She raised her eyebrows but decided not to pursue the subject. Glancing at her watch she said, "Probably now-ish, Mr. Wilson's always late for his first hour..."

Cassie ran into the school building. "ahh!! i'm late!!" she opened a random door and poked her head inside, "where is the freshman homeroom?" she asked panting, out of breath.

Isabella looked up at the sound of the young womans shouting. "What a loud person. I kinda forgot how loud school can be." She sighed. "Do all the students at this school make this much noise" She asks Lily.

"Usually not this early," Lily replies with a yawn. "Right next door," she tells the freshman,"just step to your left."

"Hope so..." The teacher finally walks in and starts up class. While he spoke of all the rules Isabella couldnt help but think of this strange girl sitting in front of her.

Lily leans forward in her seat, making a little effort not to lie her head on her desk again. She listens to the infamous never-on-time, your-grade'll-be-approximated Mr. Wilson with half an ear: "I don't mind gum chewing as long as blah blah blah... My policy on late assignments is yada yada...." Strangely, Lily feels this weird prickly feeling as if someone was staring at her intently. Trying to ignore it, she thinks, So.... I wonder where this Isabella chick's gonna fit in. Good for her she doesn't seem like a prep, doesn't look like the nerdy type.... oh well, she'll figure it out soon enough........ Her mind wanders off randomly.

Bing, bing, bing! "Gawd finally!" Isabella moaned. "It feels like its been 5 hours...hey Lilly, do you know where i can find the ap Bio class?"

"Sure, it's in the science hall, wanna walk with me? I'm headed that way." AP, huh? Well, lah-dee-frickin'-dah. She immediately regretted thinking that, it was stupid, especially since she knew she thought it just because she was bitter about being stuck in the "normal" class. "Normal!" Ha! As if everyone else I know isn't in AP... But still, she was on her way to science as well, so might as well show the new kid where she was headed.

Lily found herself raising her eyebrows at Isabella once again, but again, she figured questioning the odd behavior would probably only make it worse. She shrugged in regard to the helpfulness statement, "It's no problem really. I guess it must be hard to be the new kid."

"hmm...Not hard so much as troublesome." She stated completly recovered from her previous troubled state. "I probly could find the class by myself but its easier this way." She sighed. "And its also kinda nice to have someone to chat with."

"I guess that makes sense. Well, this is the science hall. I think AP's one of those two rooms," she said pointing, "Guess I'll catch you later, after class maybe," she added, ducking into the Chemistry I doorway.

"yeah." Isabella walked into the first classroom and asked the teacher "Ap Bio right?" He just noded and motioned to pick a seat. Again she picked the desk in the back in the corner. She sat and thought of this girl Lilly. "I wonder what she was so annoyed with" She thought to herself.

The Chemistry teacher didn't seem that interested in trying to have order on the first day; she passed out syllabuses and then just let the kids talk the rest of the hour. As she made idle conversation with a few of the people she knew in there she thought, I wonder if that Isabella girl is trying to make friends or something like that right now.....

Bing, Bing, Bing! "I should've just done home school...but maybe this day will get interesting." She saw Lilly comming out of her classroom. "I wonder." she thought to herself. "Hey Lilly!" She calls out. "Where do you eat lunch?"
