"Why would I buy someone like you?" the man asked quite bluntly, "I just want the dragon. I have no place in my manor for a rude, barbaric woman like you." The men with the weapons lowered them ever so slightly, watching their lord speak with the group.
"M-My lord?" one of the ones with a blowpipe in his hands started slowly, "If I may speak... They are currently under arrest, correct?"
"Of course they are," the man spoke with a tone that spoke of authority.

"The indignance of it all," the man spoke, his mood slowly falling once more. It would not have been falling so quickly had the woman kept her tongue in its rightful place. Still, if what she was splurging was true then that would mean that it was not something he could easily take. "Anyway, everyone, come with me. That's an order," Rian spoke, quelling what he wanted to say once more. For now, he had to bide his time and think over what his next move should be.

"Because I'm the lord of this city and- if you really were with Hari- it means that you are looking for the items, correct?" the man started, smirking, "Let's just say that I might know where some of those items that he rants about are. However, if you're not from other worlds as that man rambles then I truly doubt that you all will be able to escape from the bites of the sernts." Rian took his place on the cushioned litter once more, gently sliding the white sernt from its place on his shoulders. Its red eyes watched the group unblinkingly.
"If you are from Genesis then you will know of the potentcy(sp) of the sernt's bite," the man continued, watching the group with laughing eyes.

Mickey stood close to Larissa. She watched the man, her eyes wide, almost too scared to blink. The half demon couldn't rememebr the last time she'd been truly terrified, but this man... The way he spoke, how he carried himself, how his servants reacted... The half demon grabbed the sleeve of her friend's shirt and held onto it tightly.

Midori's ears perked up when she heard the word 'items'. "You know about the items?!" Midori chattered so fast that it sounded like the words were tripping over themselves.

"Oh pretty boy got balls trying to be big and bad, well whatever I just want the items so I'll be good for now. Won't we Dark?"Kiaya asked the dragon and he lifted a sign that said,'Yup what Master said'
"Great why couldn't Kyle be here to take care of his cousins." Bara said trying to bring humor to the scraed rat and her friend the dragon.
Nariko had gotten on larissa's shoulder after the cats left and she glared at the snake things hissing at them as she had the cats.

"Oh yes, because it takes a lot of courage to go up against an ugly wench such as yourself," the man spoke cooly before snapping to the men, "Hurry it up. Let's get back for their dinner or you'll be dinner." The men quickly scrambled with the litter, fumbling for a few seconds before firmly grabbing hold and hurriedly heading towards the city. Though it would be exceedingly hard for the foreign group to spot, there was a mithril-like hilt sitting underneath the cushion of the litter.

Kiaya didn't care what the man said. Looks never mattered with strength, some of the strongest people she fought were completely ugly. She walked with the rest of the group though was thankful that Dark was finally able to be out of the bag. When they were in close contact they were strongest.

Midori rested on Ammy's back and let Ammy lead the way. She trusted Ammy that she would keep them with the group. She didn't usually see many people be so stubborn and sharp tongued. Things weren't normal here, she was definately in another world. Well, as if that wasn't obvious when she first came here.

The litter made its way into the outer layer of the city. The outer layer of Parinene almost looked as though there was some sort of festival going on. Almost all of the people had cheap jewelry on and some even had masks on their faces. What was most identifiable were several buildings with made-up women outside of them. They were, of course, brothels that were attracting men from the streets. What was even more unusual were a couple of buildings with men beckoning(sp) women and men from the streets: male brothels.
Rian seemed impartial to the happenings of the streets though. Such people were not of his business and thus not worth any of his time. The sernts were enough to keep everyone a fair enough distance away from the lord.

If she hadn't been so scared, Mickey would have been fascinated by the city. Larissa was trying to lighten her up. The fairy pointed out one of the male brothels. "Hey, look; while we're here Claw can get a job," she told the half demon with a grin.
"Ahaha... yeah..." The laugh was clearly forced.

"I wonder if there's anything worth to buy here other than people." Midori smirked as she picked up Ammy's money pouch.
"Hey! That's my- er, I mean Ammy's money! We earned it fair and square, so don't even think about spending it!" Issun growled.
Ammy didn't really care what either of them did with the money, she was just taking in the views.

Kiaya had pulled Dark down from her head and held him aginst her chest as if he were a stuffed animal. The town reminded here slightly of what down town Dragoon looked like.
