Steven lokked up and saw Kinzo smiling. Oh I am so going to catch you this time! he thought. He got up to the rope bridge when he heard the bell ring. Damn no matter how hard I try she always beats me! He walked across the bridge and rang the bell. He jumped off the platform and slowly floated down to the ground. "Well fourth isn't too bad." he said to himself as he reached the ground.

"Somehow I still managed to beat you," said Kinzo to Steven. She smiled elfishly, since she somewhat enjoyed being able to say those words. "But it looks like we've done quite well." Kinzo looked over at the other students, some of which had only started their laps.

Making sure he heard the professor's explaination and directions without flaw, Cha-noi's eyes became focused as his determination started to grow. After changing from his usual Ravenclaw garb into his track uniform, he stretched a bit and jogged about the small area of his personal space. Taking a deep breath, Cha-noi began to run the laps on the course.

Kairi Myana stood in the open air for a moment, taking in what the professor just said.
"I thought I was done with P.E. when I left Muggle school!" Kairi said to no one in particular, getting a few looks from the people who had no idea what she was talking about.
Groaning, she flicked her wand to change into the uniform before starting up the first ramp and before placing it in the pile of student wands on a table.
Like always, she ran at an okay pace while on the first platform, but by the second and third, she was panting.
All of a sudden, she stopped because she couldn't breathe that well and Kairi found herself coughing.
Not remembering the warning from the teacher, she continued to have the cough attack while pausing on the side of the platform.
With a giant growl, a obviously fake but still huge werewolf jumped from the nearby woods, getting to the Ravenclaw's side in a matter of seconds.
With a girlish scream, Kairi Myana fell from the side of the platform, falling at a fast speed at first before the spell kicked in: setting her safely on the ground.
Her face obviously red, even with the her hair in her eyes, Kairi stood up gruffly to start at the beginning of the course again.

So far, so good. Now there was a rope to climb. Rope net, climbing rope... and finally a rope bridge. Sira began to sense a theme. Looking at the professor, who seemed to be overall surveilling the students, she approached the rope. Her legs might not have been used to all that running she had done before, but at least she had some good arm strength, so grabbing on to the asperous rope and wrapping her legs around it, Sira began to pull herself up, climbing as fast as she could, and soon enough reached the third platform. Only one more to go.
As she ran to her right and took some time to think about how she was going to do that, she decided to try a similar approach as the last one she had tried. Kneeling down at the end of the third platform, Sira made sure she was holding on tight to the rope that connected to the fourth platform. Then, crawling forward towards the edge but still holding on to the rope, she let herself fall down, not without first putting one of her legs over the rope, then the other, so that the brambly rope was under where her knees would bend, supporting her weight. It was a bit trickier than she expected at first, but she managed to do it.
"Ok, ok, good. Now, how do I start moving?"

((I'm there.)) "Oh well thank you so much Sir Steven; your kindliness will not be forgotten," said Kinzo with a hint of sarcasm, but she was smiling. She noted the "werewolf" attack. "That's interesting..." she said as she pointed toward the girl who'd been jumped. "I wonder how he set that up."

Underneath her, the growl of what could have been the mock-werewolves the professor had mentioned made her worry less about exactly how to do it and to just do it somehow. Again using her arms to drag herself towards the other end of rope, with her legs helping as much as they could, Sira made it to the fourth and final platform.
She ran towards the bell, ringing it. "The sound of success". She giggled at that thought. Then, resumed running and jumped down from the platform. That was, by far, the best experience she had in that class. The enchantment cast made it such a slow, controlled fall that she felt like a feather. As her feet touched the ground, she almost wanted to redo it all over again to be able to jump from the fourth platform once more, but she was much too tired to do anything of the sort.

