Probably the latter.
See where your post style is? On the right of the icon is the Post Action dropdown. Choose Roll Dice, then choose how many sides for each dice and how many dice. Simple smile My only issue is that it can roll up to 20 dice, and it's only one type of dice each time. so Alternity will need two posts sad

I just realized that you cannot use + or - on the dice roller.
