I personally thought it was a very good performance by all the actors. They had a very interesting cast of people. Geoffery *Sp?* Rush was wonderful as Captain Barbosa. Kiera Knightley was grand as Elizabeth Swann. Even though I'm not exactly the biggest Orlando Bloom fan, I'll have to admit that he did a very good job as Will Turner. Not to mention that there would not have even been a story without the infamous Captain Jack Sparrow. Johnny held an EXCELLENT performance as him.
This is one of the Johnny movies that got the crazy fan girl out of me.... I saw the movie 48 times in the theatre... sweatdrop .... I have the tickets to prove it... sweatdrop
The only thing that I had an issue with is that a lot of teeny-boppers only saw the movie for Orlando and/or Johnny. I saw it 48 times because I thought it was VERY well put together. It wasn't one of those "arg, lets find me some booty on this uncharted island" type movies where all the pirates have peg legs and eyepatches. It had everything I love in a movie *here comes the corn and cheese*: excitement, adventure, romance, a semi-happy ending, and Johnny Depp. *Yes, I had to add in Johnny Depp*.
I can't wait till the sequils. 3nodding

Well first off i loved this movie, it's definetly in my top 5 with johnny depp movies (which also includes edward scissor hands, sleepy hollow, secret window, and the ninth gate)and i can't WAIT for the sequels but heres some food for thought... now this occured to me in english last year when we were reading "To Kill A Mockingbird" and my teacher was talking about the different names with birds being symbols... which makes me think... Jack SPARROW, Will TURNer, Elizabeth SWANn... ironic isnt it?

I just thought it was kind of ironic how the Jack on W&G was a lot like Jack on PotC. *The same with Will*. Very good observation yinala. 3nodding

Laurewyn Nothing here yet, so... Casting for extras in POTC II and III are going on now. You must be 18 or older. See Pirates of the Caribbean Fandom for more info. Where might I find this fandom place? is it a website that I can go to? Can someone give it to me?

i think potc is a fabulous movie. of course depp was great as captain jack, but i don't think bloom was rough enough to be turner. of course turner's supposed to be sweet and all that but, come on, he is a blacksmith. although he's very cute and all that, he is too sweet in his voice (but well.. that's just my opinion). i look forward to the next film but i daren't hope for it to be better than this one... because if it won't be better and i hope for it... i'll just get really disapointed sweatdrop