"now this I know I can do right," Lex mumbled after the professor had just sent them to work. Lex was undeniably an athlete and she loved a challenge. She changed into her track clothes, tied her pink and blonde hair back, and set out to work. Three laps came and went. Lex was a little tired, but refused to let anyone notice. She set to a sprint towards the first platform and ran up the ramp. "Elementary, my dear Watson," Lex said laughing at her own corny joke. Fatigue was starting to get to her, but as her classmates neared, she just couldnt let them pass. It was a race, and she wanted to win! Lex climbed up the rope wall without a second thought and propelled her body upwards. She made it to the second platforn in a few minutes. Lex's foot got tangled, and detained her to her dismay. she made it up though (with a little anger in her eyes.) Next she had to climb the rope. She scaled up the thick rope, using her leg muscles as much as possible. This was a little more difficult, for fatigue was starting to get to her. "This isn't fair, I'm not trained to deal with gravity..." she complained to herself. She struggled to the third platform, and decided to wait and take a breather before rushing through a rope bridge. She knew rushing doesn't get you anywhere when it comes to balance. Lex took a deep breath and began to walk. Step by step she went, cautiously, but gradually. Lex refused to look down, but she could hear the growling werewolves well enough. Moments later, Lex was on the last platform. She victoriously rang the bell, and leaped to the ground. Lex was proud for a moment, giving other classmates high fives, until she began to feel her stomach lurch. She felt very sick. But before she could ask Professor Avery-York if she could go to the infirmary, her entire breakfast lay at her feet. Lex looked up morbidly at her classmates wondering how they would react. Lex's worst enemy was always her competitive side. "Oh Merlin..." she sighed. She looked down to see the fake werewolves had approached and began licking at her vomit. "Well, this'll be a funny story for the kids someday..."

After running her three laps Naida faced the course. She kept her jogging speed as she moved across the interconnected platforms, there needed to be something to ... dodge. Next was up the ramp, okay, that wasn't very hard. She ran up and down the stairs and home far more often. Even getting to and from the Slytherin common room was worse than this. Then there was the rope net. She remembered playing on these things on muggle playgrounds. She kept the pressure of her foot on the bottom of each netted squared and scaled it with no problem. Now for the rope climbing. Naida knew her upper body strength was not as good as her lower body so she contemplated the best plan of action and then went for it. She moved her hands one over the other, but balanced herself with her feet wrapped around the rope in such a way she got pretty good leverage. This took quite a while and she could already feel the ropeburn. Which was not a happy thought when she realized there was even more rope in the next challenge. Again, she would need to balance her weight, so when she pulled herself up onto it she swung her legs around the rope as well. Hanging like a sloth, she slowly scooted down the length of the rope carefully until her feet could rest on the platform. Coming off the rope she almost lost her balance and fell backwards off the platform, but was able to catch herself and rebalance. She then raced for the bell and rang it. Happy she at least completed the course.

After her three laps she moved to the interconnected platforms. First one she needed to ramp, not really difficult for her, she always do it at the orphanage. So she did it and then acces the second platform. A little much difficult, she didn't really have strenght in her arms to help her. But she tried to pass the rope net the better she could. But she didn't look down, she was afraid she might fall. Then the third one, climbing, it start to be really hard. It was the game she dislike the most in muggle's ones. She tried to put her foot on the right place to help her pushing. She passed it but she was exausted. And now she looked the fourth platform and she felt afraid. She couldn't do it. "Professor i'm sorry i can't." she started to be really afraid of the heigh.

Ariel quickly changed into the track uniform, thankful that these things have been provided. Afterall, who really wants to run in their school attire?
The sixth year ran her three laps without a hitch, with the exception of a stumble in the middle of the second, but that was due to her natural clumsyness and she honestly felt rather idiotic about it. She reached the omonious platforms, but she had no fear of heights. After all, she was a member of the quidditch team- it would be a tad ridiculous to be scared of heights when she had to spend half the day on a broom.
With a deep breath, she jogged up the ramp, on to the platform and climbed on to the web of rope. She found this obstacle fun; but she also just plain enjoyed physical activity.
Upon reaching the second platform, she felt tempted to step off it's edge and experience the slow fall that the professor told the students about; however, she was not a complete moron or that daring, so she simply moved on to the rope climb. The tugged on the oversized peice of twine, as though making sure it was still secure and carefully began her climb. It was slow work, seeing as how Ariel had never climbed a rope before (there never had been any reason to) but in due time she made it to the third platform.
Her grey eyes widened slightly upon seeing the rope bridge. Well, if one could call it that. Ariel stared at it for a good minute or so, trying to figure out how in the world she was to complete the task. Then, she remembered the faux werewolves that would be wandering around the place and decided that she better get moving or she'd have to encounter the bloody things. Here goes nothing.
With extreme caution, she took her first step on to the rope. If only she had large pole or stick thing, like that one muggle that crossed Niagara Falls. Speaking of Niagara Falls, she really should make a point to her parents visiting there one day; surely it was just gorgeous at this time- wait, time to focus.
Ariel took a second step and, upon realizing that her balance was just right, she rushed over to the other side, landing victoriously on to the platform. She rang the bell and calmly stepped over the side of the platform, resisting the urge to squeal with delight at the slow, airborne feeling.
