As he looked away he could feel her eyes on him, it made him turn into a darker shade of pink. He tried to ignore it and only turned to normal color when she started to speak. He listened to all of her words but did not reply. He merely stood there acting like he cared, he watched her as she jumped from one conversation to another. She began to talk about traveling all alone, trying to make him feel guilty if he left her. With Hideki there was no such luck! He looked at her with dull eyes and with a little boredom on his face. He realized what he was doing and stopped making reactions. Yet she finally said something that interested him, even though he knew it was sarcasm he was going to pretend not to comprehend. He tilted his head to the side and gave a look of concern. It was all an act but it didn't matter to him as long as it worked. He placed Aki back on the ground and stood straight up.

"Uhm… alright if you insist." He said to her with a soft voice but it vanished once he looked down to his Vulpix.

"Aki let's go!" He said and began to sprint quickly away, so she wouldn't catch up. At first Aki was confused but obediently followed him. She could run faster then him so she soon caught up and was in front. After two minutes of pure movement Aki and Hideki were slightly out of breath. He hadn't ran that fast since was in school as a child. He leaned forward on his knees and took in large gasps of air. His heart beating in his ear, and sweat rolled down his face. He didn't know exactly where he was, but it didn't matter as long as she was far away.

"I think it's safe now." He said swiftly looking around him; searching if she had followed them. It didn't seem like it so he sat on the ground and relaxed a bit.

Mimi was totally caught off guard by that one. But before she had time to figure out what just happened, Hideki was gone. Not only was she upset and baffled that her little reverse-psychology didn't work, but she was now angry that he would just leave her like that! It was like he was just waiting for the okay to go!

"Grr, he's still a JERK!" Mimi kicked at the ground. Bulbasaur just let his master vent, not wanting to get involved and accidently hurt by some crazed-little-girl-tantrum. But Mimi was only angry for a couple of seconds. Suddenly, she calmed down and looked like she was thinking about something. She voiced her thoughts out loud:

"It's okay. It doesn't really matter that he's gone now. We're traveling to the same place, so I'll definitely see him again." A mischievous grin appeared on her face. "I'll make sure of that..."

Immediately after that, Mimi was her cheerful self again. She looked down at Bulby with a bright smile. "Let's work hard today! We'll catch new Pokemon and train you and Pidge and any others we might catch today really good, kay?"

Before they could go off training, however, Mimi looked around and noticed she still needed to clean up from last night. Her sleeping bag was still out, as well as a few things from her bag. She also realized she'd need to freshen up a bit; her appearance was still a little less than perfect. She set to work immediately, folding up her bag and fitting it neatly inside her bag with everything else. She took out her brush and ran it through her hair once before tying her hair back up in it's usual half-ponytail in the back. Since there were no streams or brooks around, Mimi used a bit of water from her water bottle to wash her face. Once she looked presentable, she flung her bag onto her back and looked at Bulby.

"Shall we go, then?"

As she walked around, taking in her surroundings - which was much easier to do and a lot less scarier during the day - Mimi realized the Viridian Forest was chock-full of tall patches of grass. In fact, there was very little path to walk on. Whatever path there was seemed to wind around in every which way; it was probably a very long, confusing trail leading to the exit. But Mimi wanted to explore the grass in order to find new Pokemon as well as battle wild Pokemon. Since it was so easy to get lost, she made sure this time not to stray too far away from the path, but just enough that she could still find her way back.

Because the forest was so confusing, Mimi speculated that trainers would often lose some valuable items when they come through. Mimi luckily stumbled upon a spare pokeball in one area and a potion in another. Since there was no one around, she assumed them to be long forgotten and tucked them away in her bag as her own.

As she was picking up another item, an antidote this time, Mimi happened across a Pikachu standing on a tree branch and trying to reach an apple. She repressed the urge to squeal, afraid that it might run away. Instead, she made the Pikachu known to Bulbasaur and asked him to use a tackle attack against the tree in order to knock the little electric Pokemon off the branch. Bulby nodded in understanding and ran head first into the tree, hitting it hard. That was sure to leave a bruise later...

