Mayuri grinned at the actions taking place. His creature was performing rather well. "A pointer... you are blocking his claws, but you're doing it the wrong way. Attack when he attacks, slice between the claws. Just make sure your arms are extended enough so that when your sword makes contact the claws don't hit you. Use its own momentum to take it down. Have fun." He turned around and began to walk away. It didn't matter what the outcome would be. He had lost interest now that his doll was deemed a challenging training tool for lower level shinigami.

As he was exiting the training area he turned back, looking at Tami over his shoulder. "Just be careful. The training doll is called a Hydra Hollow for a reason." He said, implying that if she cut it the wrong way it would split in two and still be able to reform itself and attack again.

Walking towards the training grounds, Atsutane could feel a unknown Reiatsu gripping at his senses. By the way the spirit energy constantly spiked back and forth it felt as if a battle was being conducted. Which was now clearly obvious as a loud scream came to his ears, making Atsutane's eyes widen with shock. "ah..what the.. a Hollow?!, impossible!" quickly grasping his zanpakuto's hilt. "how can a hollow get inside Soul Society?" Atsutane thought as he unsheathed his sword, the blade making a small scraping sound as it left its sheath. Atsutane runs to the direction of the training grounds and the source of the scream.

Tami was too wrapped up in her fight to take notice to the newly arrived Shinigami. She skidded to a stop as the dummy struck at her again. Her frustration was compounding as she tried to use the pointer that the shinigami had gave her. Yet it just wouldn't work for her. Every time she managed to get her sword between the creature's claws it wasn't moving fast enough to effectively use it's own momentum against it.
"This is becoming a pain." She said trying once again, as the thing's claw came towards her. She swung her sword down in time for the edge to meet the base of the thing's claw. They clashed and the quick strikes turned into a power struggle. Tami quickly turned her sword horizontally causing her opponent to let up for a split second. That was all she needed, as she pushed forward with all her strength. Her sword moved forward slicing through the puppet's claw and moving through it's arm.
"It's over for you!!" She screamed as she kept pushing until her blade sliced the puppet in half. Tami struggled to catch her breath as she sheathed her sword, and turned to walk away. It was then that she noticed the shinigami that had arrived.
"It's all yours." She said walking past him.

((ok that hydra doll is dead, tami cut through it, he said if you dont kill it the correct way it just regenerates, but mayuri told her how to kill it, so your post with unohana is a bit late))

The hole that Atsutanes zanpakuto made now cracked the doll further, its body making a loud crunching, breaking sound as a body bursted forth from the hole. "WHAT?! another..." he said as he stepped back into fighting stance, as the new Hydra Hollow shedded its shell, a low threating growl coming from its mouth. "wow! it even sounds like a Hollow" he thought "well this will be easy since i saw Tami-san kill the other one". The Hydra Hollow flexed its claws, then lunged its right claw at him.

The blade scraped against the Hydras claw as Atsutane gripped the hilt harder to push back the Hydras claw. He parried it making the Hydra fall back, to regain its balance. "hmm...i wonder how strong this thing can get?" he said as he got into fighting stance again. "well lets see" he yelled as he dashed towards the Hydra. He ducked as to avoid a swipe from one of the Hydras claws. "TAKE THIS!" Atsutane said as he sliced horizontally into the chest of the Hydra, then quickly using a flurry of attacks he cut the hollow into many pieces. The dummy howling with every cut, until it was decapitated. Atsutane then jumped back and prepared himself. He had intentionally missed the weak point in order to see how strong the dummy could get. "ok bring it on" he said as the Hydra reformed itself, now double the size of Atsutane. The Dummy roared at Atsutane as it bent down on all four limbs, and roared as a tail bursted forth from its lower back. "what?! its changing? wow! this thing is awesome" he said as he dashed towards the beast. The Hydra whipped its body around throwing its tail at him, the tail curved towards Atsutane who quickly jumped out of the way as he saw it a few inches from his face. "whew! that was close" he said as he looked back at the crater the tail had made. Atsutane lost his breath as he was hit in the stomach by the Hydras hind leg. Atsutane crashed from the attack into the ground. The Hydra howled from acheiving a direct hit. "D**n it" Atsutane said as he regained his breath and stood up. "this thing has some power, i better beat this thing, instead of toying with it, other wise im as good as dead" he thought as he picked up his zanpakuto. "you want to fight serious? then fine i'll give it my all" he said to the Hydra as he held out his blade. "Awaken Hogosha Tenchi!" the Zanpakuto responded, the blade seperated from the hilt, and floated in front of the Atsutanes hand, the hilt bursted into white energy that formed into a white bracelet around his arm. Atsutane guided the blade down with a slash, energy bursted forth from the blade cutting the ground beside him. "alright LETS GO!" he yelled as the Hydra hollow dashed towards him.

The Hydra now fell to the ground, its body torn in half from the attack. Atsutane turned around and guided his blade to his side were it floated before his hand, scraping the ground as if bored of waiting. The Hydra then proceed to regenerate its innards and shrink its body. "what?.. it's shrinking?" Atsutane said confused at what form it would take next. The Hydra seperated from its tail which now lay seperate on the ground beside it. The Hydra snarled as it stood on its now human formed legs, it stretched its arms like a human then bent down to grab its tail. The tail reformed into a katana which the Hydra now held in its claw-ish hand. "did it lose power and have to change back to its human form? he thought examining the now growling Hydra "it never had a katana in its original form, i better be careful". Atsutanes eyes widened as the beast disappeared from view, He quickly realized it was a shunpo and jumped in the air.

"all you have to do, is keep living, dont let this thing beat you, I know your better then this" Tenchi said as she bent over looking at Atsutane eyes. The Hydra grips his neck with its claw and lifts him into the air, growling at its victory. "Your right....I can do this" says Atsutane reawakening as he kicks the Hydra in the chest and breaks free from the strangle. "I can reach Ban-kai, I will obtain my full power and..." said Atsutane staring at his blade, then turning to the Hydra Hollow " I WILL DEFEAT YOU!". The Hydra roars and then dashes toward Atsutane with a outheld claw. Atsutane guides his zapakuto back, ready for the attack. The Hydra throws the claw inward, which Atsutane quickly cuts through the claw lodging the blade in its hand. "now..I win" he says looking the Hydra in its eyes. He pushes the blade up the forearm into the inner shoulder, then slices the Hydra, the white energy then explodes from the blade out of the back of the beast. The Hydra screams its death as its mask cracks following its body which disintigrates. "Hehe" Tenchi giggles quietly "see your strong, i know for a fact". Atsutane smiles as he hears the Zanpakuto's words.
