"For the majority of this day as well as a few others, I've been yelled at by my instructors, and I have harmed those I was trying to heal. I am not an adequate healer, your majesty. And I think I might be able to learn and do more inside the vale, where I belong."
Silversnow was very tempted to speak up, but he still refrained from doing so. He could easilly talk to her on the road while they traveled. This was more of a private discussion than one that needed to be held in front of the Queen of Valdemar.

Fern looked sympathically to the young one in front of her.
Learning is never an easy road and often there are pitfalls and moutains in one's way. However, if you have persistance to overcome those obstacles the reward far outweighs the hardship of the journey. As for your teachers I am willing to talk to them personally for you. As for the patients I can't really be much help there. Again, this is your decision so I won't force you choose either way but I do want you to consider coming back when you feel ready.

Silversnow was glad that Valdemar had such an intelligable queen. The trip here was far worth the trouble of the travel.

You are lucky to have such a brother. I have a brother as well, a Healer, but he stations himself in far off villages that desperately need Healers.
While she had been involved in the conversation Fern had been nibbling on the food that was brought. Slowly, most of the food was disappearing.

Silverleaf just assumed that through out the entire commotion, the queen had worked up a healthy appetite. "I think it best to leave once the Healer's Collegium is put back together. I would like to help with that, if I may."

In that case I'll let the two of you get some rest and as soon as you are feeling up to it we'll take you up on your offer to help clean up here.
The queen said while polishing off the last bit of food. She had been the only one eating but she assumed that her guests had been sharing when she wasn't paying attention.
Meanwhile, I'm going to catch up with my husband to see what he has discovered.

Silverleaf giggled and nodded. She gently grabbed Silversnow by the wrist and led him out and into the Healer's Dorms where they could get some sleep.
