Dampylle Shadowfire Resident Isaka I know who you're talking about. I had a fight once and he called me not a real fan of Nintendo because I have a PS2. I'm a fan but there's some games on the PS2 I wanted to have so I bought it. And I'm not a mindless fangirl, I can say each consoles are good and that all we say for or against them is only opinions Again that is some severe irony.... since the person Ir efer to goes aroudn ranting about how the Xbox and the 360 are better than everything else.... yet he is going to say you are not a "real nintendo fan" Oh sorry, I tought you were talking about someone else. But I must have seen someone like that on the forum...

It really bugs me when people make stupid Versus topics on perpose, or just ignore others alerting them of thier ignorance for the rules.
Right now there's a Bowser VS Me topic in the VGD, and the topic is pretty ******** stupid. The creator admits he would lose, and thus the topic makes no sense. Another prime example would be a Dante Vs. Vergil topic. Did the first and third game not give you enough information? Dante beat vergil while endowed with the power of mundas, who was beat by sparda, which vergil had the power of when dante beat him in DMC3. If he can't beat dante with the power of the lord of the underworld, and the vanquisher of the lord othe underworld, then he can't win period. USE LOGIC!
My second problem has a great example on the first page of the VGD. A topic about a FFX-3 game. I've reported it, told the person kindly once, and no one posted in it. What did the creator of the topic do? He bumped it saying "come on! don't let this topic die!" Now he has 3 other posts in the topic telling him and the other pant-less ones where to go, and they continue to post. If you can type up something, then you can read my post. Why don't you listen

Agreed, threads such as that serve no real purpose and simply cause fanboy arguments..... I saw the Dante Vs. Square-Enix has no plans of any kin d to do a FFX-3.... so it is literally nothing but fanboy rantings.... and that is made even worse since it is in the wrong forum... and the guy bumps it to try adn keep it alive after being told this I sympathise with you on these issues Veras

I''ve had it(but also had a good laugh) with Link fanboys. Damp and I just got finished with a zelda fanboy(zelda, not link apparently) who looks at Zelda as a god. He wanted to make people belive in the zelda god, and well... just look at the hilarity(it''s almost as hilarious as the jack thompson VGcats email chain):

You know what really Grinds my Gears?
I haven't seen too many threads lately, but the runescape players that come on. They use hardly any grammar at all, and then when you tell them you don't like the game, they get all defensive.

I can't stand the polar opposites on games such as Halo, FFVII, and WoW. It seems like everyone either hates or worships these games, either side getting a little annoying. They're good games. They are not reasons to quit your jobs. They are not the reasons your ears bleed every time you hear the game. They're good. Not crappy, not god-like, but good games.
It keeps feeling more and more like people are thinking "I dislike ___, therefore I am an individualist and am cool." I just posted that in an anti-FFVII thread, actually. >>
Oh, and on the topic of WoW...I realize that theres virtually no problem here on Gaia, which is odd, but I went to a website to download the "Leroy Jenkins" video, and there were hugely negative remarks about it, such as "get these wow fags off teh site" (I quote).
And so ends the VGP debut of FlakPanzer!
