Hristis hi everybody! smile i'm hristis, 20 years old and i love fantasy of all (okay, almost all) kind. i will join my first larp this year (mist my last chance becuase i had to work that week - i already had the costume xp ). i also like to visit medieval markets like we do have quite a lot here. what else? i love martial arts (doing it since 6 years), reading, drawing, hiking, yoga, cinema, pc and something good to eat. my next projects are learning surfing and finishing my novel A novel? Neat smile . Are you posting it anywhere for the general public to read, or will you have it officially published through a company firtst? I'm trying to post some of my short stories I wrote in high school on a blog, but it's difficult for me to find the time.

my name's the darkone15...im a anime nerd(kinda)...i love naruto, bleach, and one piece.
im 15(soon to be 16 in dec)
i currently trying to learn japanese and their culture
i can draw good and i draw lot's of comics
and i love videogames...like sonic the hedgehog^_^
i made up a story in my journal(read and comment please)
anything else....i enjoy a game of yugioh...

Yup, so I'm Wonderfool, and I'm most definitely a geek. I'm 18 and currently a freshman in college. :D
I love anime/manga. Some of my favorites are FLCL, Lucky Star, Claymore, Minami-ke, Noir, Hellsing, Mai Otome, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, and Black Lagoon. I have two Magic TCG decks, but it's been a while since I've played since I can't find anyone else who does. I play a MUD online called MUME, based on the LOTR. I'm obsessed with most things Sci-fi/Fantasy, it's my favorite genre of books/tv/movies. My two favorite TV shows are Stargate and Battlestar Galactica. I'm also a bit obsessed with weapons; I've trained with nunchucks and the bo staff.

Hullo, I'm Quagga. I was sort of raised to be a geek by an artistic mother and a dad with a love of reading and scifi. Along the way I discovered writing (Still working on those novels, but I've recently slipped into the realm of short story and fanfiction), crocheting (it is my life) and Renaissance Festival performance. The only thing dorkier than going every weekend is getting paid a buck fifty an hour to work there.
Anyway, that's me.

I dont attend Geek Con because I live to far away from it.

Hello. I'm fellow geek Estibon21. I enjoy reading and making fun of bad movies. Lately, though I saw a good movie, I'm sure you all know it, the Golden Compass. I have not read the book, and I really want to. Is the movie very true to the book, those of you who have read it? (Please don't give away anything major!)

I've heard the title is actually misleading. Initially, the name for the book trilogy was tob "The Golden Compasses." But since the cover art on the original British novel shows the main character's device as looking like a compass, the American publishers renamed it from "The Northern Lights" to "The Golden Compass." {gotta thank Wikipedia for that info smile }
Not that any of that has to do with the movie sweatdrop . I really want to see it, too. Although my roommate wants to see it, I'm afraid to go see it with her, since she's strongly Christian, and the movie has caused a lot of controversy.

No prawns, they give me gas. That's whats them BABIES is for! ...but enough about my hobbies. I'm Kat, your local Madisonian psychotic cross-dressing hobo girl. Those in anime club probably know me as "that loud girl with her hair in a bun," "that loud girl who randomly jumps into other people's conversations," or possibly "that zombie chick. Y'know, the loud one." Background: I come from an enormous family, easily over 100 cousins, and not a single other person in it is a geek or even anything remotely close. I also grew up in a small town in mid-Wisconsin that had absolutely no geeks whatsoever in it. I survived childhood by reading every last book in the school library's fantasy/sci-fi section and by running around looking enthusiastic during gym class while making sure that I was nowhere near the ball. I realized I was a geek almost immediately after coming to college, and began working hard to make up for twenty years' lost time. If you start geeking out about some anime/movie/game/whatever at me and I give you a blank, confused stare, don't worry, it's not that I'm not interested, it's that I haven't yet had time to watch/do/play it yet. Superpowers: Utter nonsense, ability to lick own tongue, cheese. Fandoms: Online comics, Invader Zim, virtually every modern fantasy/sci-fi/horror novel ever, vampire stuff, vampire-slayer stuff (I cheer for both sides), bad horror movies, unnecessary gore, Marvel junk (mostly Spider-Man), pirates like whoa in the face, Storm Hawks, anything by Neil Gaiman or Terry Pratchett, fanfiction, twisted fairy tales, slash pairings that should never be, steampunk, Trigun, Hellsing, Parasyte, Pet Shop of Horrors, stuff involving death-mutants-armageddon-demons-superpowers-angst-psychological-breakdowns-or-any-combination-of-the-above. Inordinate love of zombies. Anti-fandoms: Girly stuff, mostly. Romance and junk. Whoever decided that all chicks like chick flicks needs to get eaten inna face by a zombie. Unless it's a zombie chick flick. Then it's okay. I also like musicals.

I'm Kinser.. I'm old and i'm into everything Geek. Love my anime, love my games probably too much. Right now if it was Leagle i'd probably marry mass effect then diforce it and demand some kind of compensation. XD
