Others may disagree with me, but... I have to say that Dante acts almost TOO COOL, like, overly-perfectly so, in the anime. What with
"The next part is restricted viewing" -shoots down screen to hide massive demon-killing from view, only silhouettes-
OR
"You know what to do; get up there and pass him!"
"You make it sound simple."
"Why? Is it hard?"
"No. It's simple." -speeds forward on motorcycle-
I guess what I'm trying to say is that the things he does are just way COOL. I can't really describe it in any other way...
BUT, there's something about him being DANTE that just makes it... natural, instead of cheesy. It just... fits his character.

Especially with his not-so-stupid stupid one-liners and his strawberry sundaes. I mean what guy in his profession goes around ordering strawberry sundaes with a straight face? They're pink, for the love of demon-a**-kickery! razz Vergil's still cooler... biggrin
