I think this is going to be a ramble on the topic of the man that I love, worship, and adore. Oh it's going to be much.
David Bowie is probably my favorite artist of all time. I love all of his songs, past and present and in between. There's no song that I've come across that I hate or don't like. Everyone of his personas is amazing and wonderful and I love them all, but if I had to choose I'd say Ziggy, like the rest of you, and young Bowie. There's just something about him. Oh he's so sexy. Anywho, I own tons, upon tons of his merchandise, ranging from my 60 or so vinyls, posters, buttons, books, including tourbooks and the coveted Moonage Daydream, I even have dvds, three different covers of Labyrinth and The Reality tour, and I collect all magazines with him in or on the cover.
I seem to get the same vibe from my friends as some of you, saying they don't want to hear your talk of The Bo. My friend Bonnie is the same way. She got me hooked on him, by telling me to watch Labyrinth, so it's her fault and she endures my rambling anyway. hehe My sister actually accepts that I like him and helps me look for Bowie things in the flea markets, but she also can't stand me talking about him 24/7.
I think lastly, I have not been to one of his concerts. I'm only 18 and I know that this shouldn't be an excuse, but Bowie supposedly stopped touring in 2006 and I wasn't born in the right era. ^.^;; Poor us...youngins, right?
