His face grew instantly bored as well as his tone of voice. "What makes you think this is a shack? Anways, I'll be more then happy to stick a muzzle on both of you too." He walked closer to Karin and completely ignored Piper and pulled out his pen. He seemed to be studying and recording notes on his board. The man even poked her a bit in an attempt to amuse himself. This girl was no fun because she had no fear over her blindness. What is up with this generation of kids?

Lolly layed in her hospital bed, the only sound was the beeping of the montior beside her. silence, just the way she usually like it. she felt sweaty as she jolted around a little. she was mumbling numbers under her breath, and her head was in some pain. "67844gt3276" she stated mumbling

 Karin was a bit offended by the comment, and even more offended as he was pokeing her. Piper also didn't like the fact that Karin was being poked. Piper made a lunge at Jhon, stealing the pen, and clipboard from him. Piper through the objects away, they suprisingly landed in the garbage. Piper did not like Jhon, nor would he ever. Karin didn't know what was going on, but she new something was going on by sounds. She didn't want to think about haveing lost her eyes. It would cause her pain, and she didn't want that. Piper was in a fighting stance, ready for anything. The dog wasn't impressed with how he was treating Karin, or him self fo that matter.

He seemed completly unfazed and only pulled something from his pocket. It was a bar of chocolate. He unwrapped it and broke a peice off. He held it under Karin's nose, waiting for a response to the familiar smell. Now he wasn't a stalker, words told him. Both in the air and on paper.

((Oops, sorry bout that.)) Karin sniffd the smell. She wondered why she could smell it though. She couldn't ee it, which made all that much harder to guess. She lifted her hand up to her nose, grasping the chocolate bar she tried to take it away from him. Piper stayed where he was, waiting for JACK'S response.

"You can have this, only if you can tell me what you think it is. You'll get it either way. Just one guess and you'll get it." He spoke quietly so any emotion would not be detected. With only a peice near Karin, he held the rest of the bar quite close to it.

((No, I'm confusing a game I'm playing, with the rp. Never read Dracula in my life)) Karin felt it was un fair tha she had to guess, but she took one anyway. She thought long an hard, trying to guess the smell. She new it was chocolate, but would she have to guess what kind? She took a guess. "Chocolate," She said simply. There would be no wrong answer to the question, for it was chocolate, and he didn't ask for what kind. Piper sedled down a bit, but still watching it's surrondings, The dog didn't want to fork over his territory. Or what he felt was his territory.

( What game? And you've never? You should. It's pretty suspenseful but pretty boring at the beginning. So brace yourself if you ever do. )
"Correct. Now, isn't this better then the shock treatment?" His face no longer had the bored look now. He grabbed the hand which was untying the buckles and placed the peice of chocolate in her hand. He even broke off another peice and threw it at the dog. A sign of generiousity mixed in with poison and a dash of rudeness. Digging through the bin, he pulled out the clipboard and yet another pen from his never empty pockets. He scribbled a few notes and took a step back. "Listen to me, even if it will be only this time. I'll give you more then the freedom to walk around your own room, but the whole hospital and even outside. Before you ask anything, yes. There is a condition. You hand the piper to me, so he may lead the rats." His notorious cruelty is showing now, but just a peek.

Karin listend to what he had said. She dropped the peice of chocolate on the floor. "Never in a million years would I give piper up," She said. Piper aggred, by walking passed the chocolate, knowing fully well that it would make him sick. Piper came up beside Karin, intent in protecting her, and him self for that matter. "I would rather stay in this lonely little room, then to have my precious piper taken away from me," She said. She wasn't being all that kind eaither, for if this man wanted her dog, he would have to do a lot more then that. "Even if I did hand him over, and was able to walk around, I can't just move around by sound, touch, and smell alone. I've had Piper seince I was a child, I'm not giveing him to you," She said, her voice had a temper to it.

"Perfect then. You can keep your dog, and you'll have to stay in here. And plausibly, this is a subtle threat." Jack bent down to pick up the two peices together and tossed them both into the trash. He looked at the dog for a moment and decided against whatever he was planning or plotting to do, with a shake of his head. "Welcome to the Hospital and remember, Memento mori." He said as he tossed the rest of the chocolate towards Karin before exitting the room.

Karin through the chocolate into the trash. Even though she had a love of chocolate, she wasn't going to eat it. Especiallly if it was from this scientist. Karin left on her bed, she layed down and started to sleep. Piper jumped on her bed, layed down but stayed full awake. He was makeing sure she was protected. A while later Karin started to breath heavily. Her face was pale. The moniters by her read 102, for tempeture. Her heart rate dropping considerbly fast. Piper glanxcced at the moniters, and then ran to the door. He tried to break it open but it was useless. He started to scratch at it, hopeing someone would pass by.

A small bell alerted Jack of Karin's condition. He jotted down the time and got out of his office and began to walk all the way towards her own room. He entered, hearing the scratches of the dog, he pushed the door enough to hit the dog intentionally. "Interesting. Does she always get this twice a day?" He asked the dog as though the dog actually understood and was a person.

Piper barked. Meaning just help her. The dog it self had grown to know what humans say, but still got things wrong. Piper was bit mad that he was hit, but set that aside and moved up to Karins limp pale body. She groaned in her sleep. Her heart rate was incredibly low, at 40. A criticle state. If something wasn't done to bring her heart rate back up, she would die. And if her fever rose any higher, her body would over heat, and she wouldn't be able to resist it.

Jack looked at the dog and shrugged. He squatted down and looked at it head on. "Come here, I'll teach you a trick. Whenever she's like this, just pull this out." He paused for a moment to retrieve the nurses bell and held it in front of it. "And push it as so. So go and tell those old folks that you can teach an old dog a new trick." He continued on and demanstrated by pushing the little button which lit up after his finger left it. Soon a doctor as well as two nurses came rushing in and was tending after Karin.
He stood in the corner and left them to work. His attention returned to the dog. "She's a special case, so whenever you manage to push that button, they'll just run right on over here."

The dog sat by the mans side, as much as Piper hated to, he couldn't go near Karin, for the assictants would knock him bick. Karins breathing had slowly turned back to normal, her fever had retreated, and was left at a 100. Still a fever, but wasn't bad enough that it wouldkill her. One of the doctors set an icepack over her fore head, while the nurses took the sheets that were covering Karin off her, so she wouldn't ovr heat. Her heart rate moved up to a 90. It was better then the critical condition she was in before. A resperator was set on her mouth and nose, so it was easiar for her to breath. The doctor and nurses left, leaveing the scientist, Karin, and Piper alone in the room. Piper imidiatly ran to Karins side, brng a paw to her hand. He whined a bit trying to wake Karin up. Piper licked Karins hand. Her skin still a bit pale, but had color in it. Karin slowly awoke. Not opening her eyes made he feel sad. she couldn't even cry to show the pain. "Piper," she moaned. "Thank goodness your still here," she said from underneath the face mask.