The tackle was successful in knocking Pikachu off of the branch. It looked a little dazed at first, not knowing what just happened. Mimi took the opportunity to attack. She had Bulby use a leech seed attack - a signature move it seemed, when she wanted to catch a Pokemon. Pikachu was all tangled up with it's energy being sapped. Mimi used this opportunity to throw a pokeball at it.

It was a close call, but she managed to snag the Pikachu. She allowed herself a moment to "jump for joy" before releasing the newly caught Pokemon. It still looked a bit confused, but Mimi picked up the apple it was trying to eat before she attacked it and handed it over to Pikachu. It seemed more than happy about that, taking one huge bite out of it. Mimi patted its head lovingly and recalled it back to its pokeball once it had finished the apple.

With a new addition to her team, Mimi set off again, looking for more wild Pokemon she could battle or capture.

Before catching anymore Pokemon, Mimi wanted to be sure that Pidge got some training in. She hadn't battled with her flying-type at all since catching her and she was only at level 4. Mimi may have been new at Pokemon training, but she knew her basic type match-ups at least (she did pay attention in school once in a while). She knew her Pidgey would be a big help getting through the Viridian Forest, and she wanted to make sure she got sufficient training.

"Bulby, I want you to take a rest in your pokeball for a while," Mimi said, getting out Bulby's pokeball from her bag. "Thanks for all your help yesterday and today, but I think it's time to let Pidge out for a while." Bulbasaur seemed to have no problem with taking a rest and gladly went back into his pokeball. Mimi pulled out Pidge's pokeball next and released her. Pidge seemed happy to be getting some fresh air and exercise; she took a minute to fly around a few nearby trees and back.

"Kay, Pidge, we're going to do a lot of training today. So give it your best, okay?" Pidge nodded and the two set off into some more tall grass where they found a lot of bug Pokemon. Pidge had a knack for battling, and her type-advantage helped her take down her opponents easily - though not as easily as it would have been if she had known a Gust attack. But Pidge wouldn't learn that until level nine. Still, she managed to take down a Caterpie and a Weedle and gain another level. After that level, Pidge was definitely a lot stronger and more confident in herself. She took down a Metapod and a Kakuna after that, gaining her one more level.

Pidge was too tired to train anymore after four battles in a row, and Mimi could see that. She rummaged through her bag, remembering she had picked up a potion that had been lying around in the grass. Mimi gave Pidge the potion, which regain her health just a little. But she seemed to feel better enough afterward that she wanted to continue training. If this kept up, Mimi thought, they might just have to head back to Viridian City and re-visit the Pokemon Center.

To avoid having to do that, Mimi recalled Pidge to her pokeball, promising to let her back out soon. She let Bulbasaur back out of his pokeball, since she enjoyed his company so much. For the time being, Mimi thought it best to leave the other two in their pokeballs until it was time to battle. That way, they wouldn't get too comfortable being outside all of the time. That could be a problem in the future with a full party of six, after all. Together, Mimi and Bulbasaur continued roaming through the tall grass. Having trained Pidge sufficiently for the time being, Mimi hoped to find a Caterpie that she could capture.

((...I wanted to catch a Male Pikachu to eventually breed with a Clefairy...but we already pretty much have the same pokemon, just in opposite genders...you know what, no, I'm going to use that as a reason for our characters to meet! Time to make Flora fall in love with Bulby...))

Flora happily skipped along the forest trail, stopping for a second to pick a perfectly formed wild daisy with a vine from under her cape. She lifted the flower up to her nose, inhaling the sweet aroma. Her ears twitched, the wind was going to pick up soon, she could feel it. Mistral presumably felt it too, and knowing he would lose control if he continued to fly, perched onto Aisumaru's right shoulder, causing a few strands of slivery hair to fall onto the ground and sharp talons to dig slightly into Aisumaru's thick jacket.

