It just got me more, even though the quality was rather low. The little dried up tear got me. XD
I would have gone for condom baby's one if Delicates one wasn't up there.

I thought these were really creative.
You really have to think about the pictures in order
to understand the relationship they have with eachother.
I didn't really get anything from Miss Zii's.
I don't know if it was just me.
The rest I could all see what they were doing, but some
I felt were much more thought through.
My top three are aesthetically delicate, condom baby, and HIV.
In no order really.
The way their faces are just provides so much of an explanation to
the object picture, which is basically what I thought the point of this
round was.
I'll think about who I am voted for.

I'm really impressed
With this round's photos
I didn't really get Delicate's though...
I think Miss Zii should have
Been in work-out clothes
Or a in a gym or something
So that it relates more to the object
I can't decide between
triple overdrive
Or THE HIV
Matt's is neat
Because he's sick in the first pic
And it's all sad, dark colours
And the "cure" in the second picture
Is bright, warm, happy colours
THE HIV's is realistic
It's kind of something
That a lot of society,
Especially teenagers,
Can relate to

Not only do the qualities not match up whatsoever,
but I browse deviant a lot and am pretty sure I've seen it before.
If it is yours, why did you use a webcam for one picture, and a good camera for another.
Just wanting clarification. well, since i was really late with my picture to begin with, i didnt have time to take the "object" part of the picture. so i found a related pic online. and not that i really think it matters but, i dont think that there was a rule against finding a relating pic online. and i dont own a digital camera, thats why my pic is taken with a camera phone. and furthermore, if there was a rule against using a pic from offline, then i could have just taken the same exact idea, and taken the pic myself. but as i said i was running way low on time, and i didnt know grilledtofu had stretched the date cause he hadnt been online. and why do you care to even point this out?
Because that means anyone could have taken any picture for the object, and made it amazing. All they would need to do is take a good picture of themselves, which they can obviously do, and steal a picture that wasn't your work in the beginning.
Point is, the assignment wasn't to take a picture of yourself and steal one of your object.
You seem to be the only one who stole another picture to complete the assignment. It's aggravating to see people voting for you because the whole point of your two pictures is the second one, and the first one is of poor quality.
You're getting voted for only because of the second picture, because if it was only the first, people would not have voted for you.
Andd. It should have been damn obvious you had to take the picture because all of the examples by grilled tofu were BY HIMSELF.

I voted for tripleoverdrive, but now that I see this stuff about him taking a picture from online to complete it, I wish I hadn't.
'Cause if his second picture was of the quality of his first, I wouldn't have voted for him.
I would've said something like, "Well, it was an amazing idea, and I definitely see how the person and the object tie in together, but you could've done it a little more artistically."
Or something to that effect.
I'm not sure if taking a picture from online deserves disqualification, but since the second picture isn't his work, I don't think it's fair that anyone use it in determining if they should vote for him.
I think everyone should just make their decision based on the first picture and the idea that connects the two pictures only, and if they feel that those two things are strong enough to get him a vote, then by all means, give him that vote.
But now I wanna change my vote to Aesthetic! X. D:
Because her pictures are artistic and do tie in together, and I assume they're her work.
On another note, HIV, why are you always wrinkling your forehead? :b

i'm not gonna vote this round~ :/
the quality of the pictures are good and i can see where everyone is coming from, but i none of them really pop at me.
i'm also disappointed at all the non-entries.
i scrolled down and there were no more pictures and i was like
what~ ;o;
good job everyone who did take a picture, i could rant about each picture but i'll save you all the annoyance. xD;

I went with The HIV because it is something I can relate to, alot. I thought everyones was good and I had a different relation/feeling with them all but hers really got me.

I don't really think that people who don't have time to take pictures of themselves can very well be called the Top Camwhore anyway.
Isn't that like the whole definition of being a camwhore, spending time taking pictures of yourself?
I'm not saying he should be cut because he doesn't have the time to be a camwhore, and I know this is just a silly little contest, but you know, it's what camwhores do. xD

I'm glad some people like mine....
I was worried people might not get it.
I know the photo is a bit poor quality but our good camera broke and had to be fixed. It's the best shot I could get.
I'm also a bit dissapointed in the people who didn't submit an entry. I sprained my ankle last round and still managed to hobble out into the middle of a field carrying a guitar. sweatdrop Took more effort than expected.
Anyway. I love `condom baby`s out of all the ones this round.

I apoligize for not submitting an entry this round. I was really excited for the theme too.
I just moved out on monday and im still not completely moved in. In fact, the wireless here sucks more than Pamela Anderson, and i left my camera cord at my parents' house. Dx
I must say I do love everyone's entries. I decided to vote for The HIV though. surprised I felt the connection between the two pictures more than the others. i dunno. maybe its just because i struggle with weight insecurities.

First off, it really sucks about the non-entries. Contestants are dropping like flies... Well, anyway. This is fer sure my favourite round so far! I had a really hard time deciding who to vote for. You guys are just awesome at this! My critique is more like a wave of compliments and stating the obvious, but whatevs.
Miss Zii: The actual photography is quite nice (but mind you, I know nothing about photography) because the pictures are clear, bright, and seem to just... blend together. But what you're actually taking a picture of is a little boring and doesn't really scream anything out. The thing is, I can't pinpoint what you could have done to make it better without completely redoing the picture. Still, I did like this one.
triple overdrive: Ack, not so sure about this one. I was going to say I really liked the idea, but perhaps anybody could have come up with it if they saw the second photograph. I don't like the idea of using online pictures, but I understand your reasons. The first photo is cute but I think you could have done more. If you found the second photo before you took the first, I'd say to have used warmer, brighter colours so that it would match the second better. 'Cause one is all... soft blues and browns and the other is popping out with pinks and oranges.
Aesthet!c X: Well done, very well done! Perfectly fits your title with somber shades and plainness, and you really do look like you're "withering" away in the corner. Not much else to say, 'cept that I voted for this one.
THE HIV: This was another favourite. I think your face could have used a little more emotion. The actual idea is really nice, a lot of people can relate to it. I would've liked it if the scale was the same distance away in both, but that's probably just personal preference. Anyway, yeah... all the colours blend nicely and it's just a great job overall.
Condom Baby: Shiiit, that is one sick leaning-to-one-side tree. I like it how you're looking the same direction as the tree is leaning, the black and white, your expression, and (not sure if this was intended or not) the location of the tree (the suburbs?) because it adds to the title for me. This one is a little deeper, I had to think about it a little. And nicely taken photographs, as always.
Aesthetically Delicate: When I first saw the second photo, I definitely thought that white thing was an egg. Is it an egg? Then I thought it might be a rock. But now I'm thinking it's an egg again because eggs + feathers = birds, lolyah? So then I thought about birds, and birds fly to the south, and that works with the title, so you're mourning somebody leaving. I'm not sure what you're holding in the first photo, at first I thought it was a mirror, now I realize it might be a photograph? That make sense. Okay, you just read my entire thought process of figuring out this picture. Anyway! The tear stain... aww, so cute! The white line in the right corner looked kind of odd to me, but I suppose it's balancing out something. I don't really like the angle of the first picture but I suppose it's all right. Good job, overall.
