 Raven cleared his throat and shook his head.
"Nothing..." He must have been seeing things. And feeling things. Soft lips, pressing warmly against his cheek--
Raven mentally slapped himself silly. Convinced that it had just been his mind playing tricks on him, he stood up.
"I'm... sorry." He straightened his collar, which always seemed to mess up. "For being arrogant and pig-headed." This wasn't like him, so he was hoping that Lucius would just accept his apolagy.

Raven sighed. He noticed how... uncomfortable... Lucius was. He walked over slowly, trying not to make too much noise. He placed a comforting hand on his shoulder.

Lucius jumped at the touch of the hand, and he quickly pulled himself out of the reach of Raven's arm and turned around, "What... What was that for?"

Raven was starting to think he would have fun with this.
"You looked uncomfortable." He smiled. "Just wanted to let you know you weren't out of place."

"I'm not feeling uncomfortable. I don't know what you're talking about!" He said, taking another step back, and slipping on a rock. He fell to the ground on his but and began laughing. Sighing, he layed himself down onto the cool grass, and picked a flower resting beside him.

"Of course." He sat back down on the rock, his eyes flicking back to Lucius every few moments.

Lucius layed down the flower, and shifted his body to the side, "If... If we want to get that wall down tonight, I think we may want to sleep now." He mumbled, and closed his eyes. After a few moments, he lay in a deep trance before the time he fell asleep, and unknowingly slipped out, "Good night, Raven. I love you..."

Raven had closed his eyes as well and was drifting off when he heard the words, 'I love you'. His eyes shot open and scurried to Lucius's body on the ground. They looked over him numerous times before the words actually sunk in.
'I wasn't seeing things...'
He got up slowly, careful not to wake Lucius up. He crept over and sat next to Lucius, staring down at him with soft eyes. Feelings he didn't even know he had suddenly burst into his actions. Raven bent down and pecked Lucius tenderly on the lips [it was a but uncomfortable for his back since he was on his side] before standing back up and making his way to a tree-trunk, sitting down and leaning against it, drifting off into Dream Land.

--::[ Prologue, Priscilla's Escape ]::--
 Priscilla's horse galloped through the mist-enshrouded fields around Laus... She had to escape. The young Valkyrie shot across the field at a lightning speed and suddenly, the bridge across the river loomed into view. The bridge that marked the border of Laus and Pherae. She was almost out... Just a little farther and... The gallop of other horses could be heard all around her... The ugly form of Erik upon his horse came into view, blocking her path to the bridge. "No matter what you do to me, I'm not going to see Marquess Laus! You'll never take me!"
"Oh, but I will. You see, you are surrounded by about 40 Laus soldiers. You can't escape. Why don't you give up?"
"You little... I refuse to be a toy for some playboy Marquess! DIE!" Her hand shot into the air and it began glowing. A sphere of raw magic formed around it and twinkled brightly in the fog. Her hand shot down, pointing directly at Erik's head. An eruption of magic shot up around the Cavalier and a spiraling bolt of the same peculiar flame wound around the growing pillar of fire. She shouted with all of her might "Elfirus!", and the pillar collapsed around Erik. He was seriously burned and keeled off his horse, unconscious. She took the opportunity and shot past the horse, across the bridge, and to freedom.
"Free at last... Finally, I'm out from under the terrible iron fist of Marquess Laus... Perhaps I could seek Marquess Pherae and counsil with him on where I should go... Marquess Pherae, I've met him once before... I wonder if he'll remember me..."

His dreams were filled with lecturing Luciuses and crying Priscillas; so Raven was happy as ever to wake up. It was dusk, and the sun was still setting. It was truely beautiful, Raven admitted himself aloud, standing up and staring at the red-bathed sky.
Raven's eyes suddenly moved over to Lucius, who was still sleeping. He crept over quietly and kneeled beside Lucius. He placed his hand on his shoulder and shook him gently.
"Lucius.... Lucius, wake up...." For some odd, unknown reason, it seemed strange saying his name now. Something was different.

Lucius tossed himself over and slowly opened one eye. He saw Raven in the foreground of a red sky. He sighed and smiled at his comrade. He seemed to have forgotten the night before, "I am awake..." He said angrily, as most people say after being woken up, and closed his eye again.

"Okay, let me reword that-- get up." Raven stood up and glanced around. The security seemed to have tightened a bit... Maybe they saw the damaged wall. There was nothing to worry about, though, since they couldn't really be seen.
He walked over and sat down on his trusty, over-grown boulder and huffed stubbornly.

Lucius groaned and opened both his eyes. Slowly, he sat himself up and groggily looked at Raven, "Why don't you take that rock with you...? You seem to like it more then me [you never sit on me...]" Lucius said jokingly. He peered outside the brush and saw Ostian Soldiers patrolling, "How do we get in...?"
