"If you don't stop swearing at me then I'll be forced to stop you," Itachi snapped as he glared at his little brother out of the corner of his eye. "Now put the helmet on and lets get going, little brother!" Itachi shouted at Sasuke as he revved the engine and waited. Sasuke reluctantly put the helmet on and held onto Itachi so that he didn't fall off. When they both got home, Sasuke immidiately hopped off and ran into the house. "I knew I should have quit college so that he wouldn't end up like this," Itachi thought while pulling his bike into the garage. As Itachi walked into the kitchen he thought of all the suspects that could have done it. He then pulled out his laptop and started on his search. "What are you doing here? I thought you were still at college," came Sasuke's cold voice from the kitchen table. "I graduated early and I wanted to be with you. Ever since the accident I can tell you've been depressed and I though it was high time I came home," Itachi explained as he continued typing. "Well I don't need you here! I can take care of myself! I have done it for the past 4 years!" Sasuke shouted as he slammed his palms on the table. "You cut your wrists, I can see that! And you listen to emo music! And you hate me! Do you think that is normal?!" Itachi shouted back while closing his laptop and setting it on the counter. "You could have done something!" Sasuke shouted as tears started to leak out of his eyes. "I WAS JUST AS STUNNED AS YOU! DO YOU THINK I WANTED THEM TO DIE! I LOVE BOTH MOTHER AND FATHER!" Itachi shouted as he stood up and slammed his hand into the counter, causing it to crack slightly.

Sasuke took a step away from his brother, taken aback. Sasuke then looked at the tiled floor of the kitchen, ashamed of his outburst. "I.........I'm sorry. I didn't mean to shout like that...It's just..." A tear slipped down his cheak. He couldn't fight them off any longer.

"No, its my fault. I wasn't here for you when you needed me and I really could have done something," Itachi replied softly while taking a few steps toward Sasuke. "I understand you, umph" Itachi started only to be interrupted by Sasuke who had latched himself to Itachi's body. Itachi hugged back and whispered words of comfort and reassurance.

Sasuke started to shake with sadness and at the same time happiness that his brother was there for him. Although just a couple minutes ago he thought that it was his fault their parents were dead. "I...I miss them..." Sasuke sobbed into Itachi's shirt, drenching it. "Brother, it's hard to breathe..."

"I know I miss them also but I found something out about the accident. Ya wanna know?" Itachi asked as he patted Sasuke's back calming his breathing and tears.

Hiccupping, Sasuke slowly looked up at his brother. "W-what is it?" Asked Sasuke, still sobbing.

Itachi sighed while picking up Sasuke and setting him on the nearby chair. "It wasn't an accident, someone screwed with the brakes on mom and dad's car, causing them to crash. Someone did it on purpose but I still don't know why or who did it. But I am trying to find those things out," Itachi explained while clasping his hands onto Sasuke's shoulders to keep him steady.

Sasuke looked up at his brother. "It...Wasn't an accident?" Sasuke looked down at his wrists, now knowing that it was all for nothing. "How did you...know?" still looking at his covered up wrists in reference.

"Well, being a prodigy does come in handy every once and while.... The teachers lounge was open all day, only for me and teachers of course, and I was able to look into the accident with privacy. I'm still looking for who did it and if you want to, you can help me. As long as you aren't in any danger either you or me can't handle," Itachi explained as he also stared at Sasuke's wrists. "Mental note: Scold Sasuke later for cutting wrists," Itachi thought while staring at Sasuke's wrists. "So what do ya say?" Itachi questioned as he looked into Sasuke's eyes; looking for any clue as to what his answer was gonna be.

"I guess I can agree to that..." muttered Sasuke, slowly examining the room randomly for an excuse not to look at his brother. Not soon after his mind seemed to wander off the walls and a certain person entered his mind...a blond someone.

"Good but if yer gonna help me then I'm gonna have to keep a close eye on you," Itachi stated as he remembered all the times he was almost assasinated. "So that means I'm gonna have to transfer you to all of my classes," Itachi stated as he looked over at his laptop and thought of all the ideas he could to keep Sasuke safe. "You do know I teach at yer school now, right?" Itachi asked as he saw the look of confusion on Sasuke's face.

"No...Where'd you get a motorcycle?! They don't sell them in Konoha..." The young Uchiha remembered everything that happened that night, but was just changing the subject for his own safety.
