Ian laid in his bed, sound asleep. He breathed deeply and slowly, causing his unclothed chest to slightly raise and lower. He tried to roll into a more comfortable position, but he couldn't really move at all, causing him to stir. He opened his eyes and found that he was completely tangled in his thin black sheet, which snaked it's way around and between his legs, over his shoulder, around his neck, then over the other shoulder, finishing up underneath his back.

"What the hell?" he asked groggily, his free right hand rubbing his eyes. He struggled for a moment, but the blanket only seemed to get tighter against his skin. "s**t...okay...one, two...THREE!" He finally made one last effort, hurling himself off of the bed and he fell face-first onto the floor, the mostly unraveled blanket piling on top of him. He got up with a slight grunt and stretched. "What a way to start the day..." he murmured, walking out to the bathroom.

After he used the bathroom, he took a hot shower and put on a see-through white button-down silk shirt, with white pants. He always wore a lot of white because the color seemed to suit him well, even though his favorite color was actually black. He then entered the kitchen and looked into the fridge. Unfortunately, it was empty, except for half a jug of expired milk and a jar of jelly. "I guess I'll be going to the store..." he said with a hefty sigh and a rumble of his stomach as he closed the fridge door. Finally, he grabbed his keys and walked out the door, locking it behind him. He then started walking down the street.

((As of right now, the thread is under maintenance. RP can still coninue, but there are two reasons:
1. I'm deleting White because I don't feel I can have him relate directly to the other characters. This forces my forum moderator characters into prominence which is not at all my intention.
2. Whether or not Usa is remaining in the RP is currently questionable since she hasn't replied for nearly a month, so Dark may potentially be deleted as well.

I will soon have a new character up who will be capable of interacting sufficiently with others and Luce and Edgar shall be in the shadows as they should be.

(Sorry I wasn't posting, I'll start checking more often. Finals time is hell)

Dark pouted. He could have argued, but he knew no matter how he wanted things to change everyday, Luce wouldn't. He leaned out the window, chin resting on it, showing his pout, "Can't I nap in the back, mommy? It gets cold on the roof." Being slightly sarcastic was in his nature, but one thing he didn't like to do was ride on the roof. The whole chocolate family had done it to him before... and he was not going to drink Mexican water again, also known as tequila.

He got out of the driver's seat and crawled into the back, rolling down the window in the back and sticking his head out, adjusting his goggles, "OK! I'm ready!"

[ ah, well, at least i haven't missed too much xD ]

Morning. Really it was no one's favorite time of the day, to say the least, and that reality held true for the one particular chocolate; Raspberry. He was affectionally called Ryouji instead, however, since they were all given human names as well. Whichever he was called, the male didn't mind. He never would get too pent up on these kind of issues. Raz, as he was also nicknamed, yawned as he pulled himself, hesitantly, out of his nice, lavish bed, and ran a hand through his bright maroon locks. They had fared quite well through the nite, and a simple movement of running his fingers through his locks combed them back into flawless place. Raz rubbed his sapphire eyes slowly before he pulled on a pair of boxers, and then pajama pants, before walking down the stairs of the shared home and into the kitchen. With a glance to the clock he blinked in a spot of..confusion. it was actually pretty late. Well, if mid afternoon was late.

Raz opened the door to the fridge, tapping his chin in silent ponder to wonder what it was that he wanted for breakfast. He had never been that much of a chef, and was very simplistic. So, he grabbed the milk, a bowl, and his cereal, all of the ingrediants for something at least he could handle.

((Caramel... Cary? Mel? 8D;;; *thinking of possible nicknames* It's harder for the Chocolates with longer names... might just have to end up calling him Liam. 8D;;; ))

But, of course, it wasn't morning -- at least not as far as Caramel was concerned. He'd been up for quite the while, had bathed and eaten and done various chores around the (very large) house. And it was now lunch time -- though, obviously, for some it would be breakfast time instead. Caramel had already been in the kitchen when Rasberry made his entrance, a light, golden smile forming on the orange-haired youth's lips.

"Morning, Razzmataz," he said, finally placing the top piece of bread over his sandwich. He took the plate of food and glass of milk over to the counter. "Want me to make you a sandwich? I still have the ingridients out...." he offered, his voice good-natured and pleasant. Sure, Caramel was hungry... but Razzy was his brother and his friend and he placeda great importance on that. Where Raz prefered to be sophisticated, Caramel was warm -- both in nature and color -- his eyes soft and his wods and voice pleasant. He really was a very agreeable Chocolate.

