The Architect laughed, full of mirth. "I see, I see...I see what's going on now..." He turned and walked toward Josh. "I am assuming that you have no idea what you're doing here. You want an explanation. Someone possessed your body and brought it here. It wants blood so it can return to its original state. And you don't want that to happen? No problem, I'll take you out of here."

But of course, I'll help him get back his body. He will be of help to me. "The way out is through this tunnel. It is the fastest way out. There will be no one to attack you inside, so you don't need to worry." The floor slid out from beneath him and he fell to the depths. ((Don't worry, he lands safely.)) One of the exits is indeed outside this fortress. But then again, another exit is at the heart of the Ico base... The Architect smiled. "Things will turn well."

((Gotta go!))

Josh was in a dark place, he was truly stunned the events of the past week had hit him hard fast and left him disorientated.
The valheru inside wanted to burst free. But josh quelled the sensation and sat down contemplating on what to do.

As Rayne made his way through the hallway killing many of the Ico rebel stragglers, he spotted the important official surrounded by four bodyguard. The body guards charged quickly towards the hitokiri Ten Hinote, they were dispatched just as quick. As the final bodyguard was dispatched, Rayne stood there silently and said " Surrender and there will be no death or sever wounds that will be fallen upon you." The official said in a stuttering voice ' I-I'll n-not surrender..." and thought to himself silently I must not die ..I cannot die .. I must live.... After a few moments of thinking he charged towards the hitokiri Ten Hinote.

The manslayer dodged the attack and quickly made do of the situation taking advantage of the strike that left the official open. After a few last exchange of blows with the official, Rayne slashed the official from the right shoulder that lead down directly to his ribcage. The official spewed out blood from his wounds and there were stains of blood almost all over the area. The official fell dead to the ground covered in his own pool of blood. Rayne have completed his fist assignment and decided to leave this place. As he left the place he takes of the rebel uniform and throws the it onto the ground. He then leaps into the shadows vanishing without a trace.

The Architect's fortress was his best design. No one inhabited it except for him. It was carefully layered with enchantments and structured with strategy and efficiency. Only he knew the ins and outs of the place. Of course, he littered the place with booby traps and dead-ends with no way out.

Why would he stay inside all day? He was quite fond of plants and trees. He often crossed the drawbridge and perambulated to his secret garden. His castle had a moat of hydrochloric acid (the acid in your stomach). His garden was the ideal place to be: a sanctuary. Also barrier-enchanted, it held the prettiest roses and the most exotic plants. The Architect liked to stay there and think about his life and his past...

Kaze was flying from the sky, the sun was setting and it gave hims transperent wings a gleam. he wrapped his wings around him and closed his eye as he turned to dive down head first in the sky. his tail and hair whipped in the air as he flew down faster and faster, finally doing a backflip as his wings opened up to full length, spreading his arms, and pulled him back. he closed his wings and was able to drop down besides Matsu with a thud, his head down as he landed kneeling. his tail swayed in the air, he slowly opened his eye "Matsu-dono...You've called...What can I do for you..?" Kaze smelt like blood, a recent mission given to him was done and completed.

Matsu glanced over at Kaze and smiled. He always got the job done, though sometimes one had to wonder at what cost. Shrugging that thought off, Matsu raised Kaze so that he was standing up completely.
" Why always so formal, Kaze-kun?" he asked smiling slightly as his nine tails waved around slowly. Taking a breath, Matsu watched as a firefly went by, it's light brightening the darkness slightly. He smiled as it flew by, followed by a few others.

"What you can do now, is rest, you have done well, I'm proud of you" he said as he continued to walk followed by Kaze. Giving him a warm smile, Matsu patted his shoulder. "You need to relax a little, Kaze" he said quietly, while still smiling. "Oh, and a bath wouldn't hurt either." Matsu said laughing a bit.

Kaze stood up and sighed abit, he was tired and bored. "I'm sorry, Father...I just suspected you had followers with you....You've told me before to call you such things if others were ever around to throw off suspisions of us being related.." he combed his hair back with a hand as he followed bored, swaying his tail slowly within the air, like a fish swiming in a pond.

"Thank you..." he sighed and shortly looked away, he did not need to relax, he was fine. he smirked slightly "A bath..? I am fine for now...like I have anyone to impress...." he trailed off remembering things then looked away and wiped some blood off his cheek. "So how is progress?"
PostPosted: Sun Sep 05, 2004 6:11 pm

"Progress? It's doing fine, the Orcs, though lazy procrastinators, always mangage to get things done on time." Matsu said scratching his head. "One of those mysteries of life I suppose." he said with a grin. Kaze had always been fairly blunt when it came to things, ever since Matsu had rescued him as a child, a very long time ago but it didn't feel very long.

Looking over at him with one eye, Matsu sighed, Kaze was a perfect warrior, strong, without emotion, and with high loyalty and power, yet he had little social skills, and any attempt Matsu had made at trying to find someone to open up Kaze had always failed.

" I do have another mission for you, but I want you to clean up before hand, then I'll brief you in the forest outside the city." Matsu said quietly, but knowing Kaze had heard it all.

Kaze was silent the whole time, staring at the ground ahead of them, his hands in his pockets and stopped to watch Matsu. He quirked a brow, curious, look nice? something sounded suspicious, probly another atempt to get him a woman. a small growl rumbled in his throat but it faded off quickly. bowing to Matsu, "Yes Father...I shall head off immediately..."

He took off into to get bathed and have better clothes. he hadn't bathed in two weeks.

The Leader met with his top members in his boardroom. Dark-faced men stared in anticipation. "The project has taken a setback sir," one of the men reported. The Leader peered at him. "What setback is this?" "It seems to be growing out of control." He sighed. "How are the magi and the blacksmiths?" Another man said, "Only a few have been lost." The Leader smiled. "Only a minor setback, not to worry. Proceed with the experiment."

Matsu's nose twitched as Kaze left to go bath, he hadn't bathed in two weeks... his hygeine was improving to say the least. Kaze wasn't good at taking care of himself beyond the necessities of food and water, and of course combat. Matsu himself didn't enjoy combat, but it was necessary, and sometimes to achieve good things, bad things had to be done. Walking back to the forest nearby, Matsu picked out his favourite spot, and then sat down and meditated, taking deep breaths, as he did so, creatures formed around him for a short time, before being replaced by a new creature.

Rayne wandered through the headquarters and notice that the plan had a slight flaw as the first group of Ico clan members were severly injured, but none the less only a few casualties were found among the members. Even though they made it alive, they were to distract the Ico rebels long enough. Some of them were whispering among themselve saying that a strange being dispatched several of the Ico members almost seemingly with ease. Rayne thought to himself of whom would have such skill and it couldn't be him, since he was fightning with the Ico not against them. Many of them started to go into another training session and some of the injured were headed to the healer's room. Rayne decided to go back into the planning room and wanted to see where to strike next and what official to kill as a assignment.

After spending about 10 mins bathing, Kaze came out with the same clothes on except for the vest and jacket and gloves. Made his way over to the forest, his body was built and majority of it was muscle mass, covered in scars from combat. he sighed abit as he wrapped himself with his wings as he came up to Matsu and quirked a brow. "Now what do you want?" his eyepatch was off for once, revealing the blind eye
