I HATE rap and pop. Well american pop. I only like Jpop(japanese pop).
Not that I'm racist or anything. I also like alternative, rock, dance, and techno.
And the reason I hate rap... Just look at the lyrics of a song and you'll see why...

I can name a few rap songs whose lyrics aren't that bad though. Some songs by Eminem, like Mosh and Like toy soldiers, some Jay Z songs, (99 problems, encore, and Empire state of mind, it all depends on the artist, and the music they produce. You're gonna find raunchy songs in any genre (Country: Save a horse, ride a cowboy) or um Rock (Last resort) it's not the genre it's the artist and the mood of the artist when the song is written. You shouldn't write off an entire genre because a few artists don't do songs you agree with. Just look harder for the diamonds in the rough. Or that's my take on music anyways.
On a side note... what's this guild for? I'd love to get more involved but... I don't really know what I should be doing.