He knew that Raz must have just woken for, though the Chocolate looked just as flawless as ever, there was a certain sleepiness in those bright saphire orbs as the older Chocolate rubbed his hand back against his eyes. Besides, it was common knowledge that Rasberry hated mornings.

[ hm. I like Mel or Melly...something like that. As if my character will be saying that anyway. i picked the most stuck up one o____o pfft. ]

Raz had the pleasure of meeting with one of the the most energetic, save for Orange, chocolates in the entire house. And, right as he woke up nonetheless. What a perfect world it was. Really Raz had nothing against the chocolate, and really not against any of them, yet they differed in personality greatly. Raz sighed and couldn't resist a roll of his blue optics as he heard the nickname. He had never liked being called such...silly names, but finally it was -almost- growing on him.

Almost being the key word.

"Hn. Morning Caramel."

He said, using the chocolate's proper name. Raz didn't think he'd be reduced to calling him by a pet name. It wasn't in his nature. Well hey, it wasn't his fault he was created to be so prim and proper. And, he acted ten years older than he already was. Raz sighed as he put the bowl back away, grumbling to himself as he gave a nonchallnt shrug of his slim shoulders. Raz reached over and patted the younger chocolate's head, trying to be agreeable even if the simplest things in the morning could indeed tick him off.

"That'd be nice."

He said in simple answer, and perched himself onto a bar stool as he watched. The other chocolate really was quite kind, and adorable in a sense. Raz knew he'd be quite the stunner when he got older, and laughed dryly to himself. Raz would give a bit more effort to being..pleasant this morning, even if it would be a rare occasion.

((He can soften up! >:[ <3333 ))

True, Caramel was (and always had been) quite energetic -- but his energy, his joy, was not the obnoxcious or loud kind. He had a quieter, kinder sort of energy around him -- as sort of attractive glow of gold that caused others to flock around him. He was almost like one of the Golden Children in an old fairytale -- and perhaps that was where his Father, Edgar, had indeed gotten the idea for the boy.

In response, Caramel had left his own sandwich (he hoped it wouldn't grow too soggy or anything but he really did want to do something for his brother, particularly when the redhead was being so abnormally agreeable). He had quite more than enough ingridiants left to make the other a sandwich -- and after the many years of cooking for his family, he knew all their preferences -- that would perfectly suit the other's tastes. He finished quickly, his handiwork neat and doubtlessly delectable. He set the plate down on the counter next to his own, washed his hands, and put the food away. "Want something to drink?" he asked, hands half-poised on their way to the cabinet that contained the drinking glasses.

Of course, for all he knew his brothers, he couldn't read minds and couldn't tell what Rasberry was thinking -- his own thoughts, however, had strayed across similar lines quite often. Rasberry had always been remarkably attractive, what with his cool, collective manner. The Chocolate didn't tend to say much and when he did his words were concise and to the point -- a traight that, though it could cause problems, Caramel quite admired. Then again, he admired many things about not only Rasberry, but the other Chocolates as well. Perhaps it was this vast appriciation for his companions that allowed him to be on such good terms with all the others.

"Let's see... I think we have milk and some different juices... and, of course, water." He had refrained from offering, specifically, rasberry juice. He knew that with at least some of the Chocolates it could be a rather sensitive subject, though he himself didn't mind it since he quite liked caramel.

[ xDD yes yes. In time >> i always get them stuck in this...evil/sadistic rut though. not this time! *raa* ]

Raz was glad that Caramel wasn't the overly energetic type. He knew that he didn't get on his nerves nearly as much as Orange did, since the mentioned chocolate tended to get on his nerves quite often. Raz had never had a huge temper, in a way, but most of the time no one noticed because he could control it. Sure he had times where he blew up, but most of the time he tried to condense it and act approperiate. Hey, someone needed to be the adult around here since they all seemed to act so childish.

"I'll just grab myself some water."

Raz mused, and allowed the other to eat his own food after he had so graciously recieved his own. Raz was glad that Carmel remembered not to put tomatoes on it, since he couldn't stand they red slices. Raz set down the sandwitch and walked over to the cabinet, brushing his hand over Carmel's head once more before he grabbed the said glass and filled it with ice cold water. Raz was actually feeling quite well that morning, which was almost unthinkable, but he guessed that everyone had their rare moments. Carmel never seemed to get upset at all, come to think of it, or at least he hid it well. The chocolate was so personable, and in some ways Raz was envious. They had all been made differently, speficily, and as much as Carmel was admiring for some qualities, the same could be said about him for the other. Raz took his seat once more, chewing thoughtfully on the bite of sandwitch, which was quite good.