The wind came just a second after both pokemon were prepared, carrying with it a potion that was heading straight for the back of Aisumaru's head. He felt it coming, and turned around, lifting a hand to catch it. However, it was Flora's other vine that caught the potion, putting it neatly into Aisumaru's bag. Aisumaru's attention was on making sure Flora put the potion in correctly, and as Flora fastened the bag shut with some difficulty, another potion struck Aisumaru's gut, causing him to stumble back, only to trip over and antidote. That, in turn, caused the trees above him to shake more than they already had, a Pokeball falling out of a Pidgey's nest and hitting his forehead.

"I'm not a pokemon!" Aisumaru yelled, followed by muttering a string of "colorful language" under his breath. Flora put the other potion and antidote into his bag as well, going into a bush after the Pokeball, which she kicked into Aisumaru's bag. As she lifted her head up out of the bush, a Bulbasaur caught her eye, one that was cheerily celebrating a pokemon catch with his blonde trainer. He was practically radiating confidence, bravery, and friendliness, all traits of which Flora envied. A light dusting of pink colored her green cheeks, as she reached out to tap the Bulbasaur's shoulder with one vine and offered the daisy with the other.

(That's too funny, and cute! And I actually was going to make ChuChu a girl at first, but then I thought it might be better as a male. I guess you should get next pick then on genders. Let me know what you next Pokemon will be/what gender you want for it then. Oh and we are free to meet up now anyway. We won't meet up with Hideki again until Pewter City. But I made a thread for us in the OOC forum to talk about all that)

___◊___◊___◊___◊___◊___◊___◊___◊___◊___◊___◊___◊___◊___◊___◊___◊___◊___◊___◊___◊___◊___◊___◊___◊___

Bulby was caught off guard by a gentle tapping sensation. He turned around to see another Bulbasaur behind him. Mimi was still looking around for a Caterpie to capture, and was starting to wander off, unaware that her Bulby was not at her side. Bulby was sure that this other Bulbasaur belonged to a trainer nearby. There were no grass-types (surprisingly) in the Viridian Forest, only bugs. But what really struck him was that this Bulbasaur was a female.

Bulby was now torn between staying and talking to his female counterpart, who was standing there offering him a daisy with a distinct pink flush on her green cheeks, and his master, who continued to wander off, further and further from view. After a quick mental calculation, he decided that Mimi had two other perfectly able Pokemon to protect her if anything happened and that he would certainly be able to catch up with her later, if she didn't wander back trying to find him first. But, leaving this Bulbasaur just standing there, flower in her vine, would be quite rude.

Bulby smiled, taking the daisy with his own vine and bringing it to his nose. It was a beautiful flower, in perfect condition.

"Bulba, Bulbasaur," he said, presumably a 'thank you.' As a Pokemon, he seemed content with skipping the introductions, as his name was given to him by his trainer and most Pokemon in the wild have no need for nicknames and still get along just fine. But Bulby couldn't help but wonder why this Bulbasaur had stopped to meet him, instead of heading back to its trainer. As far as he was concerned, he didn't have any striking qualities that he knew about. But having spent most of his life in Prof. Oak's lab, he hadn't had too much interaction with the opposite gender, so what would he know anyway? And that question led to another: Was this Bulbasaur from Oak's lab as well? He certainly hadn't met her before...

Bulby had a very sincere, humble way about him, however. While he saw this Bulbasaur's actions as very kind, he didn't think too much more into it. Mostly because he never really thought about female Pokemon that much. At the present time, what mattered most to him was Mimi - protecting her and seeing her happy. I suppose, you could say, he was oblivious? The fact that this Bulbasaur's face was turning slightly pink puzzled him.

