Looks interesting... I'll have to read through it all a couple times. I'll probably throw together a character later. (bit hard to do it this morning)
Question though, any preferences on races for this game... wait, you already answered that in your first post... nvm

wow, looks like fun I'm in! Looks almost like some of the character options in the Elder Scroll games with the zodiac signs, nice touch. Hmmm no evil so no necros this game what else...
So you get 3 feats off the bat, two are astrological and the usual your alive feat?

Actually, necro I will allow, but just can't be evil. Well necromancy has to do with manipluation of life energies so even healing spells are a type of necro spell. Beyond the point, yes you are correct, 3 feats to start.

Sign of the Harpy Charming and socially gifted, the sign of the harpy blends the art of politics with the talent of a born salesman. You see the world not as it is, but as it should be, and all too often you apply your flair for manipulating others to shape events to your liking. You tend to have a wide circle of friends and contacts, all certain they hold a special place in your heart, and since you crave the good opinion of others you usually work very hard to live up to their expectations. However, in moments of frustration your dark side sometimes emerges in awful tirades where you inflict vicious toung-lashings upon those around you. Optimal Career: Born with a voice to make angels weep, you gain a +2 Perform (sing) and Perform (oratory) checks. Lucky Action: The most glib and persuasive of all signs, you gain a +2 on Bluff checks. Birthstone: Turquoise, the stone of air and weather, grants you a +1 luck bonus to Armor Class against range attacks
Sign of the Hydra Optimistic and durable, the sign of the hydra produces the most resilient people imaginable. Nothing gets you down for very long. You tend to spring back from even the most crushing of setbacks as confident and chipper as always. From an early age you earn praise for your positive attitude, your ability to find the silver lining in every cloud. You train yourself to keep on smiling no matter what, always showing the side of you that best portrays your image. Optimal Career: Your friendly personality and dogged tendacity often helps you find out what you need to know granting you a +2 on Gather Information checks. Lucky Action: Agile and resilient, you find that dodging blows and snaking through enemies comes naturally to you, granting you a +2 on Tumble checks. Birthstone: Diamond, the gemstone of strength and resiliency, gives you a +2 luck bonus to AC verus attak rolls made to confirm critical hits against you

Beyond the point, yes you are correct, 3 feats to start. My usual Dread Nercomancer class is any nongood, but most of the spells I like to cast in it all have the evil descriptor so I'd become evil very quickly lol. Just for background what general setting are we in? any official setting or just a misc. Material world on the Great Wheel?

The world we're in is one I use all the time. It's kinda kinda like Earth with various continents. Current the known continents are the Orients, Greyhawk, Eberron, Forgotten Realms (seems outta place right?) and Ravenloft. This way, when I say no class restrictions, I mean it. Oh, on the off chance someone is interested but doesn't have Dragon Compendium, I'm allowing the following: Races: arrow diaboli (LA +1)-a gentle but demonic looking race that enforces "do what thou wilt but harm none" arrow diopsid (LA +1)-simple but dependable insect race arrow lupin-dog-base arrow tabbit-cat-base
Classes: arrow Battle dancer arrow jester arrow savant-jack-of-all-trades that specializes in aiding others with skill checks. arrow Urban Druid

Hmmm, ok.... Is stuff from the Spell and Magic Items Compendium allowed? And does the living construct subtype still get he sign feats? and is the star touched feat the your alive feat or another free feat (meaning you'd get 3 star sign feats and the your alive feat for a total of 4)? sorry for asking so many questions I've had very little sleep and way to much caffeine so brain feels like it's on fire right now lol

1- I have the Spell Compendium but not Magic Item, so if you get anything from it, I ask you cross it by me first. 2-yeah 3-Level 1 players start with only 3 feats, Startouched (Zodiac sign) and Born Under (solar/lunar symbol) and lvl 1 feat. Of course there is an exception to the humans. 4-No problem if anything else comes up you can AIM for a faster/clearer answer.

I understand that my post may have been fuzzy at best, so I'm using an old character I used as a guide for an example: Dr. Fausto Fate
