Lizzie looked up at her sister. Smiling she took her twins hand and passed her a cookie. "Last one," she whispered. "We'll have to bribe the lunch ladies again."
Correcting her posture, Lizzie glared at her mother's back.

She grinned and nodded. She readjusted her scarf so her ears wouldn't freeze as they made their way toward the all girls school that they attended.

"Good bye, Mother, dear!" Lizzie trilled like her mother expected. But as soon as her mother was gone, she dashed to the lunch room.
"Hello, girls," smiled a sweet old lady. "How about something more nutritious than cookies?"
Lizzie sighed, but agreed to anything, she was just that hungry. "Yes please!"

"Yeah." Juniper agreed, she held her hands out thankfully, cookies didn't sound appetizing at the moment. She glanced at the clock. "We'd better hurry though or we really will be late!"

Lizzie thanked the lunch lady one more time before dashing to class. "Joon, what do you say to skipping class after lunch?"
Skipping wasn't something either of them did on a daily basis and for Lizzie to suggest it was way weird. Perhaps not eating enougth food was begining to mess with her head?

"Hmmmm," Lizzie pondered. "We could play hookie, but then we'd have to go home and sit with mum all day... I think we should just flat out skip! We could go get ice-cream or something!"

"Mmkay!" her twin instantly agreed. "And maybe we can go to the library and ask for more stories about Peter Pan?" she suggested. She was always keen to learn as much about Peter's adventures in Neverland.

"Deal!" Lizzie said with a smile. "Okay, let's get this over with..."
Walking quickly Lizzie took her seat right before the bell rang. Her teacher was glaring at her, but thankfully, there was nothing the teacher could do about it. The twins had arrived on time.
Staring dully at the chalkboard, Lizzie willed the time to pass quickly. After all, what could possibly be better than no class, ice cream and Peter Pan?

Joon felt the same way, if not, more sulkish as the two sat in the classroom. She had no friends in the class, only her sister, her sister was more appealing to the students, too.

Finally, three and a half hours later, the girls were eating lunch. It had seemed to take FOREVER. Lizzie had been called on three times and each and every time she didn't have a good enough answer. Also she had been sentenced to the "bad girl stool" and had to wear the dunce cap after lunch.
"Sucker!" Lizzie muttered as she finished her lunch. While the rest of the girls in her class headed out for recess, Lizzie and her sister were going to head in the opposite direction for ice cream. "Oh sweet, cold freedom here we come!"

They ran out of the school unnoticed and giggling madly. "Hey, maybe we'll get lucky and Peter will come and rescue us from going home!" said Joon eagerly. "I should hope that he would!"

"Wouldn't that be simply amazing?!" Lizzie trilled. "I'd love for him to do the same as well!"
The girls ordered their ice cream and ate it on the way to the library. Suddenly Lizzie's mood sank to her toes- an all time low for today."Joon, you don't think daddy will actually fulfill his threat of seperating us, do you?"

"If he ever even TRIES, I'll run away from that stupid place that he sends me away to, they like you better, you know so I know they'll send me away and I'll wait for you at the park where we like to play, by the fountain..." she replied. "Why do grown-ups have to be so mean all the time?" she asked. She crossed her arms, smiling, nonetheless, "That's why our adventures in Neverland will be perfectly wonderful when we have them!" she knew she sounded silly and that it was all make-believe but somewhere inside her told her it was all real.

Lizzie nodded. "I wish so bad, that Peter would just come and save us, I know he's real, Joon. And mum and dad don't like me better, I ALWAYS get into trouble..."
Lizzie scoffed the ground with her shoe. "Let's look up new books today. Do you think there will be books we haven't read yet?"