((I get... I don't know. I get stuck in a rut of repeated physical features (pale skin, for starters, and I have like six characters with almost the same hair cuts, like two or three of which having the same hair color and similar eyes 8D;;; ). And my boys are nearly always stubborn in one way or another. 8D;;; ))

Well, to put it bluntly, Caramel hardly ever got on anybody's nerves. He was kind, compationate, sympathetic and practical -- he would listen but he wouldn't patronize others or put them on pedistals. He had a surprisingly clear head and a good, sharp mind to match it. Though he tended to be overshadowed by some of his more pronounced brothers (Orange, Mint and Dark in particular), he didn't seem to mind -- at least most of the time -- though he was often just as equally gifted as they.

He nodded and took his own seat, waiting for the other to join him before he began to eat his own food. It was only common courtessy, after all, and Raz did like it better when greeted with better manners. Besides that, though, Caramel was never really rude, anyway. Caramel bit into his own sandwich, quite pleased with the results. He had tried something a bit different that afternoon (or as different as possible when one had been living for hundred of years already) and found himself pleasantly surprised. It was an odd combination but a good one all the same.

He swallowed and glanced up towards his brother, one pale hand raising to brush back shiny, soft, golden-orange bangs from his honey-colored eyes. "Did you sleep well?" he asked, eyes travelling lightly up the other's features. He liked observing others and had always found Rasberry's features particularly pleasing (perhaps it was because, after gold, red was his favorite color). "Mother was on another rant this morning about how Dark and the others have been leaving dirty laundry out so I thought he might have woken everyone....." the golden child said with a small shrug and a smile. He took another bite of his sandwich, savoring the taste before he swallowed.

[ xD i have the same problem. mine are dark hair [generally], cold in attitude, tan skin, & generally always long hair. funny. at least i can play them well i suspose since i'm so used to it ]

While Caramel could get along with almost anyone because of his already kind temperment, Raz did not have such luck. Since he preferred everything to go his way or at least with some touches of maturity, nothing always could be perfect. So, Raz was annoyed easily, especially by the chocolates that could run around like chickens with their heads cut off. Simply put, Raz liked to try and control things and put everything in order as much as he could, though that never worked out.

Raz was glad that Caramel was respectful of the manners, which made the morning easier for him to deal with. Normally he'd find one of the chocolates nosily eating or throwing food around this way or that, sometimes just out of spite for him. It did get annoying and often that was when Raz would just snap.

"Fine. Nothing too exciting."

Raz said with a small shrug for embellishment. He never really had exceptional sleeps, since there would always be some kind of interruption, though mostly from himself. Raz had sleep problems, thus why he tried to sleep in as long as he could. Raz did catch Carmel's eye, seeing him glancing over to him, yet he didn't mind. Raz didn't consider it rude. There were many a time when he had caught himself drinking in the sight of others, and Caramel's brilliantly colored hair always caught his eye. His brows knitted slightly as he heard Caramel speak about their 'mother' and Dark, and he let out an almost involentary sigh.

"What else do you expect from Dark? I would believe he would do something like that.."

Raz said aloud, more of a mused though though he allowed Carmel to overhear. He let out a small, rather dry laugh at the thought as well. Luce was a good mother, and he had been there with them since as long as Raz could remember. And that, my friends, was a very long time. Raz found nothing strange about having the male as a mom figure, nothing at all. Besides, it was no real secret that Raz preferred males to women hands down. Raz was very liberal in his ways of thinking, no matter how uptight he acted.

((Friday, your men are always sexy. Mine are just like 'lol, I look exactly like this guy next to me ftw!' 8D;;; ))

Caramel had finished his sandwich. He had eaten just as neatly as usual but he didn't usually eat so quickly. He had been hungry, though, and he had woken early that morning. Pale fingers raised to his lips, tongue poking out slightly to lick away the small bit of sandwich crumb that had fallen there. Well, okay, he was mostly neat -- he just had some minor habbits like that that even he himself wasn't conscious of. As the other's eyes caught his own, a slight pink filtered on his lips -- he still smiled back, though, lowering his hand to wipe it on a napkin. It was a little... embarrassing to have someone find out that you had been looking at them, but Raz didn't seem to really mind. That was good at least since Caramel had always liked looking at others -- whether out of attraction or simple admiration he simply liked observing others.

