Ahhh, those are fishing flags. It's a tradition amongst the fishing community to root on those going for trophies by waving a flag. One of the fishers, Thyalla, designs them for about 5 to 8K depending on complexity.

The flags in my sig are 4 of my friends going for trophies this month. A few of them actually got me a flag as a gift a while ago:

And yes, the marketplace is ridiculous right now. Tickets are weird, try a high-traffic time as they'll sell quicker. Things tend to pick up soon, around 2:30 to 3 pm EST when the eastern timezone kids get home. It picks up again later when the Cali kids get home.

Fish sales have been stagnant for a long time because the Fish Exchange wasn't working properly stressed It started working again yesterday, but I don't know how many people know that yet. Once people realize it's working, that should start fish sales up again.

As for donation items, what is happening is some people with lots of money are buying a ton of the items and re-releasing them as more expensive versions. Most 2004 items have already faced it, and some 2005 items.

If you're looking at buying any, please check prices throughout 2 or 3 days. They have fluctuated so wildly. Ice gauntlets went for 9, then 15, then 10, all within a 24 hour span. Most donation items from 2004 have gone through that once, and I'm sure it's going to continue gonk

Just looking at the increase is crazy too. Comparing prices to a month ago, the ninja band has gone from 90K to 125K, the Kiki from 24 to 29K, the mp3 player from 27 to 48K...it's...nucking futs stressed

It'll drop, then go back up eventually over time. Event items tend to take a long time to go up, but the G Buckle seems really popular.