"Bulbasaur, Bulba, Bulba." He kindly handed the daisy back to her, as if he had thanked her for allowing her to smell such a pretty flower. Not knowing that the flower was intended for him, he had told her she should keep it, as it suited her nicely.

Once Hideki caught his breath and was once again ready for some training he brought out his Caterpie who was a lot more tired then Aki. She looked at the pokemon but didn't react much more then that. She merely sat there by Hideki's side and watched both of them. He took a potion and decided he would use it on Sora and sprayed the medicine on the pokemon. Instantly Sora felt better and had more HP then before and twirled around happily. Hideki returned the pokemon back into it's ball and then walked into the thick grass with Aki. She searched for some wild pokemon, but they couldn't find any strong enough to challenge. Yet something else happened that intrigued Hideki with some interest. He smirked for he was facing another trainer, and not Mimi but one he could make cry. It was trainer number one to him; this was going to be the first of many victories for him. That's how he felt at least, Aki was prepared and standing ready for the other trainer to bring out his pokemon. It ended up being a Caterpie and Aki had the advantage in this battle. Hideki commanded an ember and out came bursts of flames. Taking almost half of the HP it had, but it wasn't down yet, it attacked with a tackle. Aki took it and didn't move from her spot. It didn't take much damage so Hideki continued with the fire attacks, and the Caterpie fainted. The next one was a Weedle, it shot a poison sting and it hit Aki. She used ember once Hideki said to, and it burned the Weedle. It shot a string shot but Aki broke free and used another ember. It fainted like the pokemon before it. The trainer was upset and gave Hideki the money he won. He was so happy he smiled at Aki who in returned smiled back.

"Good job!" He said and then returned her for he wanted to train Sora for awhile. He looked through the grass and out came a Pikachu. It was cute and cuddly like Hideki had imagined but he wasn't interested in capturing one. Instead he used it to train Sora; he threw the pokeball and out came Sora ready for the battle. The ball came back to him and he caught it with ease. He told Sora to tackle the Pikachu which he did, but it was extremely stubborn and wouldn't go down. It released a thunder shock, it hit but and Sora took the damage, Hideki commanded to release a string shot and do a quick tackle. It worked and the Pikachu fainted and Sora gained some experience. The next opponent for Sora was a Pidgey. Sora was extremely scared, but Hideki knew it didn't know any flying type moves yet. So he thought this was an opportunity to allow Sora to get over his fear. That little worm was terrified of the bird in front of him but with Hideki's guidance he felt slightly better. At the end of the battle the Pidgey had hit Sora twice with a tackle and took a bit of HP. Then something suddenly happened, Sora was releasing a white liquid from his mouth, and it in cased him into a cocoon. Before Hideki's eyes Sora had evolved into a Metapod. It looked at it's trainer with dull eyes, no longer could Hideki see the happy Caterpie, now it was in it's shell. Never the less Hideki was thrilled and returned his freshly evolved pokemon with excitement in his heart.

That statement only cause Flora to blush a deeper red, but she shook her head and gently nudged the flower back towards him. "Bul, Bulbasaur," she protested, letting her vine slide back under her cape. She looked downward shyly as she tried to think of something more to say, her left forefoot gently rearranging the soil beneath it. Lost in her anxiety, she failed to notice that it was a rather elaborate heart that was taking shape beneath her foot.

------

Aisumaru was beginning to get worried, when he saw the pokeball roll into his bag, he took it as a sign that Flora would be back soon, and yet she wasn't. He had waited a few minutes for Flora to return, but still, his Bulbasaur was nowhere in sight. He was ready to to start looking for her when a bug catcher challenged him. Mistral and Aisumaru glanced at each other and nodded, this would be a quick battle, they could look for Flora afterwards.

