So to put it bluntly, the problem isn't the games, but you.
No, not making fun of you. I have the exact same problem with skating games. They're just overblown Simon games to me (memorizing combos? That kinda stuff does nothing for me.)
In my case, stuff like WoW or FFXII are worthless. I'm not going to pay to be able to play something I have to pay to install already, to me it's always sounded like a one-way trip to ******** land. And yes, I've tried the game (WoW) itself, thanks to a friend who got bored sick of that thing in two weeks... Took me only three days, myself, both to be bored and to hit level 30. It was one big journey to "errandsboyland"* and "stepoutoffreezoneandgetPKedonthespot" (a place I never liked much. It's a village full of n00bs, trolls and high-level assholes who can't win against other high-level assholes so they take their frustration out on newbies.)
* other, free MMORPGs have far better questing. And items. And graphics. And music. And epic monsters. And about everything else. Don't believe that? Try Perfect Word or Metin2. They both kick WoW's a**.

If all they do is have you pay a monthly fee i see nothing wrong with that. It'd annoying but any big MMORPG has done that and from the beginning. The way you make it sound World Of War Craft makes you pay more money to do just about anything which I know FFXI did not do it was just crap.
Anyway yeah the problem is me. I started playing RPGs for the sense of achievement those games gave me that most games (Action, fighting, sports, plat formers) did not. So to me it seems pointless to play an RPG that takes away the very thing that drew me to RPGs in the first place. That is in a nut shell my problem with MMORPGs.

I like RPGs for the way your character becomes stronger, and (in some games) for how you can control that growth however you want to (with limitations, in some cases, or with 'no limitations' in others like Fallout or Oblivion.) So to me, usually, the ending to a game is the thing I do after I reach level 100 (or 50 or 20 or whatever the max is for that game.)
I do like it when RPGs have good characters and a plot. But most of the time, it's "we ripped this off some second class martial arts movie" plot for console RPGs.
In short, you like wasting time in a different way others do. Nothing wrong with that. But having to pay to level up in a game where I've already had to pay to get the game itself, is still stupid. So WoW is the pinnacle of stupid. If any other game comes close to it, they'll just release the Stupid Level 120 patch, and again surpass their own level of stupidity.

The game is good and i would like to play it again like i did before. But its the payment plus the monthly pays for the game to keep active. It i can buy the full game for $85.49 and then i found out in my account that money is pending to keep WOW active.

RazorZKnight Never liked it. It's just a silly idea to pay to play something you can play for free somewhere else (there must be at least five free to play games that do the same than WoW and sometimes to it 'better.') It's the same concept that I apply to Ragnarok. There's 300 other MMORPGs out there that are better and free, why bother with that one? my last post above is why i agree with you. crying
