Amara heard the priests loud and clearly, even though they are far behind. "Awwww, they're catching up to us," she pouted as she stood up, looking in the distance, trying to find out where they are. Her eyes widened in excitement as she got an idea. "You want to run away again? That was fun," she pointed out joyfully as she jumped up and down, waiting for Marcus to respond.

"NO!!! Anything but that!!!" Marcus yelled, then quickly recovered his posture (if he has any...), "Look, just wait until they come closer. I'll take care of them..." He was reaching for his katanas when a light spell was chucked at him. Marcus quickly ducked, but not without getting scinged.
"Oww..." he grumbled.

She slightly laughed at Marcus. "You can't do anything right, can you," she asked him innocently. "Oh fine. I was getting kinda hungry anyways," Amara added with an eerie smile. She strolled down the road casually, but as she got closer to the mob of priests, she started to run quickly and appeared to them as a blur and quickly grabbed her small dagger off her hip and silently slit all of their throats like an assassin and watched them all fall to the ground and die. She then went down on her hands and knees and started to lap up their blood like a saucer of milk.

Marcus was about to make a comment to that, but she was already off and attacking. He gasped at the sight of Amara drinking the blood of the priests.
"A vampire," he concluded, "Great. Just great. Not ANOTHER vampire obsessed with Krad..."
What's wrong with vampires obsessing over me? Krad asked.
It's creepy. AND they usually want to bite me because of it, Marcus answered as he got to his feet. He looked at the priests with pity.
They're all dead... he thought.
"...But it's their own fault," he continued, almost like he was reassuring the part of himself that was showing pity.

Once she was finished, she sat up and wiped her mouth off with her arm for any other blood and lick her arm. "Eww, I don't want to do that again for about a few years," she commented. "I don't like their blood and I never will. Anyways, let's go, we don't want to attract attention to ourselves," she said as she stood up and strolled past Marcus very cooly.

Marcus nodded, still in a daze, then he blinked and snapped back to reality with what she said.
"Wait a minute," he began, "What's this 'we' you mentioned? Nah-ah, there is no 'we', just 'me' and 'you' going our seperate ways. Thanks for the help, now I'm outta' here." He turned to walk away, but Krad's energy would not let him go that easily. Marcus gripped his chest as Krad punched him mentally, just enough time for him to stop walking briefly for Amara to protest.

She heard this and turned around on her heels. "Excuse me? That isn't a very nice thing to say that me after I saved you. C'mon, we are going to together," Amara command as she stomped back to him and grabbed his hand and dragged him to follow her. "We are going to have soooo much fun on our journey. I haven't traveled with anyone since 41 years ago and now I get to travel with Kraddy and his host. I'm soooo happy," she squeaked in excitement as she skipped along in front of them.

Marcus wasn't convinced yet.
"N-no!" he stuttered again, "Ok, I'm not traveling with you! I have enough problems on my mind to do that... And I'm not going that way, I'm TRYING to find a way to Heartwood!"

"Heartwood," she questioned as she stopped. "Why do you want to go there? That place is for elves," she commented. "Well, at any rate, I could help you get over there if you want. I know the perfect way to get there," she added cheerfully with an innocent smile.

Marcus groaned.
"I'm going there to talk to someone," he answered, "and you are not--wait..." he turned and looked at her, "You know how to get there besides the port? And don't say the mountain pass because those trails are abandoned for good reason."

"I wasn't talking about the mountain pass, silly. I usually take my own personal shortcut whenever I went over there in the few decades," she giggled slightly. "So, you wanna take it," she questioned him innocently with a sly idea in the back of her mind.

"It's not that bad, we just need to find the body of water," she replied as she pointed in the direction where she thought the water was. "If you can find the sea, then I can show you my shortcut," she stated proudly with a satisfied smile on her face.

"That would mean going into the harbor..." he answered, "You know, where people are. Priests to be exact. And quite frankly, you and I stick out like sore thumbs in this town."

"Not exactly," she commented as she pulled out a small band off her hip and placed them over her ears so they could be pushed down into her hair. "See? I could disguise myself. Besides, we don't need to be disguised that much, we just need to be undercover in the public eyes. We'll mostly be in the shadows and in hidden places. Just show me to the harbor and I'll show you my shortcut."