(So cute, a little heart shape in the dirt! Aww...But now what do I do with this flower? lol...Bulbasaur don't really have the means of carrying it around everywhere. Hmm...have to find a place for it)

___◊___◊___◊___◊___◊___◊___◊___◊___◊___◊___◊___◊___◊___◊___◊___◊___◊___◊___◊___◊___◊___◊___◊___◊___

"Bul, Bulba," Bulby thanked her again for the flower. It would be rude then, not to keep it after she insisted. He didn't notice her blush or the heart-shaped pattern her foot created in the dirt, as he was busying himself with finding a place to put the daisy. He found a spot underneath the bulb on his back where he carefully tucked it away. It would be safe there, he concluded. It stayed nicely and you could see the flower. Of course, after a couple of days, he knew it would start to whither, having been separated from its source of nutrition. Then he turned back to Flora (OOC:I'm just going to use the name, whether or not he knows it because "female bulbasaur" is too long and weird to say, and "her" doesn't cut it after a while).

Bulbly was about to explain that it might have been a good idea for the two of them to find their trainers, despite how nice it was for them to meet. But he never got the chance to say anything, since Mimi had already realized her dear Bulbasaur was not by her side and was now wandering around aimlessly shouting his name.

"Bulby!? Bulby!? Where'd you go? Bulby?" she called out. Bulby knew she was probably worried about him. She was fairly close to where they were, but he wasn't surprised that she hadn't spotted him yet. It was hard to find a short, green Pokemon in a patch of tall grass, after all. So Bulby raised one of his vines high, so it was visible above the grass, and made a few waving motions. Mimi spotted the vine right away and ran over.

"Oh Bulby! Don't ever do that again!" She scooped him up into her arms the second she reached him. She went off on how worried she was about him, and yadda yadda...But she paused, just noticing the other Bulbasaur in front of her (as well as the daisy on Bulby). She smiled knowingly. Even though Bulby was oblivious to the loving gesture, Mimi never missed a beat when it came to matters of the heart.

"Oh, so this is why you went off. How sweet!" she squealed with delight. Though she could easily figure out what was going on between the two Bulbasaur, it did take her a few moments to realize that the female Bulbasaur looked familiar. Why hadn't any of them realized it before?

This Bulbasaur had been comforting her after the incident with Hideki the day before. It was no surprise none of them had realized it after all that had happened the day before. But still, if this was the same Bulbasaur from yesterday, then that meant her trainer was...?

(Yeah, I totally ended on a cliffhanger)
PostPosted: Wed Jan 09, 2008 4:30 pm

Aisumaru and Mistral quickly finished off the bug catcher's Caterpie and Weedle as they had expected, raising Mistral to level 7. Aisumaru accepted the monetary award for beating him, P72. Mistral was awarded a congratulatory pat for defeating his first trainer, before Aisumaru remembered that Flora was still missing, even after the battle. "Flora!" Aisumaru called out, walking in the direction he had seen his Bulbasaur disappear. Mistral, feeling the wind having died down, flew into the air and quickly spotted the white cape amongst the long grass, landing on her bulb and waving his wings wildly about to beckon Aisumaru over.

Aisumaru ran over, sighing in relief to see that Flora was safe. He kneeled down in front of her, taking off her cape to treat the small scratches she received when she followed the Pokeball into the bush. Flora shivered slightly, from a combination of the cold and the slight sting of Aisumaru's handmade antiseptic. Aisumaru finally noticed Bulby and Mimi in front of him upon completion of tending to the minor wounds, and spoke, "I see you made it through the night after all. Funny...I was sure you'd get into trouble of some sort..."

___◊___◊___◊___◊___◊___◊___◊___◊___◊___◊___◊___◊___◊___◊___◊___◊___◊___◊___◊___◊___◊___◊___◊___◊___

Right...that's his Bulbasaur, Mimi thought as she forced herself to smile, despite the fairly rude comment. She also forced a small chuckle out of herself, in an attempt to shrug off the comment.

"Yeah, well...here I am. Safe and sound," she said. Better not mention the Beedrill incident. I don't want to be proving any of his assumptions about me. What would that say about the kind of person I am if he was right, and he doesn't even know me!

