I love George Harrison. Ever since watching A Hard Day's Night, he's been my girly Beatle's fantasy.^_^ I love it when he teaches Shake how to shave. I always make an effort to fit in "You don't see many of these nowadays, do ya?" into every conversation.

Heehee. Good idea. ^^

This seems random, but I wonder how Dhani Harrison feels. I mean, if my dad died and today was his birthday i would walking around the house sobbing. But I doubt Dhani would do that.

Gah I just love him so much...

And now a story:

I remember hearing about his death...I was lying in bed in my dorm room up at Humboldt State University. I was just about to fall asleep, listening to the radio when I heard the DJ mention it. My heart plummetted and all I could say was "Oh my God" I didn't realize I sad it outloud till my roommate asked what was up, so I told her "George Harrison died."

She, like me, was really into the Beatles, so it was nice to have someone to tell that understood. But I cried myself to sleep that night sad

We miss you George, but I'm sure we'll see you again!

George, my friend, you may be dead, but your music is not. People around the world will forever be saying "George Harrison's and the Beatles' music is fantastic!"

I remember the day I found out...I was only 11 or so, and I really didn't care about the Beatles individually, because I had just gotten a CD of them less than a year before he died. But I knew their music was great.

My mom was sitting on the sofa, reading the paper, and she turned the page to reveal a page-long article on George as well as a full body photo of him in a suit when he was younger.

Mom: "George Harrison died...I think she was my college room mate's favorite..." (No tears)

Me: "Oh. Who?"

Mom: "One of the Beatles."

Me: "Oh. Ok. Whatever."

I wish I knew who the beatles were back then! I just remember hearing it in the radio. I was on my way home from a piano lesson....I don't remember it that well cause I was in like fourth grade (yes, I am young! XP) and then all they played the whole day was Beatles songs..... crying
