Since her... Incident with Kotomi and the other popular girls, Nashi hadn't seen much of Momo, and she certainly hadn't seen much of them. She'd been spending her lunches outside, in the courtyard with the other social outcasts, alone. Sure, there were still a few people who would let her sit with them, but they never actually talked to her, she just sat there and listened in. Quite honestly, she prefered a nice conversation with herself after looking around for Momo. Who was she kidding though, there was no chance he still liked her after what had happened, and how awkward their date had been. At the moment, she sat up against an old tree with her knees tucked up to her chest, eating quietly and avoiding eye contact with anyone that walked by.

She normally didn't go to lunch. She studied in the library, or read in her next class...but, today must be 'special'. Shouka had, for some reason, decided to go out and wander outside and entertain herself that way. Her parents were driving her up the wall, so she didn't feel much like pleasing them with study and educational books.
Sighing, she crossed her arms over her chest, light auburn irises focused forward...till she stumbled over something, or rather...someone. Catching herself on the tree, she pushed back...only to fall onto her rear end with a yelp.
"Ah! G-gomen...I didn't mean to.." Bleh, how dumb could she be?

Nashi flinched and slammed her head back into the tree. Her mousey tail shot out, but she quickly backed herself back up against the trunk to calm down. A few days earlier, the tail would have freaked her out, but she knew what it was now, so she just had to hide it from people. With wide eyes, she looked at the person who had tripped over her, shaking her head when she realized the girl was appologizing, "No, no, it's my fault, I shouldn't have been sitting there like that."

She was the one who wasn't paying attention. A light whimper left her, and she rose to her feet slowly...setting a hand just above her rear with the light ache that bit at her.
"..No, really.." She shut up, though, and sighed...giving a light smile soon afterwards. "Are you hurt?" She questioned, looking over the girl quickly for...anything. Blood, scratch, dirt, bump, bruise...though, she had heard the girl's head connect to the tree quite harshly...damnit.

Nashi nodded, and, once checking that her tail was gone, stood. She cast a little look to her upturned lunch on the ground, but quickly forgot about it and smiled. "I'm fine, don't worry about me." She said with a shy smile. Giving a nervous bow, she continued, "My name is Nashi Sukizawa."

"Ah.." She paused, then blinked at the girl..smile fading to a grin. She set out her hand to offer a handshake of 'hello'...very boy-ish, but that wasn't her fault.
"Shouka Ryouken.." She nodded to her in welcome, as well. "Nice to meet you," she added in a murmur, seemingly just as nervous as Nashi was.

Taking the handshake with a bit of a confused look, Nashi then tucked her hands behind her back and offered a weak smile, trying to think of something to say instead of just standing there like an idiot, "Um.. I haven't seen you around before, 3rd year?"

"Fourth," she spouted, now a bit more comfortable around Nashi for some reason. She seemed to click easily with people, which could be good or bad...
"I dont come to lunch often--" She glanced around for a moment, most of the other students didn't even bother to give them a second glance. Just a 'how weird' look or expression here and there. Yep, Shouka was weird. She had a more boy-ish look to her...her short hair and way she held herself proved that easily.

(( She'd be 3rd year, 6th grade is part of elementary school ))
Nashi tugged the sides of her yellow hat down, then smoothed out her skirt. She wore the short version of the uniform, and it seemed like this girl did too, so that was something. "I'm a 2nd year, 8th grade myself."

Dulcea (( She'd be 3rd year, 6th grade is part of elementary school )) Nashi tugged the sides of her yellow hat down, then smoothed out her skirt. She wore the short version of the uniform, and it seemed like this girl did too, so that was something. "I'm a 2nd year, 8th grade myself."[] Whoa, that confuses me. A lot. o_o Sorry. From your PM I thought she'd be fourth...but, okay, works for me. xD; [] Lord knew why she wore the short uniform. She brought her hand to play with a necklace that was tucked under her uniform collar...a canine head, silver in color, and sapphire eyes. Yeah, she was very male-ish.
She nodded to this, and would move to slowly stand beside her, glancing down.."Didn't mean to ruin your lunch--" She motioned towards the food on the ground, "I can buy you something else..?"

(( Yeah, I mixed the two together, sorry about confusing you, realized after I sent it and was like, well crap. x_x ))
Looking back toward her lunch, Nashi raised her hands up and shook her head, "Don't worry about it, I had a big breakfast, my dad went into work late this morning so I made breakfast for him."

She smiled at the mention of Nashi's father, and nodded as if she understood. She didn't, of course, but that was a different story.
"I'll have to buy you lunch some other day, then." She had a bad guilty conscience, so Shouka would bug the crap out of poor Nashi till she let her buy her the food. **

She smiled, and came up with a compromise, "How about, you can buy me lunch sometime if I can make you lunch sometime?" It was a good way to make friends, she was a good enough cook, and like the girl said, she didn't go to lunch much. **

A sigh left her...another day, another boring seven or so hours of school. She brought her hand up to run into her short blonde hair, sitting on campus--probably ditching a class or two. She was just sick of it, since she knew most of what was taught...daily.
It got irritating.
She glanced around, wondering where that one girl she had known not to long ago went...it had been a while since she had run into her, so she figured it was just a one-time meeting.