"So..." Mimi was at a loss for words at this point. Why did she have such awful luck? She was usually a friendly, bubbly person. So why couldn't she meet people who liked her for that? But no...she attracted all the weirdoes for some reason; they were always introverted, snobby, or just plain old jerks. What could she possibly talk about with people like that? But ever true to her nature, she tried to forget the previous remark and put on a bright, cheery smile.

"So! You have a Bulbasaur too! And a Pidgey? Me too! Isn't that neat?" Mimi knew they had at least something in common, and she'd stick to that at least.

"Are you on a Pokemon journey too? I just started yesterday, if you couldn't tell. Oh! I'm Mimi by the way. Mimi Kouyama," she had started rambling again. But, she remembered to throw in her name this time, since she had gotten into trouble for that yesterday. "I come from Celadon City, but I had to come all the way out to Pallet town to see Prof. Oak and get my Pokemon and Pokedex. But that's okay, because I got to see my aunt who I hadn't seen in a long time. Did you live in Pallet Town? Do you know Prof. Oak? What am I saying, everyone's heard of him! He's so famous..." she could have went on (really she could have) but she paused to catch her breath.

"I'm sorry, I'd better stop talking now. I'm probably annoying you, aren't I? People tell me I talk too much, but I don't think so. I don't think anyone can really talk too much! I mean, if you have something to say, you should just say it! That's my motto anyway! But, goodness me! I should still give others a chance to talk! And I haven't even heard your name yet...Do you have one? Wait, what I am saying? Of course you have a name!" Mimi giggled as she started fumbling over all of her words. Yeah, she was back to her usual self...

"So? What is your name?"

Aisumaru was amazed that someone could fit that many words into a breath, and continue talking that long without a response. Aisumaru wasn't a people person, but he could read people easily and knew the girl was annoyed with his rude comment...and that she was trying to hide something, she seemed to have gotten in trouble after all. "Aisumaru Namikaze...you would make a good singer. Or woodwind or brass player...that's an amazing lung capacity you've got there. May I ask how you managed to do that? A larger lung capacity would really be beneficial to both of my pokemon. I'm a breeder, so yes, I care." Aisumaru forced a smile, attempting to be friendly. The girl practically radiated joy and happiness, but there was something under that...that of a hurt girl, wanting to prove herself to the world. That was the side that he felt a strange, uncharacteristic urge to help.

Aisumaru heard a stomach rumble from over where Mistral was standing on Flora's bulb, which was covered with the white cape once more. Mistral gave a sheepish grin, as if to ask for lunch. Aisumaru shot Flora a questioning glance, and she nodded in response. "Very well then, would you care to join us for lunch?" Aisumaru started mixing the batter for pokemon food, following exactly the same recipe as in the morning. He had some variations he wanted to try, but first he needed a day's worth of results to go by.

Mimi chuckled sheepishly. "Heh, thanks! I do like to sing actually. My mother said I had a lot of potential - that I could have been famous. And with my dad's status, I don't doubt it. But Pokemon are my passion. So, I just sing for fun." Mimi was surprised, to say the least. She didn't think this boy would actually complement her on talking so much. She expected a more...irritated reaction. But Mimi was glad that he had surprised her. Otherwise, the conversation could have taken a worser turn.

But her thoughts were interrupted when Aisumaru mentioned lunch. She hadn't even had breakfast this morning, so she was a bit hungry. In fact, now that she thought about it, she didn't actually have any food on her. She had eaten the small meal her aunt had packed her for dinner yesterday and she didn't stock up on anything in Viridian City.

"I'd love to have lunch!" Mimi exclaimed. As she waited for him to prepare the meal, Mimi decided to find out more about this boy.

