You may not be perfect but I am xd I'm joking. What if we find newbie(s) (maybe only a handful like one for every five 'elites') that have some potential. Maybe they have great imaginations or something like that but just are not used to Gaia, or forum style RPing.

Now I'm inviting good people to jumpstart this guild. Eventually people will want to join, and many will be newbs. We take the best of them and train them.
I don't want this to be a low population guild, but I've found out the hard way better to have few and good than many and crap. I invite people I know and people whose stuff I read in other guilds.
Alykia, if someone drops his campaign, it's an empty forum ready for another gamemaster smile Besides, GMs will relish the opportunity to do whatever they want. A thread for each scene, for inventory, for OOC... it keeps things in one place, y'know.
The banner's guy promised to deliver a good banner soon.

Well, we are open to newbs, they're the ones that aren't coming to us so I have to scout for talents XD When we become a nice big guild with 5-6 campaigns and some 40+ member, they'll come flooding... but we've built a dam wink

Yea I figured it was in the get more experienced peeps phase...and get newbs later to teach or whatever. SO basically I just meant what was already said...going slow is fine...so you get good people and such.
I thought of that about the campaigns. I just hope it doesn't get to the point where there are ten of them or something. More than five might be too many subforums for me personally...more than five campaigns I mean. But that subforum thing is a personal preference I guess...maybe. I heard it is harder to sell a guild with tons of subforums though and some think its unprofessional looking. I know it annoys me to look at a billion different kinds of subforums but the way you are doing it might not be as bad. Hahahaaa

The basic subforums are 4-5 max. The rest have [Campaign] on them, are after the basic subforums, and they're only really for the players and their GMs- if you're not in, you ignore it. Besides, in the "Welcome" thread, I intend to have another post that has a small paragraph for each campaign, so that newbies get an idea what each campaign is about!
Thinking of which, I hac better ask ChinoLatino to do that...

Quick question. While we are on the subject and so that if anyone else has the same question.
Can Game Masters change their RP altogether? for example. I wake up tomorrow and say "I don't want the War for Æsur anymore. Now I want the Other World (another one of my RP ideas)." Can I change my own subforum?

Yep, you can. You paid for it, it's YOUR forum. You can even transfer it to another guy if you want, for all I care.
GMs=Crew. They're also not limited technically to any forum, but ethically (don't go around deleting posts in other campaigns!)

What if you get a weirdo that wants to mess things up and decides to make a campaign and you make that person crew and then they use their status to be a jerkface!?

Well, he must be a pretty good actor- I don't let anyone GM. He'd have to pay 2500 gold after all.
Then I'd ban him, of course, and give the forum to someone else. I WOULD limit people, but stupid Gaia doesn't allow that.

Alykia What if you get a weirdo that wants to mess things up and decides to make a campaign and you make that person crew and then they use their status to be a jerkface!? Those would be the real 'Gay Masters'. Sorry, I am not flaming or bashing or whatever the technical terms for it is, I just wanted to make a joke. 'nother question. how about invites/banning. As a crew member we are allowed to do these things, but should we consult you or a high counsel about things like that?

Feel free to invite people you know that are good RPers or people you know they aren't very good but have the potential to get better. Then again, you wouldn't invite worthless people anyway smile But don't randomly invite people, inspect their work first, like in guilds and RP threads.
The only high counsel you need to consult is your judgment. I'm not exactly a strict fellow as long as some standards are set, the most important of which is to have people who like RPing and are eager to learn, regardless of ability.

okay, but as for banning people, obviously there would need to be some outstanding reason for banning them. (i am just thinking 'out loud'). If they are banned from an RP or a campaign they are not banned from the guild. But if we feel like someone needs to be banned we should consult you first?