"Mmm, well, I guess that's one of the only things he doesn't change, eh?" the orange-haired teen murmured with a bit of a grin on his lips. His bright amber eyes -- really, humans called them 'hazel' for lack of a more believable term, but they really were gold -- glimmered until his glanced away, hands moving to pick up his plate. He stood up and took his dishes to the sink to wash them, glancing up to Raz as he said, "Just hand me your dishes when you're done, 'kay?"

As for Caramel, the boy really liked Luce quite a lot. He had seen all those mothers in television shows and books and the like and had decided that Luce was much, much better -- more dependable, more pleasing.... And Luce was nicer and better looking, too, though he wouldn't tell his mother-figure the latter since it was a rather inapropriate comment. Really, though, Luce was attractive -- attractive enough that it was surprising that he had never seen the mysterious, fair-haired male with anyone. Well, Luce was the mother figure so perhaps he thought it would scar his "children" if he were to date or... something. And Edgar. Edgar was father, though from the way the two acted together they didn't seem to be... together or anything, which was a bit of a pity. As of late, father had become so... so lonely, closed within his own mind, that having a romantic companion might be just what he needed to pull him out of that terrible mindset....

[ xD this...is true. I can't help myself but make these ridiclously skinny, tall, dominate sexy men xD but i always love your cute little characters. they're adorable :3 ]

Raz took his time, since he had never really been one to rush nor stuff anything down his throat. And he meant that in the most literal sense possible. No, Raz simply took his time, enjoying the food. Why would he rush it when he had all of this time to savor the delicassy that Carmel had whipped up for him? It had been a kind gesture, and Raz really thought of it as rude if he were to devour it without really..experiencing it. He guessed it was just his nature, but he never wanted to be impolite. It was also morning, and so it always took him a small ammount of time to warm up to doing much of anything quickly. Raz took the napkin to wipe at his full, yet pale pink lips, setting the sandwitch down to sip on the ice cold water.

Raz's lips twitched at the corners as he saw the small flush that filtered slowly across Carmel's pale cheeks. Adorable. In reality, all of the Chocolates were nice to look at, and so Raz didn't feel bad for glancing back to him every so often. Yet, on the same token, most of the Chocolates just turned him off due to their highly annoying personalities and so forth. That was the only thing that really set him off. Raz allowed himself the pleasure of a small, yet lovely chuckle as he heard the male.

"I agree."

Raz said, though his response was short and to the point, just as everything else that he did was. Raz never really elaborated on much of anythng, unless it was of high importance. Raz soon finished off the delicious lunch/breakfast sandwitch, and then handed off his plate to Caramel, who had graciously offered to clean up for him. Not that Raz would have minded had he not. The Chocolate often found himself helping their honorary mother, Luce, in the cleaning since he thought of it as disgusting to have everything laying around. Raz placed his elbow on the table, perching his chin in his open palm. With a glance back towards Caramel, he saw that the other was actually quite silent and looked as though he was deep in thought. Raz wouldn't interrupt that.

Raz had noticed the change within their father. Well, their creator, but they all just called him their dad. It made sense anyway. They had a perfectly good family, a mother and a father, and a nice home. The sad part was that they never really got to see their 'father' anymore. He seemed so sad these days, and really it was depressing and unfortunate. Raz always wished the best for him, though maybe it wasn't his business to ask nor try and help. he just wished the best for him.

((D'aww, thanks. x3 Caramel is a bit different from my usual boy since he's so calm, but part of that is just his facade so.... ehh, whatev. We'll just wait and see what he turns into since all my boys undergo vast personality changes if I RP them long enough! xD;; Though that just might be because they start out like... slightly pshycotic and angsty or whatev and then slowly become, like... presentable/nice[sorta]. 8D;;;; ))

That pink had remained on the boy's cheeks -- or if it had vanished then the change in color was unnoticeable because his cheeks were had a natural strawberry flush to them. He had only just finished washing his own dishes when the other handed him his own. He glanced up as he took them, that small smile on his lips. Apparently, those moments of deep thought had come and gone, leaving him with his usual kindly and bright expression. The dishes were a small matter -- a few seconds under the water and then under the soapy sponge before they were rinsed and set to one side. Caramel turned off the water and dried his hands, using that same towel to dry the dishes before he put those away. He hung the towel up to dry since it was now a little damp and then turned back to face his brother, leaning back slightly against the counter. Mind consumed with the task of the dishes, he hadn't noticed all the glances he had received from Raz. Caramel wasn't one of those people who could instinctively feel other's eyes on his skin -- or perhaps he was but he simply wasn't paying attention at the moment. Whatever it was, he hadn't looked up once until he moved to lean back against the counter.

