Or my stepfather will come in with some laundry, see the idiot fangirls, hijack my account, and flame them within an inch of their e-life. whee When you do dare, don't be too frightened when you see a topic written all in caps about Legolas being hot. sweatdrop That's just Meri, Freodwyn, me, and others proclaiming our love for Bakshi Legolas a complete joke. The real problem with the LoTR forum is that even when someone posts an absolutely brilliant, insightful thread, they'll be overrun with illiterate twinks in no time. I just can't wait for the craze over the movies to die down, so that only the true fans remain in that forum. sweatdrop Ah, the wonders of the BL thread! It's that way in every forum, generally. You have intelligent, thoughtful questions about what class you would pass in Harry Potter, and it's overrun with "OMFG POTIONS! I WOULD BE HYPNOTIZED BY SNAPE'S HAWTNESS!" and other such semiliterate things.

Kittyhoot In my opinion, Lord of the Rings. I have seen far too many 'OMG legolas!!11!' type people. I do heart Elijah Wood though. I really have to agree with you. I have a couple of friends that are like "OMFG!!!!! I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE LEGOLAS!!!!!!". Although, just to be fair (and this is not to offend you) I have a friend who is the same way about Elijah Wood. It gets totally annoying to hear her fawn over him day after day!!!

Inuyasha's probably the worst anime ones. I mean, they have such a nice plot and so on, and it's totally ignored just because he has dog ears... xd The Legolas case is pretty bad too. Johnny Depp is not far behind.

Arrrrgh.
Johnny Depp fangirls irk me to no end. I'm a fan of his, but not obsessive. I freely admit I haven't seen all his movies, don't know everything about him, etc. but I still enjoy what I HAVE seen. And yeah, he's not too hard on the eyes, ya know? Still, I die a little inside when I see all the little PoTC fangirls freaking out over him. I'm even scared to go to the new "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" or "The Corpse Bride" when they come out for fear of being surrounded by fangirls...without my flamethrower.

Polalis sickntwistiid Tim Burton/Jhonen Vasquez fangirls. Worst ever. stare I hate those stare I hate how Hot Topic made Nitemare Before Christmas so popular randomly. If you ask half the people wearing that s**t they don't even know the character's names. I know some of the characters and I hate that movie xd I also hate the fan girls that think they know everything about all that sort of s**t and boast about it constantly. stressed Dude...In my school, some chick had a Nightmare Before Xmas lipgloss..thing o.O And her friends were alll "Omg, I like..watched that movie at my cousin's. Its so ******** weird!" Then, the girl who owns the lipgloss thing says, "I know, it IS weird..but they're like clay people! ::laugh::" o__o Seriously. Anything in Hot Topic is suddenly becoming a trend. It pisses me off, because most of the stuff there I like...before it even had merchandise in that store ><

I had a thread devoted to anti-linkin park (("I Hate Linkin Park" was the title, actually)) and it was taken over completely by the stupid little preteen fangirls who just listen to it because their lead singer is supposedly "hawt". I can't stand them. Ditto with the LotR fangirls being bad as well, and the Inyasha ones too ... stressed
