User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.Starscream remained still and quiet for a few moments, feeling better already as the heat temporarily soothed the pain. It was just a good thing his circuitry was waterproof or he would never have been able to do this.

Finally, his optics brightened again as he looked up at Jazz, crimson optics flickering sleepily. "I assume you want something, and you're not just here to pester me..." he muttered tiredly, too groggy to be bothered snapping at this point. Besides, aside from asking some dumb questions, Jazz had not really harassed him, so Starscream supposed he could cut the white mech some slack for once.

User ImageJazz rolled his shoulder, visored head turned to look at Starscream lifting a corner of his beak casually "Company" he answered honestly "board out of my slaggin' processors" he left how lonely he always felt out, thinking that the sappiness would just be laughed back at him.

his optics shifted up to eyes the seekers damaged win from behind his visor, it was bothering him, and he didn't know why Screamer was being so light about it. falling silent and doing a couple of scans over the joint to see what the problem was.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.A frown turned down Starscream's beak in response to Jazz's answer. "And my misfortune is that entertaining?" he grumbled with malice he did not feel. Thinking about it, he could not really blame Jazz for seeking out company - the white mech was not accustomed to solitude the way Starscream was. If he remembered right, Jazz never had been - he was always talking to or entertaining someone.

Starscream tried to shift his leg into a more comfortable position, unable to hold back a wince as pain shot through the pleasant warmth from his shoulder, up his wing, down his back, and down his leg. He did not notice Jazz was scanning him not that he could stop the white mech if he did.

Jazz could easily see the problem - a gear had been wrenched out of place when the wing itself bent back slightly during the dive when Starscream was carrying him. His internal repairs had attempted to work it back into place, but it settled wrong and was now off-center and pinching several wires between it and another gear. At this point, it was not going to heal on its own - it needed manual repairs, repairs Starscream had no hope of performing on himself even if he could reach his shoulder simply because his claws were too big.

User Image"Hardly" he replied simply, focused more on the scans then Starscream's cold comments. the frown that followed could have been easily linked to Starscream's words, but they were meant for what he had concluded from his scans.

that must slaggin' hurt, and he had lived with that since it had broken? was he cracked?
it looked simple enough to repair, Jazz considered trying himself but he knew not even his claws were small enough to get into that join and readjust it. not only that but he doubted Screamer would even let him.

snapping out of it and tilting his head slightly coming back to what Starscream had said before, his misfortune, the flinch of pain only adding reason for his next question.

"it ain't fixin' its self is it man."

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. The injured mech flinched hard enough to make the water splash at Jazz's question. "I'm fine," he insisted, far too proud to admit how much it hurt and how badly he needed help. His stubborn pride was what kept him going - he could not stand feeling weak or as if he could not take care of himself. That was worse than death to him because he had to rely only on himself for far too long when he thought he was the last mech in existence.

User Image"not from what I'm seeing" he said with a slight frown, lifting a claw as some more wafter splashed on it and pointed one of his talons at Starscream's wings. "there's no way thats gettin' better on its own. and ya could be blind and still know how bad that hurts" he was not dancing around this anymore, he had the facts. "look I know some others who can help fix that. won't take long"

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.Starscream jerked back this time and started to climb out of the hot spring, favoring his bad leg as he glared heatedly at Jazz. "Mind your own business!" he snapped. It was already humiliating enough that Jazz knew how much pain he was in and about the stupid mistake which had caused it - he would not condone someone else learning of it.

User Imagestares calmly back at the seeker as he gets up. shifting slightly as more water splashes on him but otherwise not moveing "Starscream your just being stubborn" he inform the Seeker.
frowning slightly, knowing that Starscream would never willingly accept his help. Jazz pushed to his feet, eying the seeker one more time before turning around and walking away with out a word.

Fine, if Starscream wanted to be like that. Jazz could be just as stubborn... well... maybe.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.Starscream growled at Jazz's back and climbed out of the hot spring to leave as well. So what if he was being stubborn? He could take care of himself - he always has been able to, so now should be no different.

Stubbornness could be a hindrance though. As soon as he finished draining the water from his systems and tried to take a step to leave, Starscream's leg crumpled underneath him, and he fell hard onto his shoulder with a pained shriek. He tried to push himself back up, but the attempt hurt far too much, the pain intensified now.

