Appearance: Though short and skinny, Katya positively buzzes with energy, rarely staying in one place for very long. Her dark hair shaggy, and slightly messy, her eyes grey. Like the rest of her people, her skin is tanned to a light chocolate colour, and her attire consists of simple sandals and a loose white robe of the kind used to counteract the desert heat.
Personality: Impulsive and impetuous, she will not shirk any task; indeed, she will jump at the chance to prove herself in any way possible. Katya is blunt and straightforward, and always speaks her mind and tells people what she thinks of them. This holds true even for Dunaldra; while she looks up the Exile, she treats her just like any other human being, often smartly talking back to her or rebuking her for some slip of inattention.

Personality: Jierda is Somnius' chief shipbuilder and architect, and has earned every inch of the respect she commands. She is brisk and no-nonsense, expecting much from others but judging herself by the same strict standards. The sea is her love, and when not busy at the shipbuilding yard, she spends much of her time at the small dock adjoining it.
