The dark-hued female definitely had his attention, his eyes following the sway with a riveting focus. "And whose eyes do you want on you, hmmmm?" The purr was low and silky even as he stretched out, arching his back and then sliding his front paws forward in a low almost bowing motion, slowly moving closer to her again. He straightened again, his deliberate steps almost stalking her.

"And who said anything about chewing?" He murmured softly, wings unfurling before nestling them back against his body in what Rei would have said was a mating dance type of display.

"Deserves it? Ah, so you're the exacting type." His voice was approving, a low rumble accompanying it before letting out his own small chuckle at her sharp words.

In the blink of an eye, he was suddenly pressed up against her, his tongue warm and rough as it laved across her cheek before he bounded backwards in a smooth leap. "It has its merits, I'll admit." His grin was cocky as he lifted up a paw to lick at it slowly. "And I was right...spicy."

His answering smile was sharp and a touch wicked at her blunt words. Ah, this one was definitely after his own style. How fortuitous! "But there's always someone out there who's stupid enough to blunder where they shouldn't." He gave a slight shrug. "But that's not necessarily a bad thing all the time. It gives me a chance to shred something when I feel like it. Everyone has their part to play, after all. Predator....or prey."

His smirk widened at her reaction as he too sat down, one ear flicking every once in a while. He slid her a sly look . "Your fur feels nice on my tongue and the spice is...invigorating."

"You're talking about how their eyes light up with hope when they think you've given them mercy and then the shock that follows afterwards when they realize there was really no hope in the first place?" His eyes gleamed with remembrance and he stood again, entire body radiating a kind of excited vibe.

He gave a small snort, reading the emotion in her voice quite clearly. After all, she wasn't exactly hiding it, was she? "I'm sure you're just giddy with joy at making me happy," he murmured dryly. His paws kneaded the grass below, claws flashing in and out with a need to release the energy he was getting from bantering with this female.

"Why don't we go and hunt? All this talk makes me want to hunt down some prey."

He was flicking his claws out on his front paws, the sharp talons gleaming in the sunlight. "First thing that moves and is worthy of our attention. I don't like wasting my time on inconsequentials, but I want to see how you play." A slashing grin before he made a long leap towards the depths of the forest.

A buzzing sound and then a zoom of black and white signalled the appearance of Shinra, the chittering sprite looking eager for the hunt as much as his Blath.

"I wondered where you had wandered off to..."

He threw a grin at her over his wing as he loped into the forest, completely at ease with his body and his surroundings. His ears were up and actively listening for any sound that might hint at a rousing hunt, tail swishing in a leisurely manner.

The sprite buzzed excitedly before zooming back towards the other one and then darting back towards Sephiroth.

"Quiet, Shinra. I think I hear something...." He looked at the fiesty female, gesturing a paw towards the sound as if to say After you.....
