I read it in the manga before that and cried my eyes out....but i was ready in the anime....but it still had me tear up...I cried more when he found out the news of his surgery actually in the show than in the manga...

also when they said no to lee ( he cant go to sound 4 mission) crying
and when he was doing push ups when he was injured crying
when tsunade said no to ninja crying
when gai said to lee "if it fails,i'll die wit you!' crying

I cried when:

. Lee lost to Gaara

. He tried to get up again after the fight

. When Sakura and Ino visited him at the hospital

. When he fell when doing pushups

Uhm, pretty much whenever that sad piano music plays in his scenes.
