And, I have to agree that Bella sort of has two sides to her, just like a good portion of the Death Eaters do. There is pre-crazyasshugewar Death Eaters, and then there is post-crazyasshugewar Death Eaters. Look at Peter! He certainly has changed a lot in his lifetime.

Stan Shunpike would be a taxi driver. Smith... might be a lawyer, or something. Dunno.
Peeves would be a clown.

Smith would be an accountant or something. Ernie MacMillan would be a barrister or a judge. The founders would be:
Salazar Slytherin: A politician, or possibly a corporate CEO. Towards the end of his life, though, I'd lean towards professional eccentric.
Godric Gryffindor: Would make a pretty fine field marshal, or maybe a civil liberties activist.
Rowena Ravenclaw: Teacher or librarian, but she'd be good in a high-ranking government position or as a big-time lawyer as well.
Helga Hufflepuff: A daycare lady! Any job that involves working with little kids.
