Seriously, is the world that much of an awesome place that the only thing people need to get uptight and pissed off about is the fact that the top 8 on our page are all blonde girls?
Here's a jem of a post:

i dont know if i find that offencive, appaling or just ******** pisses me off tho.. lil girly girls didnt even know about yall till start something came out.. they wernt throwning up a rock fist to kobrakai, ode to summer or ******** moac supreme..... ******** inane, it blows my mind. Firstly how the hell is that sexist? They are pictures of our friends. Do you even know what sexist means? Secondly, how do pictures of attractive females offend you??? How do they appaul you???? WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT??
Y'know what you should be getting offended about? The fact that our soldiers are still getting killed in Iraq, the fact that people are getting raped and murdered everyday on our doorsteps, the fact that a lot of the natural resources on this planet are almost run dry, the fact that our healthcare system is a farce...I could go on and on and on. What you shouldn't be offended or appaulled by is the sight of 8 our friends who are pretty and blonde. Are you that bored?
Would it make a difference if they were brunnette? Or how about if they were all goth? Or what if they were all buff guys? Would that piss you off, or would you think it was funny? Would you make so much of a song and dance about it then?
Im sorry if this sounds harsh, but yknow what. If you have the balls to post some stupid s**t like that, then you are gonna have to be ready to be challenged on it. Empty rhetoric and false bullshit postering dont sit well with us. And pictures of 8 girls, shouldnt offend, appaul or make a blind bit of difference to you in any context.
Sort it out.
Anyway, in light of so many people being mortally offended by the sight of 8 pretty blonde girls, we have decided to go with a new theme for the week.......enjoy

its just plain ******** up. in the end everyone is equal. and shouldnt be catigorized as pretty, ugly, nerds, geeks, goths, whatever.. and well, in ways you were basically showing in ways that "hot blondes" were the way to go, when its not. especially when its about the music. not about how someone looks, i mean its hurtful to see the "pretty ones" always at the top. i mean yes, im ugly ill admit that, but its not a popularity contest, every type of person should be treated equally. and well thanks for pinning s**t like its a bad thing on a loyal fan, just because they feel that everyone thats not pretty is getting shut out of the picture. You seriously need to calm down. Believe it or not, our top 8 isnt something to aspire to, nor is it a reference to what you should be, and its not what we think' the way to go' is. Its not about being pretty and its not about being cool. Its whatever we feel like putting up there week to week. I'm not blonde am i? They are just pictures of people who are into us. And its funny when all the pictures look similar. They may not know all the words to every song, hell they might only know one song, but at least they like that.
We aren't pinning anything on you dude, you saw fit to post your opinions on a public website, which is cool. So now we are doing the same. You kinda sound a little hypocritical by calling us facists but then demandin that we dont respond to your views. Or getting all pissed off because we dont agree with what you say. If you post, we post. It's fair game. And if you post opinions as strong as yours on something that we think is irrelevant then you ARE going to be challenged on it. Its just how it works. You cant expect to say stuff, and then everyone either ignore it or agree with it.
Who said it was all about hot blondes? And who said they were gonna stay there? I see you dont have a problem with people with black hair. Do you see my point here? Its not so much about us putting blondes on our page, its more about you feeling threatened by it. And you shouldnt, in any way. Nobody is ugly dude, as cliche as it sounds, everyone is awesome in their own way. You shouldnt attack things just because they make you feel uncomfortable. Your totally going over the top, and if you think that us putting 8 blonde girls on our page is akin to Hitler then, my friend you really need to re assess your world view. The ironic thing is, that by making such a scene about this, you are starting to sound predjudice against blonde girls. You say everyone is equal but get offended by pictures of people who are different to you. Its dangerous ground, cause to be this incensed by people who are different to you is worrying.
Bottom line we respect all our fans, you included, and we give you enough respect to challenge your views if we dont agree with them. Your entitled to yours and we are entitled to ours. I felt shitty when i read your comments. Why is it ok for you to make me feel like s**t with what you say, but not the other way around?
Personally if thats how you feel then we respect that, and we respect you. We certainly dont agree with you, but thats the beauty of freedom of speech. If anyone posts something we dont agree with then they will get called up on it. Its simple. Dont feel s**t about it cause having discourse is a part of what life is about. If everyone agreed with everyone then the world would be a boring place. Like i said, props for having the balls to post against something you dont like, but dont expect us to agree with you. wink
Maybe blonde girls are the new oppressed minority. Cause like i said, i dont see anyone having a problem with the new top 8.

