"It has before." Elandere replied, not looking at the woman. "It has many times before, without the aid of magics and spells." he turned, "I know we can defeat Melkor, but sitting around like this is not helping anyone."

She bit her lip and closed her eyes tightly before opening them and looking up at him once more. "The I am going with you."

Elandere shook his head, "No. I need someone here, to stay by the King's side. I know he has Legede... but to tell you the truth..." he shook his head, "If Legede has had it as bad as you say, then perhaps he is willing to sacrifice those he loves to see this evil defeated. To be honest, I do not know if I trust him as I once did." the warrior sighed, "And I would rather have someone I know I can trust, like you Lenora, guarding the king and his son."

Elandere smirked slightly, "I am always careful." he stated. "And no, I do not plan to rush out without a strategy. However, such things can be thought up along the way."

Lenora nodded "I know you are...alright...I shall go now." She quickly leaned forward and up to kiss him on his check before she turned and left..dissapearing down the hall.

Elandere stood there for a moment in confusion. He starred at the doorway, watching as Lenora left, yet he could not bring himself to go after her.
'It is too soon...' some voice in his mind whispered. 'Are you so ready to invite the hurt once more?'
"Is hurt not what I am inviting by going to battle?" the warrior whispered in answer.
However, the voice did not speak again.
Elandere found that one hand had strayed to his cheek, to where Lenora had kissed him. Shaking his head and quickly pulling his hand away, the warrior went back to collecting his things.

Upon reaching Elandere's room...Lenora took no stop to rest..she knocked on the door.....no...banged on it and began to shout. "Elandere!!!!!"

Her eyes wide and blood shot..she took a deep breath. "A huge army is coming..from Mordor. I saw it...in a dream."

Elandere, having loved Legolia for a long time, had come to realize the powers of foresight. However, what Lenora said did not make any sense. Legede had promised that there would be a sign.
"Lenora, are you sure. I mean, it is not that I do not believe you, but it is too soon for them to strike."

Lenora's eyes darkend slightly. "Yes...why else would I dream something like that..one moment I was being shown Legoloas' chambers and then an army. The shadows have not lied to me before."

( well....poo..I just made a nice long post and then got logged off)
Shadows began to fill her eyes as she began to get frustrated. "Then I shall have to speak with Legede." She suddenly began rather dizzy and had to pause to catch herself...she then took a deep breath and turned to leave.
