Because it's sexy and I suppose it's also because it appeals to all the men in the world. Besides that, women have a tendancy to notice that sorta thing and a lot of the women (and girls) are unhappy with their own size so they probably have this whole dream thing going on.
Heh. Sorry if you didn't understand that. I have a weird way of explaining things sometimes. sweatdrop I'm sure Hiei Obsessed would understand every word of that though. Lol.

Krazy Lew happy_thoughts i wanna know why anime charecters are so dag skinny why cant thee be a kinda larg anime charecter or like a large goth (srry off topic never saw a large goth befor) its just.................why? seriouslyyy... theyre always like.. I think that making them skinny makes them more "attractive" and "acceptable" Its stupid because it sets even more standards for our society to live up to X_X, haha Im tryin to sound all smart like... sweatdrop

domokun The anime peeps are always so skinny because people who watch the anime and buy the murchandisey stuff normaly don't find chubby anime peeps as attractive as a skinny anime peeps.

I have seen larger anime characters in Miyazaki's movies. He makes the best movies (At least I think so), and tends to try and mix everything in. He'll put skinny and fat people (But it's sad because they are normally the villains)....

kc_the_alchemist I have seen larger anime characters in Miyazaki's movies. He makes the best movies (At least I think so), and tends to try and mix everything in. He'll put skinny and fat people (But it's sad because they are normally the villains).... I've noticed that too, at least he draws normal people. And they draw anime characters super skinny to, suppose-of-ly, appeal to all men and women...and who wants to see the big fat guy or girl on the screen trying to fight the evil villain or something ?

But some others might be Sesshomaru, the Mega-playboy (from DNA^2), and others that I can't think of right now either. xp