User ImageJazz faltered when he heard the screech of pain coming from the little spring. Jerking his head around to find out what happened, having to magnify the image due to his distance, only to find Starscream halfway on the ground, struggling to regain his footing.
Jazz hesitated for a long moment, not at all enjoying what he was seeing. If he had not already known what Starscream's reaction would be if he went back and dragged the seeker along with him, Jazz would have certainly done so.
As much as he hated leaving the other in pain like that, Jazz figured it would probably be beneficial for Starscream to wallow in the inconvenience of the damage for a bit, hoping it would put a damper on that damn stubbornness. And besides… Jazz was not going to be long.

Readjusting his vision and turning back towards the field, Jazz continued on his way, switching down his audio receptors so he would not pick up anything else from the spring.

It did not take him very long to get where he needed to go. He could only hope that what… or who he was looking for was around, the fewer trips he had to make the better.
The lake was calm like it normally was, and as clear as ever, the grass around it swayed in light waves. He had to wonder if he could feel more then a mild presence though his armor, if the feel of grass would be something enjoyable, he often saw the organics rolling around in it, and they always looked like they were in a tranquil joy.

Shaking his head lightly he set his thought to the side to reevaluate later, sliding farther in towards the lake and looking around, switching on his scanners to get a better feel for where everything was.
Frowning when they didn’t pick up anything odious, he switched over to inferred.
Head jerking up startled as he caught something he did not expect, a rather large head signature off to the east of the Lake. Tilting his head curiously at that and doing a more intensive scan on that selected aria briefly going over the readings that indicated a liquid heat source coming from the ground, like what his sensors read from Starscream’s little spring, but this one was bigger, a lot bigger then the little thing he crammed into.
Remembering Starscream he shut off the scans, putting that in priority to investigate after he was done.

Stepping up to the edge of the lake, turning slightly to look in the trees and bushes, Jazz opened his beak increasing his volume and calling out
“YO! RAVAGE!”

A soft chirp came from the brush by the lake just before a small grey form flitted from the foliage and made its way over to the large mech. The grey jubi gave Jazz an annoyed glance though it really should not have expected anything else from him. Jazz was always very loud and vocal.

Ravage landed on Jazz's beak and tilted his head quizzically, chirping in his way of asking why the white mech was here.

User ImageFeeling the little creature land on his beak, Jazz blinked at first at the speed the little Jubi responded. A smile following shortly after a chuckle,
”quick as ever Ravage.” He said, holding his head still for the little creature, and continuing on to answer the chirp.
“I actually need a favor from ya if yer willin’ ya remember Screamer don’t ya?”

Not knowing if the tiny Mech knew about Starscream or not. or, if he did, even remembered him. though Jazz figured Starscream would be one of those types that are hard to forget

A look of disdain passed over the tiny creature's face. Oh, he remembered Starscream, alright. Who could forget such a condescending, egotistical jerk of a mech? Ravage stuck out his tongue in response and chirped again. What could Jazz possibly want with him that involved Starscream?
PostPosted: Thu Nov 29, 2007 11:42 pm

User Image"Yeah I know I know" Jazz sighed, his features still retaining its good natured feel. understanding the little mech's less then pleased reaction to the mention of the sour seeker.
"Can't say if anyone's ever to thrilled bout the bot either. but I need ya ta do me a favor anyway, dig?"

he hesitates, knowing Ravage won't be jumping at the chance to help Starscream, but he had to at least try,

"he's gone an messed up his wing a while back, and his repair systems ain't fixin' it like its supposed ta. an a cource bein' his stubborn self he ain't gettin' someone ta get in there an free the wires from the gears."
reaches up and offers out his claw for the Jubi to perch on instead.
"my claws ain't small enough ta get in the joint, an even if they were... it be hard ta hold em down and try and fix it at the same time."

Is pretty certain thats what he's going to have end up doing. to much the Seekers potential rage... he's sure.

Ravage tilted his head to one side, debating whether or not it was in his best interest to help the incorrigible mech. If the problem truly was inside the joint, it could be dangerous for Ravage to fix it if not potentially deadly. Still, Jazz was right - he was the best choice for this task, and a pain in the aft though Starscream might be, even he did not deserve to be in such pain, and Ravage knew what kind of agony one could endure with wires caught between gears.

Ravage let out a melodramatic sigh of agreement and flitted up to rest on Jazz's head so the larger mech could take him to Starscream.
