"Exodus..." she repeated his name softly. She seemed to stare off for a while before snapping back to reality.

"I... I don't know... I don't know how to answer... that..." her eyes looked downward, sadness now reflected in them. "All my life... People have... they have hurt me... They call me 'freak'. I... I..." her words died out at that. She sniffed a little; her cheeks were now glistening as tears streamed down her face.

"M..m.my... na...name... i....is. A...Anju... i...if yo...you c..c..care." she attempted to add, choking now on her sobs.

Anju stepped back, fear slowly growing over her face. "Wh..what's going on?" she watched as they raised their weapons up. Drying her tears she ran in front of him. "D..Don't hurt him!"

Anju's eyes suddenly turned violent, anger could clearly be seen across her face. "I can't..." she started. She lowered her head, her hair casting a dark shadow over her face. "I can't let you hurt him... I... I finally.. found a... a friend... I CAN'T LET YOU HURT HIM!" Her hands clenched into fists. Something odd was happening. The girl who earlier was weak and about to collapse was somehow finding new energy. However cool the air around her was just got cooler.

::indeed, I've got to head to bed as well. It's past 1:00 already and my parents would kill me if they knew I was still up xD::

A huge circle of energy and markings etched itself onto the ground, Anju now started muttering away in a language thought dead. Clouds rolled above, nearby, snow began drifting to the ground, and the wind kicked up ferociously.

"Το συμβόλαιον διακονητω μοί, η κρυστάλλινη βασίλεια! Επιγενηθήτω, ταιώνιον έρεβος, αιώνιε κρύσταλλε! Πάσαις ζωαις τον ίσον θάνατον, ος άταραξία! Κοσμικη Καταστροφή!" rang out the incantation from her mouth.

Her eyes illuminated with ferocity as the temperature around dropped colder, and colder, and colder yet. The tips of their weapons began to freeze and crumble. One of the guards started backing away in terror, but it was too late, his whole body was beginning to freeze over as the area of effect spell took its place. Anju made sure that her new friend would be unharmed by her spell. She held out her hands in front of her, and snapped her fingers. Weapons started shattering into many pieces. The glow in her eye was intense. She gave a cold look at the men who had gathered there, with a voice that became as harsh as the cold air that surrounded her, she spoke. "I don't like hurting people. And I don't like seeing people hurting others for their gain. If you want to hurt my friend still... Then... Then you'll have to get through me!"

::Well I have to go to bed now so I can get up for college tomorrow xD But for all intents and purposes, Anju hadn't quite fully recovered yet. And to resort to a spell of that nature when she was already lost in energy will pretty much mean that she'll be collapsing entirely pretty soon. So Chris, either we can put this RP until off until tomorrow, or you can continue on. You can have Anju fall to her knees, of feint entirely, or do whatever to show her fatigue, but the soldiers have been disarmed for the most part, I leave the next section up to you x3::

Bullets were firing at her direction, but to no avail. The soldiers dropped their weapons and ran. Exodus stood in awe.
"This is crazy... Stop! You'll hurt yourself!"

Exodus stooped down to aid the girl.
(This is girl is...)
"Yeah, you did OK... I'll carry you for a little bit... We're going to go find my wife..."

She shook her head as she closed her eyes. She didn't fall asleep, but merely rested. "Do you really... think your wife will like me?" she asked, her voice soft with concern.
