Tazette Demonian necrohazard i dont know why you would think you'd need more practice.. those seem really good... i like the shading on the first one especially *nod* yea, all you need is a LITTLE practice (and i mean very little) on the atonomy... like in the first one, (dunno how to explain it) his knee looks a WEE bit off, and that super saiyan one looks like his legs are too small for him... <-- love the glowy aura thing around him tho, that turned out good at least you know how to do your stuff in color razz I've been working on another band pic, this one's for metallica.. it's a Demon holding the word metallica standing on a pentagram that's lit on fire.. its FAR from done, still working on the orgional sketch, so I havn't scanned it yet. >< YOU need to give me some color tips razz I can't color worth a chit :-/ 4laugh extremly good tho smile thank you very much! Doing stuff with color has always been a nightmare for me (I used to be good drawing with pencil/coal), so when I started to learn manga I decided I'd try to learn how to handle colors aswell. And yep, my anathomy is rather crappy, I have to work on that next. I already bought a book for that, I only need to find some spare time for practicing... razz @Melissa: I don't think you need any color tips from me, but I'll gladly try to help whenever you want wink

Tazette Demonian stare don't try ta kid. yer good at it. GIMMIE TIPS DAMNIT lol I wasn't kidding! The colours in your dragon look great, I'm completely unable to do anything with photoshop nor any other computer program sad I only use colour pencils on my pics. For applying the colour, I usually choose the main colour I want to use (for example, brown for hair), and then choose a couple more for shadows and highlights (for example, black and a brighter brown). The secret is applying a lot of different lawyers, makes the colour much richer. I start applying a first lawyer with the main colour, most of all to define the bright and dark areas. Once done, I apply a couple of lawyers more with the same colour, till I've got most of the areas done. When I'm finished with that colour, I apply the bright and dark tones to strengthen the volume or light effects, depending or what I want to achieve. I hope my explanation wasn't too confusing confused

I''m sure it will look great. ty very much heh

ok I finished the sketch, but NOTE that the damned thing scanned shitty, so It's not as good as the actual drawing. but with them shading/coloring tips the CG version should turn out REEEEALLY good... and I found a few good tutorials for a "paining" effect without spending 5 hours (well it will take more like 7 hours with the tuts but o well lol)
