again at the Spajeran base. The memories of the fighting there still sent shivers down his spine. He opened the door into the inn, looking at all the people in the room. He paused, then sat down in the nearest chair, his armor clinking and clanging with every movement.

Alex folowed the group into the building being careful not to be noticed.

Zach had noticed Alex, because he was half-dragon, and his senses were keenly developed as part of being so. He choose not to say anything, but walked over to an are where he would be close enough to stop Alex if anything happened.

Maya dropped into the seat next to Brandon, almost knocking him over.

Shisharen seemed somewhat suprised by Maya's enterance. She nervously ran her hand down the handle of her haleberd, which was hanging on a strap over her shoulder.

Noticing Shisharen, she put up both of her hands. "I'm not going to kill you. I've been watching from above. I'm an assassin."

"Oh!" Shisharen started, jerking her hand away from her haleberd. "N-no, I didn't think you were going to." she smiled shakily.

Branden jumped slightly when the assassin landed in the seat next to him. He smiled at her, but the smile falterd. His eyelids started to shudder, then pulled close across his eyes. His body fell in a slump, his armor keeping him from falling onto the floor. A soft snoring could be heard from his figure.

Xanitos finally speaks again, after waiting for everyone. "So, if no one else is here, I'll continue. These children were incredibly powerful. However, as great as these children were, there was one problem: They were mind controlled." he pauses for a moment, and rubs his forhead. "The paladins saw what was happening, and they realized the Spajaren's one true desire: world conquest. So they went to war while the children were still undeveloped in their fighting skills."

"Exactly. It was a bloody battle before the paladins got a stroke of luck: An earthquake ruptered the battlefield, a spell from one of the Spajaren, which attracted the attention of a large white dragon. When this dragon joined the fight, the paladins slowly gained the upper hand."