The new songs are...
..actually old songs. Old rough demos to be precise. Some of you will know this already because they were b-sides on all our singles in the UK. But if your not from the UK then we thought it would be cool to let you hear them. We have a load and we will keep changing them regularly. They range from 2002 to 2004 pretty much, some are covers some are just old songs that never made it. But most are fun to listen to. Just remember that these are NOT new songs.
In other news, we are still in Hawaii recording the new record. It's all going well, very chilled and a good vibe. We will probably be done tracking mid December, then we will mix it in January. So it should be all done by Feb 1st. As for a release date, nothing is set yet though it will likely be around late April. Maybe sooner but you never know. Video and single will be out way before that though, but like i said you can never tell with these things cause they change all the time. Nothing will really be set until the whole thing is finished. Stay sharp....

Random perousal thoughts...
Yknow what's funny?
Dudes on myspace who completely jock us, our style and our ideas, but then dont put lostprophets on their band lists or offer and reference to us at all. Even though they will put pretty much every single other band close to us. And im not talking about vague 'emo' or 'alternative' kids. Im talking about specific things, like gun tats on their abdomen, the same haircuts and snake bite peircings from Cardiff, yknow the vibe. Stuff where at first you think your looking at a picture of yourself or one of your best friends but when you look closer you realise its not. Then you check out their page and you dont find one mention, even though you find every one of your peers on there.
Whats up with that? I mean if we are cool enough to rip off and steal ideas from then we are cool enough to take up a few millimeters on your little page right?
Yknow we are all about getting dudes to dress better, and to look radder, but give us something in return, give us something to work with, throw us a bone here and there! All we would like is a little credit where credit is due, something to warm our hearts when we scan those 12 little letters, and see that people do credit us. Is that really too much to ask in this day and age?

Arrogant?
It has come to our attention that certain posts and activities conducted by us or me in particular on the world wide web, are being misunderstood. I have heard time and time again how we or i am an 'arrogant t**t'. Im trying to think of reasons for this, so if any of you have any suggestions, feel free to post them below.
The way i see it, i spend a lot of my time updating this site and answering questions on our messageboards. As far as im aware not many other bands do this themselves. Maybe this is arrogance? The fact that i have the audacity to have contact with people who like our band? Could it be that by being sarcastic and humourous i have been labelled arrogant, cause of course humour is a privaledge that is only available to fans and comedians. How dare i use it to make us laugh. Could this be the reason? Not sure.
What exactly have we said that could be construed as arrogant? The fact that i said people rip us off but then dont credit us? People do, its obvious, but it was said with an element of jest, and to me that was pretty obvious to see. I truly dont care that much, but i thought it was a funny observation. Can't i have an opinion? (albeit a dark sarcastic one). Isnt it a bit arrogant to assume the holier than thou position and condemn us or me for it?
Maybe its just cause people dont really know me, so dont know how to take me or my stupid sense of humour, which at best is like an arid desert. Maybe i should just shut my mouth and become relegated to the masses of bands out there who remain untouchable and unreachable. I probably won't but yknow, its does get frustrating to hear it all the time.
I give people a lot more credit than you think. I take for granted that people will see the humour in things, but they dont. It's such a shame that people are so quick to attack or judge. Not that i want your sympathy or praise, cause if thats how people want to be then thats cool, everyone can have their opinion. It just always suprises me when i hear that from people who dont know me when it's really not like that at all.
Anyway, big mouth is outta here.

