"Okay. So how do we get out of here? I'm reluctant to say that I don't know how. Until there's a pact, I can't trust you but I'll make it when we get out, if we get out." She stepped forward and held out her hand. "shall we continue?"

Lin took the offered hand and shook it. "May as well." She looked around at the tunnel. " I suppose wandering around shall have to work, for now."

after an hour of walking, setting off traps, fighting monsters, Alendys realized something. she was whispering things to herself, jumping from stone to stone and careful not to touch the walls which where covered in runes.

"This is tiring." Lin commented. She paused to examine the runes on the wall.

"I got it!" Alendys turned around and examined the runes on the wall. "I know where we are! This is the lowest level of the Underground Heaven where shunned monsters and demons dwell.... Every third stone, it springs a trap and every fourth stone calls a monster." She pointed to a mark on the wall that looked like an arrow pointing at a book. "These runes, if touched will start the forbidden fire or open a trap door.....good or not, I don't know...."

Lin edged away from the runes. "So what do we do about them?"

"We could take a chance and spring all traps doors to see if we get anywhere." She pulled out what looked to be silvery liquid formed into a string from her tunic. "i suggest that we lay this down after us. It's never ending elven string, unbreakable, very rare." with that, she slightly pushed on the rune and immediately, off in the distance, they could hear a slight rumble. "Now off to find that door..."

((Where're you going with this?)) "I doubt springing all the traps would help that much..." Lin said. "And what door?"

Lin paused, closing her eyes. "I think we're pretty close." She said. "But it might be hard to find the right passage to the center."

"What do you suggest we do? My mind is clouded with thoughts of what happens after we get out. It's a bad habit of night elves to think too far ahead..." Alendys stared at her with distant but gentle eyes.

Lin opened her eyes again. "As far as I can tell, the center is that way." she pointed to one of the cavern walls. "We might as well continue and try to find a passage going that direction."

Alendys's eyes showed trust for just a second and walked off in the direction that she pointed. She called over her shoulders, "You're also coming right? I mean after all, you're one of my clan now."

Lin blinked in suprise, then followed, smiling slightly. "Yes, I'm coming. It would not be very good for a person to stay down here alone."

alendys walked on. Was it the right descision to accept her into the Fushiwa without Grand Master's permission? I could easily have waited but someone else, someone inside me, told me that I should accept her as a student.... (writer's block)
