"Put your teeth together, I'm going to put your shoulder back in place." He counted to three before there was a snap and the bird-human's shoulder was whole again, weak and frail, but whole none the less.
Silversnow's eyes darted over the other creatures, counting how many were dead, and how many could still be saved. The numbers weren't good.

(( they were wyrsa! dont save them silversnow!!! noooo!! ))
Xiran whinnied as she skidded into a fumbled stop a good distance away from teh group of people, corpses and badly injured creatures. in teh middle, there was a heep of feathers. a heep that called to her. He blue eyes flashed and she made another whinny sound, bitting at the air in front of her before clacking her hooves against the cobblestone and making a quick canter over to the large group.
She arched her neck low as she carefully stepped closer to the gryphboy, and Silversnow, completly ignoreing the creatures half dead around. SHe could sence what they were and had no time for them. :: His wounds... :: She whined, her mindvoice crisp and clear to anyone who was listening. She carefully snuffed Aleron's arm with her nose, whimpered once as her mind grazzed his. :: I can.. help... ::

"I will accept any help offered, ally of the heralds," he said. The shoulder was now in place, and the bruises weren't that bad, the lacerations were his next worry. He pulled out more bandages and gauze. He turned all of his focus to those wounds now.

The boy had the sense to obey (despite being unused to HAVING teeth in the first place) and let out a muffled whimper when Silversnow popped his shoulder back into its socket. "Thank you." He managed to get out through clenched teeth, sincere despite the throbbing pain.
A strange chiming sound reached his ear-tufts, causing them to twitch. He turned his head - fighting the dizziness and nausea - and met deep blue with his own amber gaze. The mental shock made his head swim, and blackness closed in around him as he passed out.
The crow was staring intently at Xiran, green eyes piercing. After a moment, a whirr of fuschia wings lifted him onto her back. :: Well, at least you're useful. I'd hate to have to share him with anyone that wasn't.:: The bird spoke directly to the Companion.

Silversnow nodded to the bird-human and continued with his work. Where was Skale? The bird's delay was starting to get him worried.
::Any luck yet?:: he mind-sent.
::Nothing... sorry....::
::Then just come back, I should be able to manage for the remainder::
The bird made no reply, but made a large ark to return to Snow.
Throughout the conversation, Silversnow busied himself with the bandages. "I regret asking this, ally to the Heralds, but can I use you once I am done tieing these bandages in place? I wish to bring him to the healers of Valdemar where they can fix his wounds properly."

Xiran heaved small snort, and momentarily glanced back to teh bird. She didnt mind being used as a perch; this crow seemed to be one with her chosen. She had no choice. :: Thank you. Apologies for my sudden intrusion... But he needs me as much as he needs you. ::
She prodded Aleron lightly with her nose, knowing well enough that he was unconscious, but that was alright. Xiran concentrated her mind on him, and let her thoughts flow like a trickling current of water. Her power was.. an oddity amung her kin. She was a healer, though not of the mind. Her thoughts mended very slowly, urging The gryphon-boy to heal. her esence mingled with her chosens, helping his recovery. :: I can do only that. I... hope its enough...:: that trail of thought was for everyone, especially silversnow. He was trying his best aswell, just like her. :: i will help. Please call me Xiran. ::

He nodded, "Xiran, I will need you to carry him back towards the palace, and to the building where the healers reside. I do not know the way, myself. I can explain some of what happened, but not everything that needs answers, I am sorry." He stood up once he finished with the wounds. "How do you prefer we move him?"
His only idea was for him to lift the bird-human most of the way, and then gently place him on Xiran's back. Other than that, he couldn't think of a different way. He couldn't possibly carry him the entire way.

:: Yes, to Healers. They can help him. :: She kneeled down beside the Gryphboy, turning her thoughts to the crow :: Please, you'll have to move out of the way... :: Xiran was nervous. She wasn't sure how much help her healing had been as of yet, and the safety of her chosen was at risk.
Her thoughts drifted back to Silversnow :: Can you.. move him onto my back? should i lower myself further to the ground? ::

"Move to where you are comfortable, we don't need you to injure youself, Xiran." He folded the wings gently so they wouldn't be caught on anything and injure himself even more. He then started to ease his hands under the bird-human and lift him onto the companion. He could feel his muscles cry due to the sudden strain, but he ignored them for the time being.

When Aleron was secure enough on her back, Xiran pulled herself carefully standing and snorted. She could do this. :: Please.. make sure he doesnt fall off..? ::

"Of course, Xiran," he said placing a gentle hand on the bird-human to steady him. He quietly walked beside the companion, but he kept an eye behind them. He didn't know what they should do about those creatures... he had never seen them before, and he might still be able to save one or two of them...

The crow had hopped onto Xiran's head, between her ears, even before she asked him to. He turned his piercing green eyes on the Hawkbrother. ::Have no care for those things. They are the reason for his injuries, magic beasts.::

Xirans ears twitched. She was... very nosy sometimes and liked to mind graze alot, and had caught some of where Silversnows thoughts where lingering. She nodded at what the Crow said, and added her own bit. :: please... Those creatures sit ill with me. I... think we should make sure they stay dead. :: It wasn't very... nice, but they did make her queasy. :: Oh! Forgive me... my.. mind tends to wander and mix with other people... :: SHe lowered her head a little as she walked, feeling a little bad for prying like she did, whether or not it was an accident.

He gently placed his free hand on the companion's forehead, gently stroking her, "It is fine, Xiran. These things happen, and will be forgiven at any time." He gave her a smile.
"But leaving beasts, evil or not, does not sit well with me. Every creature deserves a chance at life, that is what I believe." His eyes still kept on the creatures behind him. There wasn't much he could do for them, that was for sure.
As these thoughts came to him, Skale swooped down from over head. Silently, Silversnow lifted his arm so his hawk could perch comfortably. The talons going into the harnass he wore for such an occassion.

:: Thank you, Hawkbrother friend. But leave the creatures be. I've already informed a Herald to dispose of them. The evil creatures that they are... :: she whinnies lightly, keeping up her slow pace, weaving through the streets to the palace and collegium.