"So...Aisumaru Namikaze?" She said slowly, making sure to pronounce it right. "That's a long name. But it sounds pretty." The name seemed to fit his appearance well. Mimi had never seen anyone with hair as light as his. It was a silvery-white, and he kept it shoulder-length. Aisumaru's eyes were light as well, almost like an icy blue color. Mimi concluded that his appearance altogether seemed very icy, especially since he came off as being a cold person. But having talked to him, Mimi could see that wasn't so. He wasn't really a jerk...unlike some other people.

"But you're a breeder right?" The 'but' at the beginning of her sentence actually referred to Mimi's thoughts about his icy appearance. She hadn't actually said her thoughts out loud, but having just thought of them, the 'but' kind of rolled off her tongue. She didn't know anything about breeding really, but from the little she did know and from the way it sounded when Aisumaru mentioned it, it seemed to her that breeders would be really "warm" people.

"So, you're not a trainer after all," Mimi said, sounding slightly dejected. She just sighed and watched as Aisumaru mixed some batter. She scrunched up her nose, making an unpleasant face and hoping that wasn't their meal.

"Um, what are you making exactly?"

"Pokemon food. I find the store bought kind to be incredibly lacking. Speaking of which, do you know your pokemon's tastes? I know Mistral here really seems to dislike bitter foods, so if he were to share with Flora, well...he's going to be an angry Pidgey. Oh right, is there anything in particular you'd like for lunch?" Aisumaru asked, splitting the batter for his own pokemon into two parts, adding a few drops of Rawst berry extract and a Vitamin A supplement to one for Flora, which he poured into a mold and put onto a rack over the fire Mistral had started as Aisumaru prepared the batter. It was still a small fire, but Mistral was gently fanning it with his wings and through a few sticks into it.

Aisumaru then started on Mistral's portion, dropping in a bit of Cheri berry extract, some crushed soybeans, and Vitamin C and K supplements. As Flora's Pokefood began to rise and become rather puffy, Aisumaru reminded himself to lessen the yeast the next day. They slowly began to solidify, so Aisumaru flipped them over so that the bottoms would not burn and the top portion would not be undercooked. "Flora, get us some more water. There was a spring not so far back. You may want to take that other Bulbasaur with you, there will be more people, so fill the bucket up fully rather than half-empty like you usually do," Aisumaru told her. Flora's food was now done, and Aisumaru emptied it into her bowl, pouring Mistral's food into the mold and allowing it to cook, taking the time to gently polish his egg.

"Bul," Flora nodded, climbing into Aisumaru's bag to pull out a collapsible bucket. She shot a questioning look at Bulby to ask if he wished to come along or not.

"Oh, my Pokemon?" Mimi didn't really know what her Pokemon's tastes were (OOC: I actually do, but Mimi wouldn't know). She wasn't a breeder after all. But she figured they were probably hungry, so she pulled out her two other pokeballs and released Pidge and ChuChu.

"I don't really know what kind of food they prefer. And I just caught ChuChu only about an hour ago, I guess. He seemed to like apples though..." Mimi recalled how happy ChuChu was when she gave him the apple earlier.

"As for me, well, I'll eat anything that's not Pokemon food," she said. Though, she did admit that the Pokemon food looked good now that it had been fully-cooked.

Meanwhile, Bulby was more than happy to go off and fetch some water with Flora. It would be pretty dangerous for her to go off alone in a forest full of bug Pokemon. Though, Bulby couldn't help but think that Flora was a lot stronger than she looked. Bulby looked at Mimi before heading off, who gave him a small nodded and an encouraging smile, indicating that it was okay for him to leave. Bulby nodded back and walked with Flora, gently taking the bucket from her and carrying it with his own vine, like any gentleman would do.

Once they were out of sight, Mimi turned her attention back to Aisumaru, who had pulled out a small pink, oval-shaped object with a heart on it. Mimi had never seen anything like it, but it looked to her like a big egg. It must have been very important to Aisumaru, since he handled it with care. It looked well-polished, so he must have done this often.

"What is that, you've got there?" Mimi asked with child-like curiosity.
