Fractured Moonlight Captain

Eclipse let his other ear fall at Saradin's question. Sure Aurahkah had told him to keep the matter between the both of them, but he wasn't happy watching her fall back to what she used to be. "Aurahkah is...beng difficult. It's not just the threat of another you either, she's putting herself in this dark position as well." He took a glance over at his master for a moment before letting his eyes shift back to Saradin. "Listen if she gets any worse than this and I don't know about it...tell me."
Aura was simply watching them all again, going through her though processes and such, talking and being influenced by something she had been warned against. Even now Eclipse was starting to get on her case about it. She was fine...Her eye was caught by the blue orb, but didn't really phase her either.

The ball twitched "She is not dead, but when her pet died - he was not here. When she was getting her wings - he was not there. When she was getting taken away - he was not there. Also she did not mention him in the good bye letter of which she wrote." The ball moved quickly around the air.

Nailah shook her head. She had some things to do. She nodded to the group and said, "I'll see you guys later." Turning around she grabbed Rasui and walked back to her room. Seh picked up the book on dreams she had taken from teh library, flopped onto her bed, adn began to read.

Khenu waved after Nailah and returned his full attention to the light ball. It looked like one of his electricity balls he had made but it was alive. In his fascination the electricity around his arms died out. "I didn't know Phea left."
Reaching up he touched the feather in his hair then smiled broadly. "I'm sure she'll be back in no time!" He then concentrated on the ball again. "So what are you? Just light?"

"Aren't you an inquisitive little thing" the ball said to the child. "You could say I am life energy, a part of Syrathos that is not really himself. All the thigs he regrets. Syrathos has been around since the dawn of time. He has done many things and regretted many things. Angels like him are not really supposed to feel emotion, but for some reason he does. He started to learn empathy to increase his emotions. From all the stuff he had done, sadness increased the most, and thus I was created by his angel immunity so store his sadness. To explain to people when he couldn't."

Khenu blinked at the ball. "Ok..." That pretty much summed it all up didn't it? His fingers played with the claw he had gotten from Bastet that was around his neck as he squinted an eye at the ball. "So what do we call you? You're not Syrathos so you need a name."

The ball looked at Khenu. "Maybe you could think of a name, I could be your companion." the ball twicthed and flitted.
Syrathos was at the library now, unaware of the abscence of his 'ball' he was reading through various books practicing his magic.

Khenu went into a thinking stance; his feet together arms crossed and one eye closed. "An angelic ball of light...hmmm..." He bit down on his lip now going into an even more intense state of thinking.
"Since you're supposed to be Syrathos' sadness like you said I think you should have an opposite name to that. You are happy seeming. Um, I'll call you Spark, if that's okay." Seemed practical to him. The ball of light was like a spark of Syrathos.

Spark flitted and buzzed around the air before hovering close to Khenu. "Peferect" he said before spiralling around Khenu several times. "I wonder why they are not talking?" Spark rested on Khenu's sholder glowing brightly.

Khenu followed Spark with his eyes to his shoulder before looking to the others in the room. He shrugged. "I dunno." Turning a look to them all, his eyes half closed then snapped open again for the second time that day.
He lowered his tone to a whisper. "But Aura doesn't seem to happy and Saradin and Eclipse feel worried."

Spark flitted around "I see, well I will be back" spark said before his light went out.
Syrathos closed the book and orbed away.

Khenu moved a hand over his shoulder feeling around in the air where Spark had been. "Wow he IS just light. Cool." Smiling again he phased quickly to the kitchen a growl from his stomach telling him that he was hungry.

Across the uneasy silence, Saradin looked about as the others exitted to three things. First as always was the soulforge, center of obsession and the glistening thread of hope that had saved him time and again. Second was Eclipse, another being built of darkness but seemingly beyond the taint it normally caused. Third was Aurahkah sitting in that chair, seemingly growing more dispondant as the hours passed. If this continued, it wouldnt be to long before what peace the manor had was shattered completely as its owner herself shifted personality.

Aura caught Saradin's gaze to her and held it, watching back maybe just as intently as he was. Her eyes watched him as her mind was torn between listening to two forces and trying to figure out the man before her as well. Was this the real one?
Eclipse fluffed his wings once in agitation his attention divided between the two left in the room. One he was gently reminding who she was, the other he was placing a trust in to be really him. He pawed at the floor once, looking between them.

Silence wasn't going to change anything, but at the same time the silence itself didn't seem to be going anywhere. It was almost a deadlock between the three of them, waiting to see who would crack. "This isn't going to work." Saradin chose to end it first. Slowly removing the holstered gun from behind him, he pulled the clip free from it discarding the gun to the floor with the Soulforge and pocketing the clip. "From this point on, I walk around weaponless. I can't be much of a threat this way."
