xD I can offer up Kibuulu'ardhi for Kaikura, sub-plot or potential mate (whichever you think she fits better). She's a Kusini girl, but she's going to leave the lands on a search for love. She's intelligent, but she's easily labelled as one of those cheerleaderish type girls who don't seem all that smart. She's extremely kind, so she'd probably put up with him and try to put emphasis on kindness in his life. XD But she'd also praise him totally on his strength, kind of fangirl swoon on him and think it mighty attractive that he's so strong and powerful. So, if you wanna work with we can try something. xD

XD I doubt you could beat the ego out of him, but few people ever seem to notice his strength which can be frustrating for him. He might actually be a little nicer to Buu instinctively because he liked the praise. lmao, he's a ham.

Hrrrm, I may have a few to throw in.
Kizalia would probably be more up for the Devunde plot. She's currently situated in the Kusini lands, but once she grows she'll be leaving her family and exploring, as her mother did at an early age. She somewhat idolizes the sky since it travels itself everyday and can see all the things she wants to see when she grows. So, maybe this would work, maybe not. Just thought I'd throw her out there.
Chepe would be a proposal for Kura. She's pretty strong willed, and is on her way to the Pridelands currently. She is hoping to someday be strong enough in both mind and body to return the the swamplands and petition for her family's allowance to return [as they were kicked out, yada yada]. She is very calm and patient, but won't back down from an argument.

But I'm afraid Chepe is a bit too young (at least right now D cool . I'd be afraid of Kura actually hurting her, or at best he wouldn't listen to anything she said because she was not only a girl but also little so...XD