One of my best friends wants everyone to know that she has a bf..
..but thats another story,
I'll try to put in all the info i have to date, save people asking over and over so here goes. We are still in the middle of tracking. We are doing it song by song, guitars, keys, then main vox, then move on. Then once we have done all the songs, we'll go back to the first one and do all the cool harmonies and special guitar bits etc. I'm not gonna tell you how it sounds or what we think of it, cause next week it will be in some magazine with a quote saying 'we think we are ******** amazing and have massive cocks' by handsome arrogant singer.... wink Sufice to say we arent saddened when we hear it back.
My guess is that we will be finished with everything including mixing, mid or maybe the end of Feb. What happens then is anyones guess. No doubt pick a first single, shoot a video with lots of close ups of me looking omgwtf hottttt, then play shows. We have some ideas where and what, but its still way too early to tell. I reckon, single sometime late March and then album late April.
We may actually post some pics up soon, cause we have been taking loads. I have a big moustache now and it looks rad. I think i look like the smooth guy from Almost Famous but in reality i probably look like Yanni. Lewis has a c**k duster and Stu has a wonderful Amish piece. Harrison Ford will be going under cover here soon. Jamie gave himself a Jarhead hair cut today, cause he dreams of being in the marines special ops and Lee has a big Jedi beard. He looks spookily like Obi Wan/Ewan McGregor. Ah the fun of being somewhere no one can see you.
So thats it for album news. Yes we are doing a new album, and it will be out next Aprilish.
As for other stuff, i cleared Resident Evil 4, Lewis did Warriors, Lee did Shadow of the Collosus. Im now on God of War.
Cant think of much else to say. We still get a million ******** mails asking to join every group under the sun, and we still ignore them. The hot girl sex emails have slowed right down, dont know what happened there. Maybe MCR got the rest....haha.....crack myself up mun.
So until i think of something else to say, thanks for all your continuing support and be safe.......as you were.

Epilogue.....
I am having a hard time not being a sarcastic c**t with this, but i'll hold back cause it will be taken the wrong way....but, just incase people dont know, we are all Welsh. Have a think.
Also, just because we post up new images or '******** around' art on here doesnt mean that its is going to be the new album cover. Trust me we will spend more than ten minutes when we do that. It will be at least fifteen.

So to clear it up, we actually arent Welsh. It was a joke. We are actually all orginally from Orange Country (YES that's Orange COUNTRY), but we now live in Silverlake. Sorry for the mix up, sometimes my humour goes off on tangents.

Duh Duh Duhhhhh!!! The Imposter!!!!! So, we have had a s**t load of emails this past week about this Paul dude, who i guess is pretending to be me, well not be me but pretending to look exactly like me then. I think. I dont know what he's trying to do actually. All i know is that all his pics are pictures of me, and he talks in first person when referring to them, which is shady and a bit fruity. It's Chrriiiisssstttmmmaaaaaassssssss!!!
Well, kinda.
So heres a little festive update. I fly back to the uk tomorrow to go and have Christmas with some friends and family. Jamie, Stu, Mike and I have been in LA this past month partly because they live here, and i dont live anywhere so why not innit. We have had December off, so ive spent it just hanging out, watching movies etc. Been to a few cool swishy bars. Some guy brushed my arm while we were hanging out next to the bar at this one place, i turned around only to see that it was Bruce Willis, who was busy talking to that Chandler dude from friends. Maybe they were discussing the next 11 yards? Anyway, i told him to relax. Prince pushed past Stu and I later on and if it wasnt for his bouncer we would have disciplined him. Instead we observed him dance. Not what we had hoped for. Just when we thought the night was too surreal to top, Eddie Murphy stood behind Stu. Admitedly we thought it was Charlie Murphy at first, but then realised it was none other than the man himself. Add to this Lindsey Lohan and Miss Osbourne having drama, and one of our friends almost getting into a fight with Tricky (he ended up getting his number) and you have a typical night out for us lads in LA....haha. Fun Fun Fun.
Anyway, we start back recording in Jan in Hawaii, then mix in Feb in Vancouver. Plans are forming for next year so keep your eyes and your ears peeled.......
I may update this when im home, but if not, have an awesome holidays and we will see you in the new year.
