*shadow keeps moving foward, andrea still out cold and still in her cat form, her true form. shadow holds andrea in his arms as he slowly heals from his fight with ranma. he continues on this path somewhat alone once more.*

*inthought.*"what is my purpose here? just some plaything for the gods, or is it something more. with andrea out cold, largo awall, and sigurd training and learning to better control eather. i'm all alone. just a drifter in this ancient time. with only my 2 swords at hand and my armor, have to protect andrea from ranma till she can recover and return to her human form. i am alone in this world."

Namine and Zell wake up the next morning and eat a quick breakfast before packing up their things and setting out again through the thick woods. Namine sighed, fumbling with a small crystal bottle hung around her neck on a silver chain, containing a clear liquid. Zell notices this out of curiousity.
"What is that?"
"What?"
"The bottle around your neck. What's it for?"
"It's filled with lavender oil to help ease the senses as you go to sleep."
"Where did you learn that?"
"Old family traditions, I guess."
"Traditions?"
"All the women in my family were...modern witches. Not like what you would think, we don't do voodoo or put hexes on people."
"...You just get more interesting and more mysterious by the day."
"Heh...you have no idea."
They walk on in silence through the trees.

The two continue they're journey together, walking at a faster pace as they reach the edge of the forest.

They reach the end of the woods as it opens up to a broad river with a long wooden bridge built across it. Namine refills their water supply as Zell checks the bridge's stability. When they're both finished, they continue across the bridge to the other side and into another, less dense section of forest.
