He's a really neat (doesn't give him enough justice) character. he's complex and i like that.

Agreed 3nodding
He's a very complex character. If he gets as much character development as Drizzt, we'll get a very nice series going ^^ (Well, which is what the Sellswords is I guess.)

Hm... I would have to say I still like Drizzt more than Entreri, but I still like Entreri. I mean, it's really hard not to. Bahaha. I haven't gotten too far into the series (only on Starless Night) but I still have a fondness for Entreri. Jarlaxle is also hard not to love. Haha I know this might sound lame, but I cried when Entreri fell off the cliff in The Legacy. Heh

Everyone knows Montolio could kill them both at once! If he wasn't dead, that is.

when entreri first appeared in the end of icewind dale i said to myself that he's a character with potential. and so i was happy when he appeared at the next book. and when he made cattie-brie scared to death, that's when i decided that i like him better than drizzt. it also made me happier when the sellswords trilogy appeared. he's got a cool sword, his character development is more intriguing than drizzt's and he just rocks.

yep. Jarlaxle as a character is very intriguing and fun. He's like a roller coaster of emotions and actions.

Mister Dante I like both of them more than the other, in different Aspects. Both turned out the way they shouldn't have among their respective race, and they are both beyond typical battle skills. In some situations I will like Drizzt more, and in others, Entreri. I can't decide which is better, but if I would have to choose one or the other it would have to be Drizzt since the books actually told us how it was he grew up, and why he turned out the way he is. Then again I am only on the 7th book and my opinion will probably change. i have to say thats one of the reasons i love Artemis more because it adds so much mystery to his life. but it was awesome to learn about Drizzts childhood.

 *comes back*
Wow, I haven't done much in this guild for a while have I?
Anyways, I finished the whole series up to The Two Swords now. Can't wait for more.
I also read the Sellswords series. It certainly did clear up a lot more on Enteri's past.
But I found the last trilogy about the orcs invading not nearly as good as what I have come to expect from Salvatore. I think that writing nearly a score of books on the same cast of characters does that.
The Cleric Quintet was awesome. After reading that, I have concluded that Pikel > Drizzt and Entreri added together.[/ranting ]
