Once darkness and the stars embraced them, Gareth plopped down again lazily, letting out a yawn and stretching, though he wasn't quite sleepy yet. He blinked slowly, watching the waves crash over the shores below as his tail moved back and forth. He wondered what him and Dazzle were going to do now, not that he was bored or anything. He was just getting to that stage that he knew if he laid down for only a few more minutes, he wouldn't feel like getting up afterwards.

Dazzle lay down a tails length away from Gareth. She was a bit tired her self from all of the day activities. The darkness wanted to take her and she would let it but there was something she wanted to do first. "Good night Gareth." She covered her face with her tail after that and let the darkness come.

Gareth glanced at Dazzle when she settled down for the night. His ear flicked as he said softly in return, "Good night, Dazzle," then watched her tail go over her face. He smiled a little, then looked back at the ocean. Sure, twilight was his favorite time of the day, but he also enjoyed watching the twinkling stars over the ocean's waves, and the moonlight that glinted off of the water. It was truly beautiful, and the sounds of the waves and the serene peacefulness was enough to lull him into drowsiness. With one final look back at Dazzle, Gareth smiled again, then curled up so that his tail curved around him and his muzzle was on his front paws, his eyes closing for the rest of the night.

Dazzle woke up early in the morning, the sun wasn't even awake yet, but when you have to go you have to go. She tip toed away from the sleeping purple sitara till she was far enough away from him yet still make him out if she looked over the bushes. Just behind her was a pond, it was crystal clear. Dazzle swore it was calling her name so she ran and jumped in it once she was done.

Gareth wasn't one to wake too early, and so when Dazzle awoke, he was still fast asleep and would probably remain that way for another hour or so, him having turned on his side with his paws stretched out lazily, his ear flicking here and there with his side slowly rising and falling with his heavy, sleep-laden breaths. A twitch or two would come from his paws or tail every now and then, but other than that, he remained fast asleep.

Dazzle was having a ball. The water was cool but just cool enough to make it refreshing. She was a ok swimmer and luck for her it wasn't that deep. She soon grew bored and swam back to the shore and paddled her way back to Gareth. She flopped down and covered her face with her wet tail again.

Gareth had been sleeping good until the need to empty his bladder woke him as it'd woken Dazzle. His head lifted, his eyes opening quickly as he peered over to Dazzle, stretching a good stretch before rolling onto his belly and getting to his feet. Shaking out his fur a bit, he let out a yawn, walking away from the sparkling female beside him to go hide behind a tree and do his thing. That was taken care of, and then he felt the need to wash his face a bit. Sauntering over to the same body of water Dazzle had just swam in, he dipped his paw in, then ran it over his face a few times, waking himself up as he did so, licking at his paw a little as well. His tail moved with life behind him, and with another stretch, he sat on his haunches, peering around to get a feel of where he was again.

Dazzle woke up as the sun got in her eyes. With a big yawn she sat up and looked around. Gareth was gone? How did that happen? Maybe he remembered where he was from and ran off with out saying good bye.... She thought. She stood up and shook out her damp fur as she sniffed the air for the males sent. "He's still closes?"

Gareth listened to the life of the surrounding areas awakening from the night, his indigo gaze still laced with drowsiness, but not too much. He let out a cat-like yawn, his ears folding back before his mouth closed again. Getting to his paws again, he knelt down by the water and began licking up some, being a bit thirsty, his mouth and throat feeling dry. When that was complete, he licked his jowls and muzzle free of dripping water, then began to walk back to where Dazzle had been laying, finding her awake and alert now. "Morning," he said to her as he came into view, peering around before looking back at her. "How did you sleep?"

Her heart skipped a beat. There he is! she thought as Gareth came into view. "I slept well enough...umm...where'd you go?"

Gareth smiled when Dazzle said she slept well, but his smile turned into more of an intriguing one when she asked where he went. "Had to pee, wash my face some, and then I was thirsty," he answered rather bluntly with a light laugh, his ear flicking. "And now, I think I want some breakfast." He blinked some before his eyes narrowed in an amused way. "You didn't think I abandoned you, did you?"

Dazzle pursed her lips, was he making fun of her? "No I didn't! I was just worried you lost you memories again and got lost." She stuck out her tongue.

Gareth kept a steady gaze on Dazzle, lowering his head to chuckle with a flick of his ear before he looked back up at her. "Well, I'm very flattered that you were worried about me. Sorry to worry you," he stated softly before sniffing the air, wanting something light for breakfast, and so he was thinking berries.