"Hey, Razzy...." he began, one hand raising to brush back shining, silky locks of glimmerinh golden orange. "You doing anything today?" he asked, a light smile on his lips. "I was going to go shopping with Mom, but he already left..... So I was thinking of maybe hanging out? If you want...." he said with a bit of a shrug. For all he had spent so long with all his brothers, he was still rather nervous when asking some of them out (though not in the date sense) -- Rasberry and Unsweetened in particular, though he was on good terms with the two. Raz never really talked very much and though Caramel didn't mind the quiet it always made him feel a little akward as a conversation starter -- like maybe Raz would just grow bored and leave without saying anything because he thought that Caramel was annoying.

Fingers played across the surface of the kitchen counter, moving sideways until they moved from wood to the slick surface of the refrigerator. He glanced over to the appliance before he moved his hand. It was summer and all but the surface was still rather cold -- a bit too cold for the golden-haired youth.

[ ya i like him. He's cute. well mine always change too. i can't ever keep them the same xD & i'm watching Monster in Law & its adorable. ]

Raz just watched Caramel do the dishes, which was really a mundane activity, but it was almost slightly more interesting when the youngest Chocolate did it. Maybe it was just because he had that sparkle about him, that..spark, something special. Raz merely just ran his fingertips along the smoothe surface of the marble countertops that adorned the kitchen in its entireity. It was nice, and really showed off their wealth in a sense, though that had always been something that Raz noticed. He had a taste for the finest of everything, whether it be clothes, food, anything at all. He liked it to be nice and well tailored to his finer tastes.

Raz noted how his glance wandered towards the Chocolate on more than one occasion, though Raz took it as being more bored than anything. He wasn't nessicarly bored with the other, just the house and setting in general. raz didn't get out too much, since he just occupied himself and his own time in the house doing different tasks here and there. Raz didn't feel like going out as much as he had before. However, he also did like to get out once in awhile since Luce had always told him that it was good to have some fresh air. Raz's attention perked a small bit more and his head snapped up from his once placid expression to one that was a bit more...interested.

"Hn. That sounds..good. And no, i wasn't planning on anything. Not yet."

Raz said, and perked his lips into a small grin. He knew that his noraml air of silence was a bit unnerving to some, if not most, and so he would work on it. He had just never spoke that much in the past, and he didn't see for a reason to change that now. But, Caramel was so animated and lively that he knew he might not have to talk that much anyway. Raz pushed out of the chair, running his slim fingers through his hair to brush it out of the way of his vision.

"I'll get dressed and meet you down here."

((I watched Moulin Rouge the other day. I cried so much at the end.... 8D;;; ))

Rasberry was... smiling. Grinning, really. The Chocolate did it so little that it was quite dazzling and Caramel found himself with a light flush on his lips. He tried his best to cover his small surprise -- it wasn't as if it was the first time he had seen Raz smiling, after all -- because it really was quite embarrasing. It was just that Raz was usually so... collected and composed and.... well, not that he wasn't now but.... but he was grinning now instead of his usual more apathetic expression. And it was morning (well, technically it was after noon but Raz had only recently woken so it was morning for him). Raz's rare smiles were always dazzling -- even better than his usual, colder expressions, which were nice, but... nothing like his smile. Caramel smiled in return, his smile bright on his lips as he glanced up to the other.

He nodded and said, "Alright, see you down here soon!" As Rasberry disapeared up the stairs, Caramel felt a bit... excited. And happy. Deffinately happy -- which was easy to tell due to the bright grin on his lips. He was gonna go out with Raz!! Only... wait... where were they going? He'd have to ask.... Raz would probably like a book store, but... but he probably had enough books so it would maybe... bore him. And a park. That was something more Orange would like.... Shopping? That was too loud, he knew. So maybe it would have to be a bookstore. Well, he just hoped that Raz would stay in a good mood or that the other would have an idea of his own.... or, preferably, both.

Caramel had already dressed himself -- just the usual shirt with the flipped colar and a pair of lose, indistinct jeans. He wasn't the smartest dresser of the group and his clothes never really stood out, but he always looked... pleasant. There was a certain boyish glow that always seemed to radiate from his countenance and which was enhanced by his dressing habbits.

The pale Chocolate raised his arms and stretched, feeling his back pop before he settled back down. That felt... good. He felt loser, better. He grabbed his wallet from off the counter and put it in his pocket. Now he just had to wait for Raz!!

...and figure out where they would go.
