I'm questioning that we all make seperate threads and just link them to this topic. But those threads will not be stickies. Anyone?

Agreed. This is why I don't want the classes to be stickies. Lets just keep the classes in this topic forum for awhile, and see where it goes from there.

There is my outline for my class. Today I'll begin on Unit 1, chapter 1. Expect it up later.

Never mind... Here is the Prelude to my class.

Prelude (Chapter 1): What are Techs?

Techniques are abilities that are used in Phantasy Star that work like magic in other RPG's. Teachniques can be used for attack purposes (Example: Foie- A fireball attack), Healing purposes (Example: Resta- Restores HP), Temporary Stat Boosing (Example: Deband: Raises Defence temporarily), Temporary Stat Decreasement (Example: Jellen- lowers ATP temporarily), or for teleportation (Example: Ryuker- creates a teleport back to Pioneer 2). Techniques are really useful in battle, but they do have some downfalls.
1) Techniques can only be used by Humans/Newmans. Androids cannot use techniques of any kind.
2) Techniques require TP to cast. Eventually, more TP will be needed for bigger spells.

MST (Your magic stats) will determine how much TP you will have.

Techs range from lv. 1 to lv. 30. Some techs only go to a certain point (such as anti). Other techniques do not go any further after they have been learned (Example: Reverser).

Most Hunters and Rangers can learn only up to lv. 15 techs, but there are exceptions. Forces can learn every tech in the game, and to their maximum levels.

Conclusion: Techs are abilities that allow you to do more damage, heal, change status, or teleport. They can only be used by a human/newman character. Techs have levels that require a certain amount of MST to learn.
